Great sandal for my 12 year old son. He loves it says it comfortable and fashionable.

I bought these for my husband and he is super picky about shoes. He LOVES them! They are very 'hippie' looking, but he scuffs around everywhere in them and cannot believe the comfort. He said he will never go back to any other kind of sandals.

I normally wear a 5 1/2. I ordered a size smaller than suggested, and they are a perfect fit. I am a teacher, so I am on my feet most of the day. I decided on the soft footbed and they feel great. They didn’t require any breaking in. Perfect shoe for those with foot problems!

Loved them, wore them all the time until I required a sandal that had big toe protection.

Love these shoes! A lot of sandals don’t offer any arch support but these do. These sandals may be a little uncomfortable the first few times they are worn, but break in easily. The synthetic uppers look to be good quality and look very much like real leather (although I wish leather/suede had been available in my size and color choice). Although Birkenstocks are a bit expensive for a sandal, I find them to be worth the cost. They are well-made, wear well, and can be repaired.

Very comfortable but take awhile to break in.

These sandals are very popular in our house and I know they’ll last for years to come.

Hubby was thrilled that I found him Birks in a narrow width. He's worn the med width in the past but they were always too big. Couldn't be happier to have found the narrow option!

Great looking sandals and high quality, but run VERY large. I'd estimate two sizes larger than your regular size. Returning and buying a pair two sizes smaller.

Thought they might not fit my husband's wide foot but the medium width was just fine. This is his third pair of this style. They last him for years and he wears them literally until they're falling apart.

I followed the suggestions of a number of customers and ordered a size smaller (8 1/2 Narrow). It was too short. I now wear a 9, and that's what I should have ordered. The shoe was too loose for me, even when I tightened the straps as much as I could. The fault lies in my very narrow heel and instep. I also found the sandal hard--there's no cushion. My feet are bony, so I really need cushioning. A friend told me the shoe does soften and conform to your foot, but I'm afraid to try.

This is my favorite pair of shoes of all time. I have lived in these for the past 6 months. I have a typical size 7 foot and the 38 narrow fits perfectly. Great for my plantar fasciitis. I will be buying more in the future.

I love Birkenstock sandals! I am addicted to purchasing them. I ALWAYS turn to Zappos to but because they're simply the best! They have the best prices, fast shipping and super easy returns/exchanges!!

Super comfortable and go with anything! I usually wear a 10 (normal width) and had to buy an 11 (narrow width) in these. Takes a few days of wear to shape comfortably to foot, but once they do they're super comfy. Zappos was quick and helpful when swapping to proper size.

I was initially against the birkoflor because not wasn't authentic. The material though is soft and there's no break in period. I've had these about a year and have loved them Evey time I wear them. I can wear them with pretty much anything. I always have to buy wide widths and these worked great, although not all Birkenstocks have the same base even if they are marked the same width, like the Mayari runs smaller than these.

These are my husbands first pair of Birks. Bought them for an upcoming trip to Europe with lots of walking. Took a couple weeks to break in but now he loves them. For him they ran true to size.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and I've been been wearing them almost exclusively for a few weeks now. They weren't super comfortable initially but now that they are broken in I see why they remain so popular. I'm in my third trimester and my feet swell throughout the day, my feet feel comfy and not at all restricted in these sandals. I've walked miles in them and my feet aren't done for by the end of the day, I really appreciate the arch support now that I'm used to it, before this I wore mostly minimal shoes with no support. I'm a 7-7.5 in shoes and don't have wide feet so I ordered a 37 narrow. Even with my pregnancy swelling my sandals feel roomy and comfy. I got a cork sealer from amazon to protect my sandals and so far they still look brand new. I will definitely order more pairs in the future. The quality is absolutely worth the price.

I really like these shoes. I think they look great and I love that they aren't leather. I ordered the narrow and I am very glad I did. The regular footbed would have been far too large, my friend ordered the same shoe at the same time with the regular footbed so I had the opportunity to try it on as well. Her foot is a little wider so she liked it but for me it would have been far too wide. She did have to punch new holes into the straps on hers to tighten them enough.

I love these shoes! I wish they were work appropriate because I never want to take them off. I even keep them in my car so I can change as soon as I get off work. I am a size 8 and I ended up getting a size 38 Narrow, the 39's were almost an inch too big. I dont have particularly narrow feet, but these felt most comfortable to me. The wides were not very form fitting. I think if you were to order these I would try them on in a store before ordering through Zappos, just to make sure you get the right width and size. However, if you choose to order them online, Zappos made the return quick and painless, and I had the size I needed in a blink. My go to shoe!

Love the sandals but not the regular width. I tried the arizonas on at Nordstrom and they looked great. They must have been the narrow version because these felt so wide and looked way different to me. Sending back and getting the narrow. Zappos makes it so easy to return so no problem!
