I gave this sandal an honest to goodness try, but every time I wore them, my ankles would kill me & swell up. As soon as I removed them, the pain was still there, but not as severe. Ice packs sure helped!

Well, I love the style and they are very comfy. Unfortunately, they got a little damp at the beach and started to smell. I cleaned them gently with detergent when I got home and left them out to dry and they still smell. I have never had this problem with any of my sandals, ever! I am so disappointed. None of the other reviews mention this problem so I am perplexed. I'll probably just wear them around the house from now on.

I love the look of these shoes but the left shoe continues to cause blood blisters on the bottom of my big toe, no matter how I adjust the straps. I have never had this happen with any shoe before. For that reason I am not able to recommend them.

I was sure that I was going to like these sandals because I was replacing a pair of Ecco sandals that look just like these that I had worn and enjoyed for three years. I have bad feet and the arch support and all over comfort was just what I needed. They have changed the footbed so that they no longer have good arch support or any cushioning. I wore them thinking they would improve with a little wear and maybe conform to my feet. No such luck and now, of course, I am sure a return is out of the question. And I am out all of this money.

These are cute, but for me not as comfy as the TEVA's. My little toe is squashed. It's not a matter of loosening the strap, it's just the way the sandal is made. I cannot get the back strap tight enough for my heel. Where I wear my Teva's for everything, I will only wear these because they will stay clean. Where I put true to size...I'm guessing it is, maybe my foot is what is weird. Too crampy in toe area and too big in heel area and not enough pull in the straps to relieve or tighten. Very disappointed and wish that I'd sent them back. Oh well.

The overall rating had nothing to do with the size or the width. Both the size and width were fine. I bought these sandals based on the reviews they have. I needed good walking sandals for my trip to Chicago so I decided to splurge. I thought I would wear them around the house and they felt decent, so I decided to keep them. I have high arches and after walking for an hour in Chicago I started to feel the lack of arch support, blistered around my pinky toes and bottom of foot. That was a quick fix though with several Band-Aids, I thought after four days of using them my feet would eventually get used to them but sadly enough I am quite disappointed in this specific style and now I cannot return them

Not a bad sandal if you do not mind stinky feet. The foot bed is an oasis for bacteria that puts off quite an odor. Ecco advised to wash the sandals with anti-bacteria soap and let air dry. If you wear this sandals often that is a lot of washing!

the material against my skin felt scratchy/irritating

Sizing has changed on these sandals and are smaller than my old ones.

Smelled like mildew!!!!!!

Very quick return on these shoes! Strong mildew odor right out of the box is enough reason to return! However, although length is perfect it is far too wide; not my first time for this ECCO Yucatán sandal size 38 and so I was confident it would work well for me. Certainly not as I expected. Size 38. So disappointed. Many thanks to Zappos for liberal return policy.

These are very cute but also very uncomfortable. The strap at the toes does not adjust and the fabric is very painful. Size 10.

sorry to say cushioning was extrememly poor style and fit was good but I could not get thru the day without cushioning.,

These sandals were supposed to be new but they are worn. There are obvious signs of wear as well as a few spots. I am greatly disappointed with Zappos and I am returning them.

I had tried on a pair at a shoe store and was certain that I would be able to get this shoe online. The one I tried on, was hard to find , so I went with this one - same brand, so just as good, right? Wrong! I require a really great arch support (what the other pair provided), but this must be a cheaper style/model. I could feel my arches collapsing and my legs turning in, even as I stood for the first time. I would not last an hour in these shoes. Back to the store I go. There is VALUE in buying from brick and mortar. All ECCOs are not created equal!

Fit and size was just fine. The materials and structure of the sandal were brutal on my feet and entire body at the end of the day. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that these lovely Ecco sandals would make me so miserable. My first day wearing them I thought that just maybe I was having a bad day. Sadly, after wearing them only four times total, I knew I made a big mistake buying them.

These sandals stink, literally. This is the second pair of the brown color, that within a week were unwearable because of the smell. This did not happen with a green pair I bought in the past. What’s the deal with this? Disappointed because I love the fit and now can’t wear them. I want a refund!

Normally wear a 5. Bought a size smaller, and it’s oversized. No smaller size available. First time issue with Zappos shoes.

I used to wear Ecco sport sandals for many years - a new pair every year (I am in my mid 60s). They were the best - note "were". Something changed in the construction. Even although I normally wear a wide if I went up half a size they were fine. I am in California and Ecco sandals were on my feet every day from May through September. First thing I noticed was burning on the soles of my feet (should point out I have 'Princess and the Pea feet'). When I compared the newer pair to an older I noticed the fabric of the insole had changed. Then I noticed I was getting corns on the outer edge of my feet. Finally came to realize it was the Ecco sandals. So for several years I no longer bought them. This year I decided to try them again in the hope that something had changed but they were uncomfortable for my foot the minute I put them on. We have an Ecco shoe store near where I live. Periodically I go in and ask if they are doing wide yet but no. If they did I would be buying them again in a heartbeat as they really were the best walking sandal.

I ordered 10m Yucatán Sport just as I did for 2 other pairs I wore out before ordering this one. The others were wonderful, comfortable right out of the box and I wore them for a number of years. This order in the same size were so narrow and so short that half my big toe and the toe next to it hung off the front of the shoe. What has happened - if the shoe sizes have changed that much at least change the suggested size for your customers. Or was it a manufacturing error?

Love these! They fit well, are comfy & appear to be well made. I think they will be long lasting.

I was tricked into thinking that all the Velcro straps would make the sandal fit. What didn't show in the picture was that the strap over the toes was only decorative and sewn on a stretchy band. Why would they put a Velcro strap as a DECORATION?!? The heel and ankle straps are adjustable, but not the toe strap. What were they thinking??? VERY disappointed with a cute sandal that simply won't work and am sending it back.

I would have loved to keep and wear these sandals but, although I wear a size 4 or 4 1/2 in SAS and Munro and David Tate, these were way too long for my little feet. Oh, how I wish they made them smaller or had them available in kids shoes that I could wear! Someone needs to make comfort sandals in small sizes. Years ago I got a pair of Ecco sandals in the kids' department at Nordstrom, but they are looking very worn (because I've worn them a lot!).

The cushioning on this shoe was quite good but there was an odor. I took this with me to the Glacier National Park expecting to wear it for my entire trip but it made my feet smell terrible.
