This is my second pair of these sandals - they're that comfortable! You put them in the oven and then stand with them on your feet while the soles conform to your foot. Soft and yet supportive, even for someone like me with plantar fasciitis.

These shoes are very comfortable. Kinda clunky looking but the comfort is worth it. Lots of support, good if you have plantar f. issues. The heat molding is an interesting idea, and I don't know if it makes that much difference, but regardless, I would recommend these for casual wear.

I had foot surgery 5 years ago, and I have extremely high arches. It's hard to find a sandal (besides Birkenstocks) that have the arch support I need without my custom orthotics. These Montails fit the bill! I knew exactly when I put them on that they would have the support I need. I wear size 11, and the size 11s I ordered fit perfectly. I didn't have any issues with the toe space or anything. My foot seemed to fit in the premade spots for heels, etc. I followed the instructions to 'bake' my sandals, and they fit like a dream! I like how it's a casual sandal that I can get wet without worrying about ruining them. I will purchase Montrail again!

My husband and kids were rather alarmed when I put my new shoes in the oven (as instructed by Montrail), but they really did mold to my feet. I ordered size 11, my usual size, but they were too big, so I exchanged them for 10s, which were just right.

This is my second pair of these flip flops! If you have flat feet and want to wear a shoe that supports your feet, these are the ones! They are athletic looking, so you can't wear them with most outfit but your feet will thank you!

Very very comfortable, particularly if I had gone ahead and molded the shoe to my foot. However, it was just a wee bit too wide for my taste, so I decided to send them back.

Wow, I have been trying in vain to replicate the Teva Elixir's I have worn out, tried the Teva Katavi thongs but just all around inferior in comfort and support. Earth exter-whatevers were just not the thing either. These, while a little odd in shape (foot bed bulging out at the arch?!) are truly the most comfortable and supportive pair of flips I've found since the old Tevas. Yeah! I walk a lot in my flips and I needed the great arch support and cushioning bed these have. Yes, as others noted, it seems a little short from toe post to heel and I may order a size up for a second pair, but all around a great flip and a worthy successor to the Teva Elixir!

These shoes had such a great review I thought they'd be perfect. But sadly, I had to return them. They didn't fit. The length and width were fine, but the straps were way too tight. They might have been fine once going through the molding process, but I couldn't risk it. I wanted them to fit so badly! I don't usually have trouble with flip flops not fitting in the strap area, so it was a little disappointing. I did order a 1/2 size larger than normal too, and they felt like my normal size. So maybe they run a little small.

I live in flip flops most of the year, and these by far are the best I have ever worn. Great arch support and a cushioned feel when walking. Loved them so much, I immediately ordered another pair before they were sold out. Took the advise of other reviews and ordered a size up, they fit perfectly.

I love these flip flops. I have purchased them 3 summers in a row. I wear them all day every day inside and out. I love them pregnant and not. Would recommend them to everyone.

These are the most comfortable and supported flip flops ever! I have plantar fasciitis, and these are the only sandals that don't cause it to act up. I use one pair as slippers in the house and the other for wearing around. I am an 8 1/2 wide and the 8 fits fine, the 9 was too big. Cute looking, and very good support for your arch and heel. You won't be disappointed!

My sister-in-law recommended these to me. They are so comfortable! I've suffered from plantar fascists in the past, so I have to be very careful with what shoes I wear. I live in Houston, TX where I can wear these almost year round. I'm formerly a fan of the Reef Slap sandal, but I like these even better. I can't say enough positive things about Zappos in general and great customer service when rarely needed. I'm always amazed how quickly they get what I order to my door. Love, love them!

Great support for a flip flop! You can heat them up and mold them to support your personal fit! Love 'em! This was my 6th pair!

Love these flips! I have flat feet, so I need arch support, and these make my feet feel great. Can walk in these for hours with no foot pain.

I have flat feet and have a hard time wearing flip flops. This is a great shoe with a nice built up arch. It has good lateral support. It's my second pair. I didn't feel like I needed to put this shoe in the oven (to mold to my foot - as recommended).

I wish I had found these great flip flops years ago. I have extremely flat feet and I am a heavy person, yet the arch support in these shoes has made long distance summer walking a pleasure(formerly impossible without motion control sneakers for over-pronation). At first the Molokini looked too orthopedic to me, but I am used to the style now, and actually they are very cute--cute enough that I got a second pair in a different color. I like these 100% more than the Chacos I bought last year--the Molokini's sole is squishy and soft, much kinder to the bottoms of my feet than the Chacos (which are supportive, but hard and much less flexible.) Big people with flat feet, over-pronation and plantar fasciitis can wear flip flops in the summer if those flip flops are Montrail Molokinis!

Outstanding! This has the best arch support in any shoe I have ever worn! They are stylish and feel great. My feet feel wonderful at the end of the day. I did not bake them....did not want to tamper with the terrific arch support. It is unbelievable that these are basically flip-flops. Wish they made cute sandals to wear with capris....I would definitely purchase if they did!

I think I have a love/hate thing going with these shoes. I have had them for about a month. I got them in Black to kick around the house and yard. I wear a women’s 10 med. and I ordered these in a 10 (no width choices). The black size 10 is not a very feminine looking shoe, kind of bulky and wide. Also the toebed on this shoe is long, sticking out about 3/4" further than my toes (and I have some really long toes) I think because the thong (toe strap)sets back on the shoe a little farther than most. The upper strap itself is also getting loose around the top of my foot but no problem keeping them on. If I get another pair (a color this time!) I think I will order a 9 (9 1/2 would be preferable but no 1/2 sizes available) and see if they fit better. I haven’t worn thongs in forever so I was prepared for some toe rub, so I have just been wearing them an hour or so a day since I got them, and the first thing I put on after work, but they still hurt even though the strap is a very soft satiny material. I think the problem is more where the silky strap connects to the upper rubbery section that is causing my grief. No one else here seems to have a problem with this so I will persevere. I am determined to wear these in and I use a band aid between my toes sometimes BECAUSE I absolutely LOVE the comfort of the footbed itself. It’s like walking on air! (I did put them in the oven as suggested) I have a lot of foot pain and leg pain and these babies keep me on my feet much longer than my usual 4-5 hours before I'm down in a chair with my feet up, which is why I will tolerate the minor negatives. I would Love to see Montrail make this same shoe available as a slide. What will I wear in Winter?? I refuse to do the socks in thong thing! :)

Years ago. I bought these flip flops while on vacation. They have lasted more than 8 years with minimal wear and tear. When I realized I was able to purchase them on Zappos, I jumped at the chance. The arch support is the best there is. They are better than Orthaheels because these flip flops have a soft footbed that, if you warm them up, can even be molded specifically to your foot shape. Love these flips! But you may want to size down if your foot is between sizes.

I LOVE these flip flops. I have high arches, as well as Plantar Fibromatosis that is painful. These flip flops support the arches better than any other flip flop or shoe ever have. Wish they would go on sale occasionally. I bought a pair for my husband and now he is a believer. !!! There is nothing worse than shoes that hurt your feet. They are like walking on a cloud.

These are the most comfortable pair of footwear I have owned in my entire life. I get a back ache if I stand for more that 5 minutes, but not with these babies! I just ordered another pair. I could walk forever in them too! Excellent complete foot support!

Love these! They are incredibly lightweight and supportive for a flip-flop. The cushioned strap is dreamy too.

I have tried every sandal. These are the best; they are like clouds massaging my arches. I have heel pain, plantar fasciitis, overpronation (super high arches). I was ready to be disappointed because I have tried everything...Chaco, Spenco, Orthaheel. The Orthaheel were not wide enough it looked like a long clown shoe (my foot is slightly wide, is a C not a B width) the footbed was not great and the arch hit my foot in the wrong spot. Chaco were so cute, once again, arch in the wrong spot for my foot, I was in severe pain. These Montrail are perfect. I put them on and it felt custom made. And I haven't even done the heat-in-oven-and-mold thing yet. No, they aren't super stylish but I could care less at this point. They aren't ugly. Finally a company made a sandal that I can walk all day in! Zero pain, from anywhere and I can feel it stopping me from overpronating. Love it. Seriously I am ordering 2 more pairs, right now. The only other sandal I can wear is high arch Birkenstock. Other than that is custom orthotic.
