These were recommended by my foot Doctor when I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, I wear them around the house, too much snow outside!

these were recommended by my Foot Doctor because I have Plantar Facitius(spelling??), they are worth every penny, I am able to walk with so much less pain and every day is better.glad i got them.

I had to reorder a smaller size for my son because Birkenstocks tend to be larger than US sizes, but there is nothing more comfortable. Zappos is incredible with deliveries! My orders took only two days to arrive...and I received immediate credit for my return once I dropped it at UPS. I love shopping with Zappos.

The matte black material, both in the straps and the buckles, is really elegant. It makes the sandal feel a bit dressier and less grungy. (Purchased for my husband -- he loves them!)

Great sandals! However, make sure you are willing to break them in. It's been almost a month for me, and they aren't as comfortable yet. Also, I recommend going in the Birkenstock website and doing the sizing template to figure out the right fit. I'm originally a size 7.5 (US) and was lucky to try it on in a local store, but 38 (converted by Birkenstock) was way too big. So, I ordered 37 from Zappos, and they fit perfectly! Thank you Zappos for also having the different sizes, including widths, available! Additionally, my item came way sooner than anticipated, and I'm from Guam, where packages are expected to be a few days delayed :)

Size and fit was perfect, they are very heavy shoes but extremely comfortable.

I recently bought my third pair. I bought the standard size which was too wide for my only slightly wide feet and half size too big. But my husband wears those ones now. I got the right size and wore them OUT. They are my favorite sandal. After two years of heavy wear, the soles gave out. I'm so glad I bought another pair.

Have not yet had a chnace to wear these enough to feel like I can give a complete assessment of these, but so far, so good. If you have had Birks before, you pretty much know what you are getting.

Stylish and comfortable -- can't go wrong with Birkenstock. Though they take a little bit of time to break in, once you do you cant beat this shoe. Great value for the price.

I got a pair of Birkenstock’s because everyone raves about them and my orthopedic Dr. told me I need to start wearing shoes with proper arch support due to some foot pain I’ve been having. They’re very comfortable. Most importantly, the have the arch support I need. Plus they are wide enough for my wide foot, which is hard for me to find in such a small size. I wish Birkenstock would offer more shoes in a size 35 regular width.

I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for years. I have rheumatoid arthritis and now that I’m older, bunions. First pair I owned were Arizona’s, which I continue to purchase. In the years since I’ve bought at least one or two other styles to wear during summer months. These shoes are what has kept my bunions from getting worse over the past decade. So, a couple of years ago I purchased a pair for my husband, since he’d been complaining of plantar fasciitis. This last pair I purchased was for him because he’s now an avid fan too. Best. Shoes. Ever!!!!

My husband really likes these sandals. He says they are very comfortable and he likes the look of them.

I have about a dozen pairs of Birkenstocks in various styles. My favorite pair: black Birko-Flor Arizona sandals. Birko-Flor is "fake" leather that is soft and smooth, needs no breaking in time, and cleans easily with a damp cloth. My first pair took a couple of weeks to feel comfortable as my feet needed to adjust to the Birk's aggressive arch support and day by day the cork footbed softened and shaped itself to my feet. The second pair felt good after just a few days of wear because my feet have fully adjusted to the Birks. Before getting Birks I was walking in Rockport and Nike shoes and my feet, ankles and knees hurt after walking around the block. I thought pain after walking was normal at age 70. After a year of wearing Birks sandals 12 to 16 hours a day, I can walk four or five miles a day with zero pain. I bought Birkenstock boots to wear on those few Texas days that are too cold for sandals.

I love these shoes. They give you great, original Birkenstock arch support, the Birko-Flor material is stylish, yet durable and washable. These are my go to shoes in summer, and I wear them around the house in winter as well.

So excited for these shoes! I've recently started having foot problems and many people have suggested Birkenstocks. I originally bought 2 different styles before deciding on the Arizona. I didn't have a problem with breaking them in, fit well with my foot and are very comfortable for long periods. I returned the other 2 styles and Zappos customer service was amazing. Happy with my new shoes and will definitely buy from Zappos again!

I've had these sandals for two summers now, and they are in great shape. Yes, you pay a lot for a pair of sandals, but they really do hold up, they really last. My feet do get tired after wearing them all day, but I believe this to be more a result of being on my feet all day and not due to any flaw in the design of the shoe. I like how the footbed provides some arch support, most sandals provide none and you notice it.

The shoe fit perfectly.
