Returned the first order size 8 down size to 7-7.5 and it was perfect fit!

I wear size 6-6.5 and 36 fits me perfect. Upper material is comfortable and my older birds in this material is holding up wonderfully.

New to Birkenstock shoes - so far so good. With hardwood floors and working from home now the norm, I found that my slippers just weren't cutting it for foot support. The shoes took some time to break-in, but I can see a difference with the new shoes with some calf and foot pain no longer present.

These shoes broke in very quickly. They feel a little loose, but that’s the style. The footbed fits but I have the straps on the last hole, so maybe I need fatter feet!

Birkenstock footwear is widely known for having sandals that will mold to the shape of your feet. This unique feature combined with adjustable straps is similar to having a custom-made sandal. In order to achieve a fit that molds to your feet, Birkenstock provides suggestions to gradually build up your wearing time. I purchased my first pair of Birkenstock Arizona sandals in August of 2019. I wore them approximately one month before I felt each footbed was molded to the shape of my foot. On average, I wear these sandals two to three times a week. I wear my Birkenstocks with casual attire or most commonly at the beach. A few advantages to owning the Birkenstock Arizona sandal include comfort, quality, and a simple, yet notable appearance. This sandal is very trendy and widely sold to all generations. In order to keep this sandal looking its best, it will require some extra care. This drawback may not appeal to all buyers. The manufacturer sells a kit which includes a brush, cork sealer, cleaner and repellent which helps prolong the life of the sandal. The kit is approximately $20 in addition to the sandal being $99.95 plus tax and shipping. The first pair was difficult to keep clean because I didn’t have the recommended products necessary to keep them looking their best. I purchased the kit for my second pair; applying the products greatly improved the appearance. The custom fit only comes after the cork footbed has conformed to the shape of your foot which takes time. Blisters may appear on your feet while you are in the process of breaking in the sandal. The manufacturer provides a conversion chart (EU to US) to determine what size you should consider. In my shopping experience for Birkenstock styles, I found the fit to be true to size. I would recommend the Birkenstock Arizona sandal because the custom fit is well worth the purchase price. This sandal will last many years instead of one or two seasons. I think it is one of the best sandals because of the long-lasting quality and comfort associated with the Birkenstock name.

Love the comfort and how they form to your feet after wear. I freak out a little every time there’s a chance I get them wet because of the cork footbed. Sizing is a bit tricky if you’re looking for a pair. I do have tiny wide feet and the adjustable traps make all the difference. Love my Birkies! This is my second pair. I’ve been using them for about a year. There’s no going back, they’re my go to shoe.

I'm a regular Birkenstock wearer so there was no surprise to the quality of these sandals. Breaking in my new pair and happy with the product. Hope you will be too!

I wasn't fond of the leather with a black buckle. I decided that I wanted something with snappy style. I love Birkenstocks!

I have very high arches and these work. The material is flexible but not floppy. I would buy again.

Bought these on the recommendation of a friend to help alleviate severe heel pain. These shoes helped within a few days. Initially they feel tight and a bit uncomfortable but within a few days they adjust to fit your foot and feel great. I hardly take them of now.

This is my first time purchasing Birkenstock’s and in my previous post I mentioned that I purchased a size 38 (7-7 1/2), which is true but, I forgot to mention I purchased narrow width. My left middle toe fit weird in the shoe (I’ve never had this happen before) and I decided to exchange for a size 39 (8-8 1/2) in narrow width. The size 39 fit great on my size 8 (true size 8) skinny, narrow feet. In the future, if I purchase another pair of Birkenstock’s, I will purchase a 39 in regular width. I think the narrow width is slightly short on the outer toe area. Thank you Zappos for the awesome customer service and for the super fast shipping!

Glad I ordered the narrow and sized down because they were perfect! I have skinny foot and am a size 8 so instead of 39 I got size 38Narrow and it was perfect!!!! I have a 38 reg. width in another color but these 38N are the ones for sure!

People kept saying in reviews to buy one size smaller, so I bought a size smaller and I felt like my toes were sticking out when I tried them on. I exchanged them for the size I usually wear (8 women's) and I felt way more comfortable walking. If you don't want an extra fitted shoe, I would recommend buying your normal size, width NARROW.

This is my 3rd pair. My others lasted about 8 years. Once I break them in I love them. They’re so comfy and worth the money.

Very comfortable sandals! I have a lot of problems with my metasarals and have no problem spending all day in these even right out of the box. I have seen mixed reviews on the sizing. I wear a 6 in almost everything but the 6 in these were almost a full inch too long. I'd recommend going 1 size down. Sizing is similar to Dansko clogs.

I was a little confused as to the sizing. I have worn Birkenstock’s before and always ordered a size 39. I wear a women’s USA size 9. When I received the 39’s they were much too large.I ended up ordering a size 37 and they were the correct size.

You can never go wrong with a good pair of Birkenstocks. I have planter fasciitis and these are a lifesaver in the summertime! Just a heads up to any new Birkenstock customers. It takes a while to break them in. Every spring my feet hurt a little bit while I wear them and break them in. But totally worth it in the end. So stick it out!

These shoes make you feel like you're walking on air. Soo comfy! I have pretty narrow feet but based on other reviews I decided to order the regular (instead of narrow) and glad that I did because they fit great. Zappos has really quick shipping and these arrived in a few days. Looking forward to getting lots of use out of them!

Ordered regular width and it was perfect (as medium)

I originally bought these for their legendary arch support, and wasn't disappointed; I wore them exclusively for a month or two last summer, and much of my foot pain went away. I bought these then in size 36, but think they may be too short, so recently bought the exact same Birks in size 37, which seem too long. A quandary! I'll hang onto them for a while while I decide. A local shoe store which is especially good at fitting told me about narrow Birks, as my feet swam in the regulars. You can always recognize a narrow by the little outlined foot emblem on the insole-if it's filled in, it's a narrow. If just an outline, it's a regular.

Can't go wrong with Birkenstock, I have a narrow heel and wear a size 9, so I always order a 40N and they fit great!

Had these in mocha and had to purchase in black for the upcoming spring and summer! Love these
