These sandals are great! I bought them for my daughters, taking advantage that they are popular now. They wear them everywhere, especially after a night of high heels they find them to be a spa for their feet, a physiotherapy if you will. And they look great!

I've been wearing these Birks for many years; they are the most comfortable sandals this guy with flat feet has ever worn. They even serve as slippers in the winter.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock sandals and I like them a lot. I was tempted to go with a 1/2 size larger but decided to go with my exact size and glad I did.

Love these! Super comfy. I recommend sizing down like others mentioned. I usually fit between a size 7 1/2-8 and ordered the 38. They fit me perfectly and I have really long toenails.

I got these shoes because I heard it helped with plantar fasciitis. You really need to break them in before going on a whole day wearing these shoes. I started off by wearing these in the house (it was too cold to wear outside anyway!) and as the weather got warmer, i started off by wearing them to the store, then to the park, and then managed to finally break them in to wear it everywhere (i live in new york). overall, i think the arches really help me walk better but be warned-- they hurt like hell when you first wear them

I am so pleased with these. If you are on the fence about the faux leather, the Birko Flor seems of good quality and feels good, like new unbroken in leather. I am replacing a suede version that I wore for 20 some years, even resoled, they do not last forever. Pleased to feel these are supportive shoes that also tell me my others were very much past their prime.

Finally a Birkenstock in a narrow! As most Birkenstock's this shoe has great arch support. Thick leather adjustable straps, and now in a narrow size. I can wear a medium shoe (not a Birkenstock) therefore I do not always need a narrow shoe, but these Birkenstocks fit my foot perfectly. This is my second pair.

I am a huge fan of Birkenstocks. I have a slightly wide foot and the regular Birks have always been great. I wear a men's 10 in most shoes/sandals, sometimes a 9.5, and the Birk 42 fits ideally.

I love my new Birkenstocks, definitely I'd have liked the leather upper but the extra cost seemed like a little bit too much for it.

They are Birks - I knew what I was getting. They are super comfortable, you're walking on cork! I got the wrong size first and Zappos paid for the return shipping!! Couldn't believe it!

These were for my husband. He hasn't worn any sandals other than "shower" sandals for when at campgrounds or quick slide-ons that aren't too pretty. He enjoyed them. They do take a bit of a break in. He has wide feet, the regulars were a very good fit. He was debating on the 11 or 10, he is usually about 10 1/2, we went 11 and reordered the 10 in exchange. He has fairly flat feet and the arch support took some adjusting I think, but he didn't complain. He wore with socks through airport security- so much easier than tennis shoes!

This is my fourth purchase of Birkenstocks sandals. I wear the sandals everywhere, indoors and out. I prefer the standard footbed, which takes about a week to break in. This product works great for my planter fasciitis. The sizes run larger for me, I wear a size 10 US, but wear 42 continental. I highly recommend Birkenstocks for individuals who need firm support for foot disorders.

I bought these for my husband as a gift. He loves the classic black and the Birkenstock comfort. He has owned several pairs in the past and wears only the Birkenstock Arizona so I knew this was the perfect gift! He was very pleased with his new sandals!

Although I got these as a gift, I have had a pair for a long time and I love them! In fact, I don't wear anything else! Even with no strap across the heel, I've never "walked" out of them. And best of all they have a real arch support, something most other shoes only pretend to have. I dearly love my "Birkis"!

I recently bought my son a pair of Birkenstock sandals. Fortunately, I did not have to return them because the fit was perfect. I ordered from Zappos because had they not fit, or if there was any kind of issue, I could return them AT NO COST TO ME! Zappos is awesome!

Love the feel of this shoe. Very good support in the cold weather I wear them around the house instead of slippers. It really does fit a narrow foot. Color a little weirder than pictured - purple really - but it's OK.

Great shoes. I loved them for myself, but my little sister didn't like them so I am having to return them and give her cash. She is the only person who wouldn't take up a free offer on some Birks!

I have a short little story to tell. I was at Rehoboth Beach with my sister, niece and nephew. everyone wanted to go walk everywhere, I didn't have proper shoes on so my niece said, here Aunt Dar wear these. They were too big but really comfortable, needless to say they were Birkenstocks, so when I got home I ordered a pair and I love them. Thanks to my Natalie for telling me about them! Good job.

I have these in another color so I knew the size I needed. But If they didn't fit, Zappos pays to have them picked up and return. It is a win/win! These shoes are so comfy!

I've worn Birks for 40 years and would never wear another type of sandal. The service from Zappos was very good. Fast, courteous and effective. And a real human touch -- very rare these days.

I initially ordered the regular width, but it turned out to be wider than I thought. I then ordered the narrow width. It did appear slightly narrow for my feet. However, after a while the Birks seemed to have adjusted themselves to fit my feet well.

Ordered these for my husband and much cheaper than what's available in local stores. Great for anyone with plantar fasciitis.

The sandals are wonderful. I have worn Birkenstocks for about 18 years and have not had a complaint about them at all. Comfort fit the moment I put them on. I do have a comment about Zappos! We are all human and errors occur but here is my story: I purchased two pairs of Birks. When they arrived (within a couple of days) I was really surprised when one pair was for a little girl! Shiny silver and lime green aren't my style! I called Zappos! Spoke to the most kind person who apologized and explained how to return. He was most gracious. I received the correct pair the next day! I am impressed. Good job, Zappos! And congratulations on your perfect customer service. It is a delight to work with a company like yours. Thank you.
