My husband and I were going on our first "Empty Nester" cruise which was going to involve swimming with dolphins, deep-sea helmet walking on the ocean floor, river-tubing and zip-lining. We needed water shoes that we could wear all day away from the ship while we went on our excursions. We each bought a pair of these shoes and they were perfect. They were so comfortable to walk in that we forgot about them. They protected our feet in the water and then were simply cool, comfortable walking shoes while shopping. I am extremely picky about comfortable shoes, so I ordered a half size larger for my husband and then I chose the man's size for myself, thinking they would be wider. I also got them a half-size bigger. Both shoes fit perfectly for us and we liked them with or without socks. I definitely would get them a half-size bigger. You can find cheaper water shoes, but these shoes are so comfortable that they could be worn all day for whatever came up. Since they were open sandals, they were cooler than the Propet walkers that I would normally have worn for walking. I am looking forward to wearing them when we go kayaking.

Love these! This is my first pair of Keen sandals, and I have no complaints. Very secure shoe that is great for any activity, wet or dry. There are a lot of mixed feelings on whether to size up or use your normal shoe size with Keen. I have pretty narrow feet and usually wear a size 8; however, I bumped it up to an 8.5 and they fit perfectly with no problems. I like the added toe protection so I can use them on rugged trails, something I could not do in other sport sandals.

I live in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and do a lot of walking on cobbled streets, up and down steep hills in tropical weather and often in heavy rain. My wife and I have been wearing Keens daily for years now and they are ideal for these conditions. I just received the venice sandals and they are a great improvement over the our old Keens. Lighter weight and a little more air and wiggle room, but still a snug and super comfortable fit. I am ordering another pair!

Insane comfort. One of the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I would wear them to work if I could and occasionally I sleep in them.

I bought these shoes as a gift for my husband. He was not at all convinced that he needed them or would like them. He absolutely loves them, and they have become his everyday summer shoe. They look good all the time, even after a day in the sand as they rinse off and dry quickly. They give him the support he needs and the comfort he desires. They break in immediately. Slip them on to walk the dog, go for a bike-ride, boating or for the beach. Today, while visiting Charleston, SC, they will make a trek to the ocean again.

Very comfortable - no problems with getting the strap on and off. I went on a 5m walk after I got the sandals and no problems with chafing. No break-in needed. Pebbles will get in under your feet and occasionally you'll have to take the sandal off to clear it out. So if that is of concern, then stick with shoes. Good arch support and overall cushioning. Walked on varied terrain: asphalt, sidewalk, dirt, rocky ground, and it handled it all without a problem.

I ordered the shoes for my husband as a gift and he loves them. If you haven't tried Keens... you must. Our whole family wears Keens everyday. Great comfort, airflow, and they last forever.
