Loved the look but they felt slippery in the foot bed and very loud flip flop sound. If the side straps were attached closer to your arch I feel they would have been more comfortable, just wouldn't stay on my feet unless I scuffed when I walked. Ran a bit large.

I loved the style and neutral color of this Clarks Bali. Unfortunately, the inside sole was very slippery and the side straps do not fall far enough down towards your heel to keep them safely on your feet. The shoe slips off very easily. For someone with any kind of balance or walking issues this is definitely not the footwear for them.

It looked better in the picture. The solid toe piece was too flat across the top of my toes and the rest of the sandal was too big.

To the point -- Bali has changed dramatically and these are a terrible "imitation" of the original, much-loved version. I have loved the Bali for years, and have owned 5 pairs since they came on the scene many years ago. I ordered these (black) to replace my original black ones. I should have skipped it based on the recent reviews. The soles, both top and bottom, are much different than the previous Balis. The material is much lighter and the foot bed feels more hard and "slippery" against the sole of your foot. And, as others have also mentioned, the outer sole is hard and also slippery, even on dry surfaces. I had wanted to use this pair for inside the house only, but they would be too dangerous to wear on our hardwood floors and especially the stairs. The uppers are also different, oddly stiff, and poorly sewn. The seams run all over the place and look like a beginner was using the machine. In a word, these are horrible. And they are going back. I guess I am done with Bali, and likely with Keen if all their foot beds are now like this. I used to love Keen, but these are terrible.

I was hopeful that I would like these given their great reviews but for me they were really uncomfortable and did not stay on my feet.

This is the 3rd pair of Bali's that I'm returning. On all pairs the left shoe is half size larger. I tried two different size 8s and now, my last ditch effort...I'm ordering a 7 1/2 to see if that fits.. Last chance.

Keen Bali - The sole doesn't grip on indoor tile and hardwood floors. They're probably OK as a strictly outside / cement / beach shoe, but indoors they're slippery and they tire my calves from the backsliding. Back they go.

This shoe just fit my feet in a weird way and they looked weird on my feet. The weird look was due primarily to the off-set rubber overlay from the sole to the toe. Very comfortable shoe, despite the weird fit and look.

I have been wearing Keen sandals for several years and I wear them year round, I can typically wear an 8½ in Keens. The Keen Bali is narrower than the classic Keen sandals, I ordered an 8½ Keen Bali and the footbed just fit my foot, but the straps were way too tight - the Bali does not offer any adjustments to the straps. I am returning the Bali pair and going back to the classic sandals. The Bali may work for women with dainty narrow feet. My feet are wider at the ball and my big toes hook up a bit, the classic sandals provide plenty of room for my toes. I am barefoot girl - and the classic Keen sandals make me feel like I am barefoot!

I found the upper material to be stiff and uncomfortable and the footbed to be stiff as well. The straps hit the top of the toes in a weird way. I will be returning.

I have one great pair of Keens that are my go to summer sandals. I was looking for a slip on to wear around the studio and these seemed perfect. I was so disappointed. They arrived unboxed...I though ok, let's save a tree, no prob. But then I saw imperfections in the base as though the material didn't fill out the mold. Putting them on the fit was awkward - I have a high arch and a small bump on the top of my foot, which caused the straps to fit too tightly. I also agree with other reviewers who found the fit at the front uncomfortable, as though the toe guard was at too steep an angle. More importantly, though, $70 was just too much money for a pair of shoes that felt like I could have purchased them at Rite Aid...the feel on the foot was cheap. The pair of Borns purchased in the same shipment, while not a wet shoe, are definitely a better shoe, even if they were slightly more expensive. I'll likely look for another pair of Keens.

I was hoping for a good around-the-house shoe for summer, but this isn't it. Without a back strap, it requires too much toe action to keep it in place, and it still made noisy floppy sounds with each step. It is going back. I also couldn't warm to the rubber toe look, which seemed to stand out more in person than in photos.

I love Keens but these were a big disappointment. Uncomfortable from the start, tried wearing them around the house as I really liked the style. Sadly that resulted in blisters on the top of my feet. I will be returning these.

I don't like the way the toe cover is off to the side. It covers my big toe but my other toes stick out from the straps so my toes are not comfortable.

I wear Keens sandals all the time but these were so tight over my instep that they rubbed the skin off my feet by the end of the day. Cute, but tight and painful. Not like the regular sandals at all except for the footbed, which was good.

I loved the look and quality of the Keen Bali...unfortunately my little toes would stick out through the side openings. I tried 2 different sizes hoping it would make a difference, but had to send both back.

These are exactly what I wanted but sadly the strap design pushes down on the top of my feet making it hard to get my foot in the shoe. I wore them once and it felt like they were not fitting correct and falling off. I love Keen and think I am going to get the ballerina flats to replace.

The ugliest shoes ever. I will return them. The comfort does not outweigh the sheer ugliness.

I love Keens! But this is the first pair of Keens that I am really disappointed with. Namely because the shoe has completely disintegrated and I just bought it at the start of the summer. The footbed and the sole have separated completely. I think I am going to ask for a refund. This has never happened with any of my other Keens.

Absolutely wore out my last pair of Keen St Barts leather slides (please bring these back in both Mens and Womens- not everyone likes wearing flip-flops!) and thought that these Bali slides in the taupe and lilac would be a good replacement, but I do not like the new sole. Yes, it's supportive, but somehow stiffer/harder on the heel shock absorption? There's not a lot of wiggle room in the front toe bed of this slide, and the lilac neoprene lining puckers up from underneath the straps (at the point where the five meet) in the most unattractive way - and I own an older pair of Bali's in black. This new pair looks very cheap. Keen, you've missed the mark- sadly had to return.

The toe protector is badly placed and the insole feels quite rough. Disappointing.

I wear between an 8 and 9 and was glad to see that this shoe had half sizes. But the shoe felt small. The design of the elastic did not really keep my foot on the shoe. Every time I walked on the carpet, it slapped. Plus I have a high arch and the elastic straps cut into my arch. I knew I could not wear this style. it was narrow, too.

I write this review with regret, as I've loved this style of Keens for years, and own several pair. That said, I will never purchase another pair of Keens by mail. If I can't try them on in person, I won't buy them. Their quality control has obviously gone downhill from previous years. This year's model (or last year, whichever this is) seems to run a full size smaller than in previous years. I've always worn a 9 in this style, but this shoe, the foot bed was too short, and the toe box too tight. Comfortable out of the box? Not likely. One arch was so high that it actually made my arch cramp (and I have high arches). The other was moderate. Very uneven in feel. What happened Keens? As for Zappos, I've ordered from them many times in the past, and would never hesitate to order again (I just need better luck with shoes). They make the shopping experience problem free.
