Wow! What a surprisingly great experience this order turned out to be. This wasn't my first Zappos order, but it was the first time I had to return something. I ordered my usual Birkenstock size; I have over a dozen pair, so I am familiar with the fit, but for some reason the shoes were a tiny bit too small. I downloaded the return order. The day I packed the shoes to return, I realized I was a couple days past the 10-day return limit stated on my return order, so I called Customer Service for a 2nd return order. The operator was friendly, helpful, and focused on helping me. While she was speaking with me, she emailed the 2nd return, reordered my shoes (which were sent free overnight service), and signed me up for VIP service so that I will always get free overnight shipping. This was late on Saturday morning; my replacement shoes were at my door by noon the following Monday. The whole telephone call to Customer Service took less than five minutes. I went directly to the PO after the call to return the shoes, but Zappos didn't know that I would do that. I had expected that I'd be charged for the second pair and reimbursed for my original order once the shoes were received at Zappos, but my original payment was the only financial activity. Thank you!

My son wears a size 11 so I ordered a 44 (11-11.5) in this shoe and it was a PERFECT FIT! This BB is not only an attractive shoe but my son swears it is so comfortable (molds to your feet) that when he takes them off to put on his walking shoes THEY actually hurt his feet! Zappos + Birkenstock's Boston = A FIRST CLASS PACKAGE DEAL! ENJOY!

Great Shoes! I just love these shoes! I wear them everywhere and they fit perfectly. I would recommend these shoes to people who like to walk a lot - great support and great look!

I Love My Birkenstocks!! I've never had these exacts Birkenstocks before, but love them for winter with cozy socks. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 15 years and love their comfort as I have foot problems. Zappos was fast on their shipping, and they came as advertised. They aren't the most beautiful shoes, but the comfort makes up for the beauty. Great shoes!

This is my cold weather Birkenstocks. I have several pairs of Birks and Boston looks very good with casual clothes, especially with a pair of jeans. They are very comfortable so that I could walk all day and be happy with the shoes. This is my third pair of Boston’s over last 10 years. (I guess if I resole them, they would last longer but I just buy new ones). I expect them to last at least 3 years before I need another pair.

Great Shoe - Very comfortable for those who spend a lot of time on their feet.

German engineering, style, comfort, and quality. These shoes are awesome, felt true to size, great looking shoe and very well put together.

The Most Comfortable Shoe Ever!!!! This shoe is so comfortable, has minimal break in time, and will never go out of style. This is my second pair of Birkenstocks, I got the first pair 5 years ago, and finally wore the soles out....they last forever!!! Definitely worth the money.

Ba Da Ba Ba Ba... I'm lovin it! I LOVE MY BIRKS! The best birkenstock design ever. So comfortable. They look great, great with everything dressed up or casual. My Bostons are my daily shoes. These are the only shoes I wear! I love them!

Great...after you break them in - Great shoes. However, they take awhile to break in. But after they are broken, they're very comfortable and feel true to your foot...it's fabulous.

Lots of good things about this sandal, but it does take a few weeks to break it in. Overall, I like it. As for the style, it is what it is. Would like more color and leather selections for this model, though.

I would like these if I had gotten the narrow! I am so sad! I have medium-width feet and so didn't order a narrow. I so wish I had!! I thought they would be ok with a sock (which is how I intended to wear them), so I wore them for one day and now I can't return them. They are way way too wide for me and gave me a blister on the top of my toe (from trying to keep them on??)… What a waste! I can't justify buying another pair right now. :( PLEASE, if you are not really wide footed, order the narrow!!!

So cute and excellent arch support, but the suede is very floppy and the tongue folds under around the strap every time you pick your foot up to take a step. Had to send them back -- too bad, they're so cute!

I have worn this exact same sued shoe and size for many years, and I love it, so when it wore out, I ordered another pair. In the new pair, the leather on top was so soft or thin that it flops down, and I could not slip into the shoes but had to sit down and put them on as if they were tie shoes. That's not what I want to do for casual use. Nor is it the same as in my previous pair. I've returned the new pair, disappointed. I'll try either another leather or another style. Thanks to Zappos, that's easy to do.

Loved this shoe; comfortable as all Birkenstocks I've tried so far, and loved the softness of the suede, but it squeaked. I wore it the first afternoon at work and it was fine. That evening at home they started squeaking. Next day, squeaking. I thought maybe I could "walk out" the squeak, but after several days, I returned them for a different pair (same style). That one made the same squeak right out of the box. The squeak was coming from when the suede pulled up as I stepped, not from the footbed at all. I returned those an ordered the Boston in oiled leather. Thicker material. No squeaks.
