Too big. They were more comfortable than the traditional Converse shoes.

Cute sneakers. I don't find them the most comfortable. They run long so I had to buy them a 1/2 size smaller than I usually get, but they seem a bit narrow and not comfortable to wear for long periods. I'm hoping they stretch out. However, when I tried a 1/2 size up, they were way too long.

I really love the look of Converse All Stars. Despite memories of them not being the most comfortable shoes in high school I figured the leather might help. Unfortunately as earlier reviews stated the tongue is a bit too long and cuts into my foot/leg unless I were to wear higher socks, and I prefer the look with no show socks. Im normally a size 8.5, ordered a size 8 and could have gone down to a 7.5 for optimal fit, but because of the tongue issue I’m not going to order the smaller size. Sadly I’m still looking for a comfortable sneaker that looks similar. Thank you Zappos for such great service and return policy as usual!

The unisex sizing on these shoes is way off. A size 3 mens does NOT equal a size 5 for women. Another problem for me is that the tongue is very high on the foot and would probably give me blisters.

Bought these for my daughter for her Birthday and she said that they were uncomfortable, especially the tongue digging into her ankle. Very cute though.

These Converse Leather Oxfords fit okay, but the tongue is so long that it turns up onto the leg. I wanted to be able to wear the shoes without socks and was afraid that friction would rub my skin raw. Had to send them back.

Solid every day sneaker. Now after a year they are pretty beat up. Should hold up for another year or two.

Cute shoes, but the tongue is super long. Maybe if the shoes were fabric, the tongue might not be as annoying, but when made in leather, the tongue is stiff and cuts into my foot as I stand and walk. I can't imagine wearing these. Ouch!

I have been buying Chucks for years, so I'm not in the habit of criticizing a brand I know and love. I currently have 3 canvas pairs in my closet. I just purchased the same size in the white monochromatic leather in my "Chucks size." This one in that size feels a full size larger than my other ones. I held them up together and there was a noticeable size difference. Just hoping my next order another half size down will work. Are the leather ones sized differently, or has there been a change in the manufacturing process?

The size ran big, instead of my normal 7.5 women size, I went with 7 and still a bit roomy. This was my first attempt to wear the legendary Converse Chuck and boy were they super uncomfortable. I wasn't expecting it to have absolute no cushion support on the insole. On top of that, the tongue was so stiff and scratchy rubbing against the top of the feet. I was so disappointed because I really love the look. I googled around to see if it's just this pair but then apparently Converse is infamously known to be not really comfortable?! Well, I opted for a pair of Prada cap toe sneakers which have almost identical look and much more comfy.

Nice looking leather shoe and would be great for casual wear. Would not recommend for long time wear as there is no arch support at all. I followed Zappos guideline for women and ordered my regular size. The shoes are at least a full size to big. I returned them.

The only problem that I have had with this is that the sole came off in less than a year. I realized that the sole is not folded upward like in the picture. Instead, the sole disconnects at the bottom of the shoe and the band is wrapped around the sole which I felt like is the reason why it came off easily when the shoe still looks beautiful and the leather still doesn't feel broken into. There was no review area at Converse.com so here I am. Also, make sure you buy the shoes in a half size smaller so they will fit perfectly. The rubber tip is supposed to be spacious. This was my first Converse and I do not think this fits my feet and according to some reviews, some buy them at every year. That is not the durability that I am looking for.

These shoes are cool looking, love the leather but no be warned they are extremely uncomfortable. extremely. no arch support, feel really narrow (and I have a small foot) and just too many hard edges on the inside. recommend you find something else if you want a cool walking shoe.

I've been wearing KEEN sneakers the past year and love the look but they just don't hold up (and are now discontinued, love their sandals though) and ordered mono black converse, not as comfortable and I don't like the shiny black look and looks more like plastic than leather. I am returning them

Great looking shoe. definitely buy a full size smaller. I got a 10.5 and had to exchange for a 10...10 was STILL too big, so I had to go down to the 9.5.

Awesome look, but definitely not good for walking. I had been wearing these to work where I do a lot of walking, and the left shoe rubbed on my heel so bad that even after not wearing them for the past two weeks, my heel still has pain when wearing shoes with backs and very swollen. Did not seem to have a problem with the right shoe though? Very hesitant to wear again unless to dinner or a movie, where I will be mostly sitting!

Got these shoes with my girlfriend. Normally I wear between 10.5 and 11. I ordered this on a size 10.5 and they are way too big. My girlfriend is normally a size 7 and they were just unwearable. Too big. I'm guessing a whole size smaller would do. Other than that, well, they are your regular Converse, good looking shoe.

I really wanted to like these sneakers, because they are made in the US. However, the way it is made, it cut into my ankle, and gave me blisters. The shoe was not comfortable, and felt heavy and bulky. I had to return it, sad to say.

Everything was fine but the material on the front of the left shoe was not glued properly. This was a huge waste of my time and I cannot be dealing with defective products. If this occurs again I will be buying from different vendor.

The shoes fit great, and looked good minus arriving with some pretty large and obvious scuffs on the leather part of the shoes.

Casino Road Trip is not salmon, like the picture depicts. The shoes are a basic red.

I REALLY wanted to like these shoes - but the tongue of the shoe literally hit my leg (it was that long) and kept scratching my leg - seriously!

I used to like Converse Chuck Taylors. They used to hold up well and were comfortable. Recently I have had nothing but disappointing experiences with them. These shoes look nice, but their construction quality leaves much to be desired. I purchased these as a comfortable work appropriate shoe, but I have had these shoes for just about 2 months and I may need to replace them soon. Unlike their canvas counterparts, these shoes have zero give to them. You can't really expect arch support with chucks so I usually use an insole that has arch support and that nifty gel cushioning; never had a problem with any canvas Chucks (lace up or slip-on); however, in these shoes, there is no space for said insole. If I tried to use one, the shoes were super tight on my feet. When I got these shoes I had to put a strip of gaffer's tape inside the heel for a couple of weeks because there was some stitching that seemed to have formed a small knot during assembly right in the middle (probably when trying to attach the heel strip). To the finger it didn't feel like much, but the back of your heel is bony and even a small bump will create a sore. Lastly (and here is the deal breaker), after only 2 months of indoor wear (never wear them outside) the rubber toe bumper is starting to peel away from the sole of the shoe right where the shoe flexes by my toes. All of these issues on the tail of several issues with custom canvas slip-ons purchased from Converse directly make me question the company as a whole.

Within two weeks the rubber around the sides came off where the shoe bends. Heavy shoes and although more durable than the cloth, still seem like poor craftsmanship for the price.
