These shoes are great. I did have to get a half size smaller than I normally wear because they are long and lean shoes.

Great shoe! I wear a 81/2 N and the 8M fits perfectly with a little tightening on the laces. The shoe runs narrow and a little long. Very comfortable -- great color.

Very comfy shoe except for the width. But once you wear them for about a week they conform to your foot!

These are the best looking boat shoes I have ever had. I love these shoes. They fit well, they wear well, all day long. I wish I had 2 pair.

I am a swim coach and wanted something other than sneakers to wear on the pool deck. They definitely fit the bill. I am an 8 Narrow and that is what I ordered and it fit perfectly. It takes a bit of time to "break in" and they do stretch a small amount.

I ordered the Turquoise Super Soft in my true size, a 6.5. I absolutely LOVE them! The leather is so soft, but to be honest, they felt a bit bigger than other Sperry boat shoes (I also have the gold leather ones in a 6.5 and they're narrower). Overall, very comfortable and such an eye-catching color!

Love Zappos service! These shoes were nice but the wide size was a little too wide, especially in the heel area. It made the shoe feel too large overall.

I ordered these shoes in black, and they are fantastic. They are really tight when you first try them on, but after a few days of wearing they fit perfectly. I can now slip them on and off with ease, so don't be afraid if your usual size feels too small at first.

I wear a double wide and had hoped I could stretch the wide to fit. It wasn't going to work. My 27 year old daughter tried them on and loved the shoe. She says they are very comfortable.

Hooray for one of the few shoes you can always find in wide widths! Although a note, if you're used to ordering up a bit to fit your wide feet, you do not need to on these. I haven't even had them that long and the leather is breaking in beautifully. So comfortable. I also adore the sahara/honey color combo, almost classic, but still a little interesting!

I am in love with these shoes. I wasn't sure about sizing since there were a lot of people saying to size a 1/2 size down. I decided to go with my true size and I'm glad I did, I feel like they fit well, perhaps are a bit roomy, but good for the days when my feet are hot and sticky. The ties make the shoe feel tighter when I want them to be. I will say the only downside is the heels are a bit loose/wide, but I have narrow feet, so this issue might be nothing for someone with normal or wider feet. They do stretch a lot after wearing them, so if you are between sizes, I'd go with the smaller size. But if your feet are a true size, just go with your size!

The best boat shoe - Great shoes. Been wearing them since I was young and they are timeless. While it is not the most fashionable shoe, it is the best shoe for practicality, comfort and look on the boat, and it works well for going on land. I have to go up a half size in these shoes and they feel snug when new however they will stretch so don't buy with room. It takes about 5-6 wears before they stretch and shape to your foot to be comfortable.

Women's Sperry Topside Boat Shoe - I love this shoe and have several pair. It is the ultimate in comfort and practicality when around water or anywhere else. The ice color is the classic. Would never be without a pair. Seems I spend whole seasons in it. Order it a half size larger than your dress or regular casual shoes.

I love the clean classic look... color goes with everything but these Top-siders are no where near as cushioney as the other Sperry Top-siders I own!

Very comfortable shoe for walking a lot! I could wear boat shoes all day, every day! These are the most comfortable shoe to wear without socks. However, I would say that Sperry's run a bit small, though I wouldn't say a 1/2 size smaller. I ordered these in a 7-1/2 and they feel too small. So, I ordered an 8, which felt much too big. I'm staying with the 7-1/2, which is almost always my true size. I've have had boat shoes before and know that they will eventually stretch and conform to my feet. My big toes will just have to suffer until this happens! I will never be able to wear socks with these, so they have to be my warm weather shoes. One odd thing about these shoes, as others have said: Sperry sewed a fabric label on the insole of the shoe which does annoy the bottom of your foot. This label was on the size 8 Sahara color (with honey sole), but not on the size 7-1/2 Brown (with white sole)!! They are the exact same style shoes, just a different color...one with the annoying label, and one without!

Sperry Top-Sider - Leather is stiff -- needs a break in period unlike the other Top-Siders I own.

Great shoes, very comfortable!

Been looking for a new pair for years! I wanted that floppy, broken in feeling that wouldn’t take a year to achieve, and in 1 week these shoes are perfect. They are a bit narrow at first, probably took 4 days to get them to stretch and form to my foot (width wise), and now they are perfect. The leather is soft, but not collapsing, the honey color is so nice and neutral, and I am just really pleased. The plaid half liner is cute too. Pretty comfy as well, much better than they were in…well, let’s just say a while back ;). I’m very happy to have found these at Zappos!
