I was cured of plantar fasciitis a couple of years ago and have "revamped" my shoe wardrobe...I only wear shoes with good arch support now. I have custom orthotics but it's tough to use them in sandals. Was looking for a real walking sandal for touring Europe this summer. Ecco has a good reputation for quality, and with the overwhelmingly positive reviews I decided to give these a try. This shoe is incredible. Right out of the box I was able to wear them all day with absolutely no discomfort of any kind. No pinching, no rubbing, no hotspots, no pain! They're extremely supportive and holds the foot securely. I am impressed that every part of the shoe that touches your skin is lined and padded with a soft material. The straps are very adjustable to customize the fit. I have worn them a lot and am seriously considering getting a second pair! As others have remarked, this style of sandal is not the most "fashionable," but it does come in some great color combos I haven't seen in similar styles from other manufacturers. I got the white/flower print which is cute and unexpected. What a joy to have a pair of sandals that I can walk in all day long, and still have nice cool feet!

Great fit and very comfortable. The white on the soles looked terrible!!! I took a black marker and covered all of the white that was visible with black. They look great now.

Love this sandal. Bought my first pair several years ago. When this one wears out I will buy again. Great for walking, great support. Very comfortable, even with bunions

Was looking for a true sport sandal with good arch support (used to have plantar fasciitis which has since resolved). I liked the fact that this style came in a wide variety of colors, and even some prints. The favorable reviews encouraged me to buy a pair. I wear a size 8 US shoe so I got the size 39. My foot is average width, no other issues. I wore them today at home to “break them in,” and as I was doing housework all day they got a good workout. The sandals are incredibly comfortable and fit perfectly, love the three-way adjustable straps. I also appreciate that every contact point of the shoe is covered with a soft fabric, I experienced no chafing or rough spots whatsoever. The arch support is excellent. I bought the white flower print, very pretty, and reasonably attractive for this type of footwear. I plan to wear these sandals to sightsee in Europe next month, where it will be quite hot, so I am really happy I have a pair of cool and comfortable sandals that will allow me to do a lot of walking in comfort. Worth every penny.

I did the DEFINITIVE size comparison on these wonderful sandals/sport shoes! I am a perfect size 9.5-10. So, because these only come in 9-9.5 OR 10-10.5, I ordered one of each. I also ordered in two colors. I ordered the flowery pink toned ones and the iridescent dark ones. I would highly recommend you order the down size ones. The 9-9.5 fit better then going to the size i actually am plus the half. I hope I am being clear here. I also favor the lighter ones as the iridescent ones are really pretty and VERY dark, but the lighter color ones are more all season and definitely summer. Again, if you are an in between size like I am, order down the half size, not up. Hope this helps! These are phenomenally comfortable by the way. I do my exercise walking in them with zero foot pain. Everything else hurts but my feet can go on and on! :-) Thanks Zappos! Only Zappos would let me do this comparison sizing without guilt!

These sandals are comfortable and attractive, with just the right balance of support and sophistication. The floral design is fun and adds a level of versatility beyond plain white.

I love this ECCO Yucatán sandal. This is my 4th or 5th pair over the last few years, thankfully it is still available. Zappos recommended size 39 but I ordered 38 as always in this shoe. I don’t like extra shoe sticking out in front or back. 38 just right, toe and heel comfortably in foot bed. When this sandal is past it’s ‘outside’ usefulness, I carefully scissor off the heel straps and use the shoes for around-the-house and yard. I have a thin foot and the three Velcro straps are perfect. The arch is in the perfect place for my foot The strap up high over the arch is perfectly placed and very secure. An all around great shoe! Thank you, Zappos, for sticking with me, as I am hard to fit. The free shipping and return can’t be beat.

I bought my first pair many years ago and wanted another to make sure I would always be able to wear these very comfortable sandals, good for all kinds of walking. The second pair, however are cut narrower than the first and are so uncomfortable that I get a blister on the side of my big toe. The width cannot be adjusted to allow an OK fit. Really disappointed!

This sandal style is my regular sandal because of its comfort and excellent foot support--BUT this one, instead of being a functional everyday sort of sandal, this one is covered with flowers! a flower garden to wear! It is absolutely delightful for summer and I am loving it!!! Thanks to the person who designed it!!

I have weird feet. My heel is narrow and the toe part is medium width. I had to order the wide width in these because although the toe strap is adjustable the fabric underneath was putting pressure on my toes which are extremely sensitive. Comes with old age I guess.

I love these sandals, but then Ecco rocks. These are cute and extremely comfortable. I like that they are adjustable. I get a lot of compliments.

I purchased two pair, the titanium and white/flower print in the Ecco Yucatan sandal. I like them both. The flower print is particulary cute. A very comfortable walking sandal with good support. For me they were comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 9 to 9 1/2 women's size in most shoes. Originally I ordered these in size 40. My toe came right to the front edge of the sandal which I did not like. I reordered the size 41 and it is perfect. Just the right amount of breathing room for my foot. If your in doubt about the size, I suggested going to the larger size first. Last year I purchased the ECCO Offroad Lite Cheja Sandal. Looks like the Yucatan, but does not have the same degree of support. I definitely prefer the Yucatan. Last year I wore the Cheja 5-10 miles per day on a 2 week vacation. While it was okay, I wanted something with more support and the Yucatan fits the bill.

Very comfortable, with plenty of support. I think I'll be wearing these every day this summer!

Ecco, is just to short for me. I love the shoe, but must return.

Zappos is a wonderful place to buy shoes because of the return policy. These ecco sandals are really comfortable. They hold the foot securely and are wide enough in the toe strap to accommodate my old feet. The color is beautiful. They are sporty but still pretty enough to wear for other occasions. I ordered two pair. One brown and black, and one blue and gray. Love them.

This is my second pair. I bought them primarily for travelling, because I can walk for hours in complete comfort. They provide excellent support whether walking on cobblestoned streets in Europe or on a walk in the woods or hiking through a mall on a shopping spree! Getting them wet isn’t a problem, either. In short, I love these sandals.

This Ecco Sandal is rugged , tough plus they can be worn while at dinner to the lodge or resort with a Skort , shorts or trousers and a sweater.

These sandals are very, very comfortable right out of the box. There was no breaking in period and I have had multiple foot and toe surgeries. I need support, but not squishy. I need arch support, but not a lot. I need comfort! These fit every criteria I have. I use them for my daily 2 mile walks without any problem. The straps are in perfect spots and adjust easily. Great buy.

These are outstanding shoes. HOWEVER if you have a moderately foot they don’t fit correctly. I was really hoping they would work because they are such high quality but they are just too narrow. I normally wear a 7w in new balance sneakers and a regular in 37 birkenstocks. These are much higher quality than teva or keen in my opinion because of the neoprene liner that prevents any strap rubbing. The search continues.

Great sandal for walking and hiking. I had my current pair for 8 years and they still look great, even after hundreds of miles on them ! Very comfortable for my achy feet. I have many foot issues after 7 surgeries, and this is the only sandal I can walk in for miles and not have pain. They are so worth the money. I’m going to buy a new pair, for the heel is starting to wear down and am excited to see all the new cute color choices. They are not a dressy sandal by any means, but if you need a good sandal for serious walking then these are it!!

I bought these for a trip to Europe. I didn't have much time to break them in. When I first tried them on, I was worried that the top strap was a bit tight. My concern was unwarranted as I wore these sandals every day for two weeks, walking in very hot conditions, and had absolutely no trouble with my feet. The investment is worth every penny. I usually like to wear something more fashionable but I found that when I looked around in Europe, these were very similar to the styles the locals were wearing. Comfort first!

Love these, (these are my 4th pair), but be sure to size up if your feet are getting wider with age!

I have worn the Ecco Yucatán for years and years. My feet are completely flat and the sandal gives me the support I experience with an orthotic in my closed toe shoes. Since I wear the sandal 9 months out of the year, with all my clothing styles I have 9-10 different colors from Gold to basic black. The Ecco sandal allows me to walk further than any other sandal I’ve worn.

I like these. Fit well and are comfortable. Would buy again.
