Very sturdy, but also comfortable. These are my “go to” shoes for working outside. Couldn’t be happier.

Got these shoes for working in the woods, cutting up trees, clearing brush, etc. Shoes were a bit stiff at first but felt fine within an hour of use. Very happy with the choice.

I have bought these same boots for my husband for the last 8-10 years! It's the only pair he seems interested in and is sort of a creature of habit. I would say he loves them and they hold up very well!

I was looking for a work shoe that had good support, a nice style and an aggressive sole. This shoe fit the bill. It was not comfortable at first but after a couple of hours I got better and now after a week of wearing they have gotten more comfortable to wear. It’s a heavy shoe to wear but you get used to it fast.

I love the look but need to return for a smaller size. They are a full size bigger than Nike sneakers in same size. I wear 14 sneakers. Will need 13 in the shoes.

excellent shoes, love these things! very rugged and sturdy. like most of the reviewers have stated already, they can handle light hikes, cleanup in the yard, or as casual footwear with a pair of jeans. no regrets buying this brand and style. i have two other different pairs of Skechers, and each has lasted me almost 10 years! i have no problem believing this pair will last just as long if not more. bout to get me some other styles in the coming months.

The fit of the shoes was close to stated width, (EE), and the 10.5 length was exact for my feet. The three virtues were covered: Excellent, neutral design. They are heavy duty w-o being clunky; Materials are high-quality but not fussy; The assembly & workmanship are excellent. I have since bought a second pair to keep extra nice, and another pair as a gift.

Had a pair of these that I wore out over a year ago and couldn't find them in regular width anywhere. So glad Zappos had them. Only noticeable difference is the last pair were made in China and these are made in Vietnam and there are slight differences in the tanning and dyeing of the leather between the top of the toe box and the rest of the shoe. Compromises I can tolerate. These are a great three season boot.

This is a good solid work shoe for me. I tried to stay away from composite soles, because they tend to fall apart and impossible to repair. I hope these will not crack.

These are great boots for the winter when the snow isn't too deep. Great traction and well made shoes/boots!

The fit was as I'd expected from Skechers shoes. roomy enough for thick socks or a padded insole this winter. The EE width accommodates my wide foot and the lace ups sooth my very high foot arch. Frankly, they look an excellent value. I've only about 15 hours of rough yard work, cutting, grinding and reducing scrub trees for cordwood, but they exceed my expectations for utility & comfort. Wear will be determined by time and weather.

Great shoe for the money

Bought these for my husband, he actually found them on Zappos while searching for work shoes online. They seem to be a more substantial work shoe than he has been able to find anywhere, he really likes the soles on them. They were a really good price as well.

I love these shoes. They got my nephews perfect. I would recommend this to others.

Overall I am very happy with the shoes and with Zappos. The shoes were a lighter brown than I expected, but the more I wear them the better I like the color. Probably cognitive dissonance, but I’m happy.
