The initial reason for purchasing from Zappos was their commitment to pay return shipping. This is especially important with shoes. My sandals have not had to be returned because they meet my expectations and I am very satisfied.

Have a pair of Birks I bought two years ago - which I absolutely love. Wanted to get another pair in another color. Bought my first pair while experiencing plantar fasciitis for the first time. Have not had any trouble with my feet since. Intend to continue wearing Birks forever. For a medium width foot in USA shoes, I found the narrow in Birks fit me perfect. Usually wear a size 9 and found the 8-8.5 in Birks was my size.

I've been wearing Arizonas for years; they fit my feet extremely well, and tend to last a long time with proper care (don't make a habit of getting them soaking wet, and put a fresh coat of silicone dressing on the cork once in awhile to prevent cracking). This is the first pair I've had with the Birko-Flor straps, and they seemed to stretch more during break-in than the leather ones do. I had to tighten the buckles twice during the first couple weeks of wear.

I purchased the Birkenstock Arizona (Birko-Flor) for my husband. He is very happy with the comfort and fit. He didn't need breaking in time at all. We will buy Birkenstock (Birko-Flor) again in the future. We think that the Zappos service is excellent.

I have owned Birkenstock Arizona sandals for years and years. I cannot count the number of pairs that I thoroughly wore out. A very good sandal. I will never buy any other.

The best sandal for me to wear on a daily basis. I have owned a brown and black pair of Birkenstocks for 12 years and just now decided to replace them. I have never had the soles refinished, but, if I would have, there would be no need to buy new sandals. The buckles and straps are in perfect shape. The rubber sole will wear down after years of use. These are a classic sandal and very comfortable to wear. I will continue to wear the older sandals, but, wear the new ones at certain times.

Bought these for my son. He says they are super comfortable. But I already new that! I've been wearing Birks forever. Only issue is that I bought him 11s (his regular size) but they seemed too big. He loves them anyway.

I have troublesome feet with high arches, advanced arthritis, and a tendency to get plantar fasciitis. These shoes have made it possible for me to take walks again. They feel as though they were made for me, and the adjustable straps allow me to personalize the fit that much more. I don't miss the leather in the uppers--in fact, these are as soft as leather. I wear a US size 8 and found the 37 to be the perfect fit, so the sizing chart does seem a little bit off.

If you don't already have a pair of Birkenstocks you should stop reading this review and buy a pair right now. Still reading? Okay, well then I guess you should know that I've owned multiple pairs of Birkenstocks over the years and I'll continue to buy them. Why? Because I like the way they look, love how comfortable they are, how durable they are and this time how awesome Zappos was in handling my order. After ordering one day, they bumped my shipping to overnight and I got my new sandals the very next morning. Birkenstocks and Zappos are awesome!

Fit is perfect. Inside foot liner is suede, just FYI, but the top is manmade but still feels incredibly comfortable, flexible, and cool.

I ordered my Birkenstocks from Zappos and received them the next day. I have been wearing them daily since and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. Zappos was easy to order from and getting my shoes the next day was great!

I have always had trouble wearing sandals or flip flops. Specifically, most sandals or flip flops give me plantar fasciitis if I wear them for an extended period of time. Birkenstock shoes do not do so. In fact, my Birkenstock shoes are way more comfortable than wearing shoes. The only complaint I have is that the toe bar on my left sandal was a bit uncomfortable at first, however, I read that you can take a hammer and pound it down a bit. I did so and now it feels great. In short, I really enjoy these sandals and highly recommend them. One other note, even if you wear standard width shoes, you may be a narrow in Birkenstock shoes (that was the case for me). Also, you also may want to try a slightly smaller size in Birkenstock shoes than you wear in regular shoes. I wear 10.5 running shoes but feel best in the Birkenstock size that corresponds for size 9-9.5 feet.

The best period! Why spend the extra money for the leather straps? These synthetic straps are great and I don't even feel the difference between the leather and these, except for the extra money I saved buying this model. I will never pay extra for the leather straps again! Wear them out til they stink and buy another pair from Zappos. Thank you Zappos, I love you guys and Galsalso. I love the new television commercials!

Great product and typical of Birkenstock. I replaced a pair of Arizona shoes with real leather uppers with this purchase. The natural leather feels better but the price was worth the subtle difference.

Exactly what you would expect from a Birkenstock product. Well-made, supportive, and attractive.

I love the Birkenstock Arizona\'s I recently purchased. They are very comfortable and arch support in just the right place. Zappos was a great place to shop with wonderful service and prompt delivery.

I just received these sandals by Merrell today and once I put them on, it was almost like being barefooted, wow! Such comfort for my difficult feet to fit. Sometimes I win and sometimes not. But this time I hit the jack pot with these ever so comfortable sandals. Perfect size, great tan color and the design suits all types of clothing from sportswear to dresses.

I was so excited to get these shoes because I have plantar faciitis and other reviewers have said it helped them. They were way to big - I normally take a 6.5-7 and I ordered a 37 (which says size 6) and they were huge. I am returning them and am bummed that they don't have a smaller size in stock.

These shoes are very comfortable, very well made and fantastically built. When I'm not at a formal occasion or running I'll be wearing them. The one downside is that the tread doesn't have great grip so in rain or ice it's easy to slip.

There isn’t much to say other than my Birkenstocks are GREAT. They have great arch support. I had to replace a pair that "went missing" while at the pool on first day of a 10 day cruise. Had to replace them with a cheap pair of flip flops that killed my feet.

These are super comfy Birkenstock shoes with great arch support. I got them to wear around the house to help my plantar fasciitis.

Quality excellent, however, sized much larger than expected. Would recommend at least 1/2 size smaller than needed. For example, my daughter wears between a 7 1/2 and an 8 1/2 and the 8 was way too big. Will need to exchange.

I have been wearing these for years. Recently a younger friend told me she thought it was so cool that I don't care that these are "out of style". Then she asked for a pair for her wedding gift because she loves them so much. Ha! She is getting this little pair this New Year's Eve for her wedding gift. The husband to be is getting his own bottle of Crown Royal. Happiness everywhere!
