It is what it is. Throwback styling with no arch support, a little cushioning and memories of youth. Seems as well made as the originals. The leather is very thin, canvas lined. Don't know how well they will hold up, but the break in was nonexistant. One walk down to the corner and back was all it took to remind my feet what their old friends felt like. I wear 10 D in every other shoe. The 9.5 fits perfectly for me.

Comfy - I have a number of Converse but these are my first leather pair. I think they are a little wider and longer than by just a little. I don't know if I would go a size down though. Look good with jeans and dresses.

These shoes are great. The classic fit and feel of the standard Chuck Taylor's. The build quality seems a bit better with these over the canvas Chucks.

I purchased the monochrome black pair. I like these sneakers a lot! Additionally I like that they are leather. I know they are durable because I have the classic black leather Chucks 3 years ago and they still look new. I highly recommend them.

I'm so glad I read the other reviews and ordered a 1/2 size down. I order a 8 for my bf (normal size is 8.5) and they fit perfect! I think I'll order a pair for myself.

I love the monochrome white style. They are easy to throw on as they go with everything. I did order my usual size but would go a half size smaller if I had to do it over again. I am able to wear the ones I ordered though, wasn't a sizeable enough difference that it warranted me exchanging them.

I can't wear Cons in the winter because my feet get too cold. I bought the all leather thinking it would help and it does. My feet also stay dry.

Fit just like the canvas Chucks. Break in period within a week. Bought these half-size larger than usual so I could wear with heavy socks in colder weather. One small caveat and they are not great in heavy rain - have 2 small grommet holes near the instep just like the canvas.

I have been ordering from zappos for awhile now, and have never been disappointed. The products are#1 quality and shipping is at Light Speed. And returns are easy hassle free, I wish I could order everything Zappos.

These chucks are great so far. I ordered them a few weeks ago and have been wearing them almost every other day. I find them to be way better/more comfortable than the more traditional canvas shoes. Not sure if they last longer...I'll have to wait and see. I'm usually a 8-8.5 in shoes but I ordered the women's 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

Loved these sneakers. They are so comfortable I walked all over NYC with no problems. I have wide feet and sometimes have a problem if sneakers are not wide enough. The leather is well made and the shoe is light as well. I found them to be very supportive. In addition, I looked hip!

I absolutely love these shoes and have gotten tons of compliments on them! They are a little warmer than the regular all stars and much more rain proof too!

Bought these Leather Converse and the quality feels great! Fits like if they were custom made for my feet. Always bought the Canvas fabric but went a different route and got these leather ones and they're pretty awesome and look awesome too with anything you wear!

I love these shoes so much! These are my new favorite shoes. I am very satisfied with the quality of the leather and the workmanship. The leather feels so nice and the shoe feels very sturdy like it will last forever not uncomfortable at all. These shoes are so comfortable to walk in. I was not expecting them to look as good as they do. I ordered the Beluga in women's size 6. The fit is perfect. I can usually wear a 6 and 6.5. I will be ordering the Andorra and the Hi Tops as well in leather. I am very impressed with these shoes. They were my first every Converse shoes. I'm glad I got these in leather I have never been impressed with the canvas shoes. I will also be buying the Purcell style ones as well and giving those a go. I love Zappos the service is always the best, shipping is always fast and on time, packaging is nice and organized. I never get a smashed shoe box. I recommend these shoes to anyone wanting to upgrade and get a neat style of shoe.

Normally I have absolutely no problem with Converse, I bought another leather pair a couple of months ago in the exact same size. But these ones gave me blisters when I first wore them, still in the process of breaking them in. Otherwise they are great.

These are great if you're a fan of Chucks and wear out the canvas ones too quickly. They fit and feel just like regular Chucks, but I feel better about wearing them knowing they'll last me at least twice as long. Plus, they look pretty darn spiffy too.

Love my Chucks! The leather ones fit and look just like the canvas ones, but the leather stays cleaner and looks classier. The leather is supple and comfortable. I can wear these into the winter and on damp days. Like all my Chucks, I ordered them a full size smaller to get a good fit. I normally wear a women's 8 but need a 7 in these shoes.

I buy these type of shoes a lot for my son but always need to buy a larger size. When buying in stores they don't come in half size so the shoes are always to large so thanks for your company that carry these shoes in half size and I will continue to purchase your products. Thank you.

The Converse fits the back to the middle of the foot very well, but I had to decide whether to get the Mens 8, Womens 10 on little information. Without trying on the shoe, it is hard to determine its true fit. After wearing the shoe the size was right for me and is comfortable. I prefer the leather because it is easier to clean than the canvas variety. I can return it, so I feel better about the purchase. I still have the shoes!
