The toe box on these sandals was way too small for me. My toes were squished together and my neuroma was hurting. It did not matter that the strap was adjustable. It seems to me that sandals are made too narrow lately and I have been having a difficult time finding a pair of comfortable sandals even though I do not have a wide foot. I will be returning these and will try another brand.

Disappointing. I bought these sandals after two months of research and reading reviews. I really had high hopes for these. I got them for a trip to Italy. I wore them for three weeks before my trip and thought they were comfortable. I tested them while going shopping and for short walks on concrete sidewalks. The Pros: There are three straps that can be adjusted for a custom fit and loosened as your feet swell from walking. There is a neoprene lining under the straps to prevent the straps from chafing your foot. The Cons: Ouch! The footbed of the shoe is hard. It was just not effective for standing around in museums on marble floors and walking on cobblestones. After about an hour and a half I would be in pain. I tried using gel insoles (that looked tacky, but I was desperate) and that helped a little bit. But my foot moved too much in the shoe and wore the gel insoles out. My feet moved in the shoes even when I had the straps tightened. My toes rubbed against the footbed. I developed blisters on the bottoms of my largest and smallest toes on both feet. I compensated with band-aids and socks, but wearing socks defeated the cooling function of a sandal. This is a "sporty" look. It will not go with anything but a very casual outfit. Conclusion:On my last trip I took a cheap pair of Velcro fastened sneakers from Wal-Mart and added Dr. Scholl's gel insoles. I did the same amount of walking in the same environment. Those cheap shoes performed much better than these more expensive sandals. If I could return these sandals, I would.

I bought these when they first came out and they were perfect so I ordered more pairs. Was disappointed when they were no longer available and happy when they returned BUT they are not the same. They feel top-heavy when I walk, are a bit longer, and the arches are in the wrong place. They are no longer comfortable for me (despite the recent positive reviews) and I feel like disposing of them. Sadly, a former Yucatan enthusiast.
