Really comfortable and cushiony sandal. Velcro straps very adjustable for the perfect fit (especially useful for me since my feet are narrow). Great support.

I never write reviews, but these are the Most comfortable sandal I have ever worn! It’s been almost a year of wear and the outer heal has worn down (I have high arches and my feet supinate). The upper part still looks like new so I have ignored the wearing down and this has led to recurrence of plantar fasciitis. I wish soles would last longer, but this seems to be the norm with all my shoes and sandals. I intend to buy again and as often as I need to prevent foot problems! Yes expensive, but to so is pain correction.

This is my seventh pair of ECCO Sport Yucatan Sandals in probably seven or so years. I wear them causally but most importantly they are without a doubt my go-to hiking shoes. I walk 2-4 miles nearly every day both on & off pavement. They are extremely comfortable, have a cushy bottom, fit securely with the adjustable straps, and have awesome traction even in wet conditions. If they get wet, they dry quickly. Last fall, these were my hiking shoes of choice to get to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, hike trails at the bottom while staying at Phantom Ranch, and then hike back out. Yes, I wore sandals to hike the Grand Canyon and don't regret it for one moment. I also clean them in the clothes washer with laundry detergent and let them air dry. This works great. My Ecco sandals have been on many trails and many city streets. Highly recommend.

I wear a size 12 narrow and often have to buy men's shoes, which are usually too wide, so I was really happy to find these Yucatans in a Women's size 12- 12.5 (Euro 43). The many adjustable straps, accommodate a variety of widths - Even my AAA width. I have flat feet and the arch support is excellent. I buy a new pair of these sandals every year. They are sturdy enough for easy trail hikes, light weight for city walks and stylish enough to wear with some skirts and dresses. I put shoe inserts on the foot bed and attach them with a roll of packing tape under the heel. This way I can remove the inserts and wash them, keeping the sandals fresh. The quality of these sandals has remained excellent over the many years I have worn them.

My Ecco sandals have been on trails in Ohiopyle in Pennsylvania (LHHT), Play Del Carmen in Mexico, many trails in Missouri & Illinois, Carson National Forest in Tahoe, Jemez Forest near Albquerque, the Santa Fe National Forest, many city streets, and other places not coming to mind right now. Highly recommend these shoes.

Oh so comfortable......right out of the box! No breaking in for these fantastic hiking sandals. I went w these shoes based on all the great reviews and was not disappointed. Took them on an 8 mile hike the first day and felt great. LOVE THEM....you won't go wrong.

I'm getting ready to buy my 3rd pair of black ones. I have brown,grey and red as well. Since I have been wearing these I have not had to have shots of cortisone in my foot. I have spent thousands of dollars on more feminine sandles to only give them away. I live in AZ so I wear them year round. I would recommend to anyone especially if you need to walk for long periods of time.

Super comfortable right out of the box......took them on an 8 mile hike w no blisters, soreness, nor any other issues. Great quality......will purchase again from ECCO!

Most comfortable sandal.

Fit was great, pink floral pattern so pretty. The black, however, looked atrocious on my pale skin. Wish this fabric had been on pale beige. This is the only reason for return.

VERY COMFORTABLE but I have a narrow foot and they ran wide. :( Had to return but Zappos ALWAYS makes it easy

I bought a pair like this 2 years ago at Von Maur. They are the best sandals ever! They even adjust to my small instep and heels plus provide perfect support and traction during my numerous summer walks. So, I decided to purchase a backup pair from Zappos even though plenty of life is left on my current 2 year old pair. Thanks Zappos!

This shoe cured my planters fascia issues. Completely. I own 6 pair and wear them every day.

Walked in these sandals all over Paris and Normandy. Had to stop wearing running shoes because they were so uncomfortable, but these sandals were amazing.

because this shoe allows the wearer to adjust it to fit so many areas of the foot, it takes several wearings to get everything adjusted perfectly. This is my third pair of this particular shoe. If it wasn't a great shoe, I would have never ordered the second pair. I can wear them all day, although I am forced to wear more " professional" footwear at times.

I typically avoid this type of shoe because I think they are just too clunky and not feminine at all. I am going to South America and need a shoe like this, so I broke down and purchased a pair. So glad I did! For this type of shoe, they are very, very pretty. I purchased Morillo/Port/Black, and the color is awesome. The fabric is smooth. You can adjust them at the toe, the mid-foot, and at the ankle. I have a slightly narrow foot, and ordered a M. I can adjust them to fit perfectly. I assume you could do the same if you had a slightly wide foot. They are extremely comfortable. In love!

I love these but they were too wide for my foot, even with the velcro. I'll have to return. Nice shoe though.

I really struggled with buying these because they are not as 'pretty and elegant' as I like to wear but I am going to be walking extensively on vacation and needed something comfortable. I have tried on many pairs of sandals and these are by FAR the most comfortable sandals ever!! OMG they really did construct them well. I have the blue, which I think goes with anything. I have worn them with jeans, skirts, shorts, etc. They are definitely pricey but I am going on my trip not worried about my feet. As for size, I normally take an 8.5 or a 9 and I tried on the 39 and 40. I ended up with a 39 because of the multiple straps you can adjust them. My toes do not hang over but there is no room to spare. Ultimately, I liked the fit better on the 39. You will not be disappointed with these shoes!! I promise. I did try several Teva sandals, but I did not feel they were better fitting. Slightly better looking, but not more comfortable. I could see where the thinner strap would irritate after a while on the Teva. Ecco my new favorite brand for walking

One I had foot surgery, I was forced to come to terms with the fact that I would be wearing athletic/comfort sandals in lieu of my platforms or wedges...but that isn't that relevant for my review. However, what is relevant is the fact that they are really comfortable & are designed to blend right in without calling too much attention to the fact that they're comfort-shoes & not intended to walk the runway! Overall I loved them right out of the box -- and I plan to wear them more and more over time, slowly upping the time since I have to keep in mind that I've worn mainly Nike cross trainers ever since I started walking after surgery. I love these sandals' Velcro, but keep in mind there are limitations to customer's ability to adjust the size. I'm usually size 6.5 but I'm very thin with tiny ankles & bony feet --- though I'm not really a "narrow" width, I need straps that can hold my foot tightly to shoe's footbed. This shoe just fits but if I were a touch smaller I'd have issues getting it sized correctly. The length is perfectly true to size & average feet should have zero issues adjusting Velcro straps. I'd highly recommend these. They're comfortable shoes that seem to be made very well. If they work out in the long term, u will surely be back for more!

perfectly comfortable walking sandal - easily adjusts, even the heel, especially if you have a narrow foot - fit is great for me. I am usually a 9 narrow and bought a 39 - perfect and I love the color - atmosphere white/black.Has very comfortable arch support

Keeper for sure! Wow! Good styling, good comfort, and good quality. A similar version, Cheja which I ordered in beige at the same time, does not have the refined style. The increased comfort in the Yucatan is apparent. Treat yourself and spend the extra $30.00 for this super shoe!

I read all the reviews. Here's my thoughts: the sandal was perfectly sized for me, but the best part was that I recently wore them all over Montreal. We must have walked at least 5-7 miles a day. They were outstanding! I tried to wear a pair of my Jambus, but these Eccos were what I changed back into. Thanks Zappos, for your kind service.
