I purchased these boots several times and I hopefully they will continue to make them. They are well made all leather uppers. The boots are true to size and easily accommodate thick socks for cold days. They look great with a pair of jeans, but also can handle a long hike or a day cleaning up the yard.

Perhaps the best boots I have found in many years without spending the big bucks on Vibram-soled serious hiking boots.

Bought these to use mostly as a work around the house shoe. The good news is they are sturdy and well made. But they're also a bit clunky & heavy and have taken some breaking in. I've only been wearing them a couple weeks and suspect they will be good for my needs, but hoping they'll become a bit more comfy. They are very true to size and I've added one of those gel insoles since there's plenty of room. Overall a good shoe and I think about right for the price.

Very solid comfortable shoe, a little heavy, but that's to be be expected for this type of foot protection.

A five star shoe. I use for casual wear, jeans, and others. The shoe looks better than shown. I like the design and bottom sole that provides traction that many current shoe lacks. It also provided me opportunities to comfortably take unexpected walks on all types of terrain without changing shoes. After the recent Baltimore blizzard, the shoes traction were great on snow and slush as I walked to our grocery store for necessities. Waterproofing products works great - I use a non residue and it allows breathability. I see a trend for shoe companies to manufacture shoes that are getting away from the solid specifications that make my Skechers a favorite.

Husband loves these shoes, very nice. Good for dress and casual wear. Even good for hiking! Very pleased.

Not terrible, but not extremely comfortable either. Feels a bit clunky, a little heavier than most shoes. Squeaks loudly on some floors even after weeks of wear if soles get wet.

The fit and size are perfect. The shoes feel terrific. Bought sketchers in the past. The shoes lasted a long time.

This is a great boot for the price. Well-built, good-looking, and comfortable. One boot's color is lighter than the other, but I seem to be the only one to notice. Maybe someone else out there got my other matching boot. They fit well so I plan to put a lot of miles on them. These are more of a work-style boot, not an actual hiking boot unless your hikes are a mile or two.

I've only worn these for two days, but they are extremely comfortable and seem well made. Very happy with my purchase.

I've had these shows for about six months now. The shoes are very comfortable, needing very little breaking in. I have found these to be great walking and hiking shoes for everything up to moderately rough/rocky terrain. They are rugged enough for clearing fence lines, forestry work and trekking and look good enough to wear with casual slacks. Very pleased with both Skechers and Zappos.

I came in to order my third pair of these and thought it was high time to write a review. These are by far my favorite all around shoe I've ever worn. They work fine in a casual office or restaurant setting and yet are sturdy enough for light hiking and farm work. I have narrowish feet and morton toes, and my feet fit perfectly in 10 medium. I get 1.5 - 2 years out of a pair, depending how little I wear them in the summer (sandals) or heavy winter farm work (Mucks/Bogs). As the seams start to blow out (how they always fail), I relegate them to backup office duty and get a new pair. I will keep buying these as long as they make them. Five stars in every way to my experience.

I'm a landscaper and use these daily for work. I get them wet and dirty every day. They stand up to anything. Comfortable as well being on your feet all day.

When I went to the department store to buy a new pair, I was disappointed to learn the shoes were discontinued. Finding comfortable shoes is hard for me. I was delighted that I could still get them through Zappos.

Excellent shoe. Great in cold weather. Size was accurate. I added an insole for some padding and arch support. Great traction.

This is my second pair. I just bought brown and black and they feel just as good as the first. I normally take size 10 and these shoes fit perfect with just the right amount of room. I bought my first pair in a store and they lasted 2 years and I wore them for work most days! You will love these shoes.

Excellent fit - comfortable from the start. They appear to be very rugged and should last. I am tough on the sole. I walk on concrete frequently.

The previous two pair of Skechers I have owned were very comfortable right out of the box. The fit on the Skechers Mariners is good; however, the upper leather part of the shoe had to be broken in. After a week of wearing them they are much better, and I expect in another week they will be even more comfortable.

Well, I ordered a set of size 8 EEE (I have short, wide feet and normally take an 8 wide). The shoes looked great but really squashed down on my feet. Had them stretched twice and have just forced worn them for a week (they're leather so they're stretching). They're okay, now. Be real specific with your sizing.

I love the styling of these shoes. They were a bit tough to break in, but were pretty comfortable after a week of wearing them. The sole is very thick and made driving in my manual car a little more difficult, although I've gotten used to it. My biggest complaint is that the material at the bottom of the inside of the heel is barely attached to the shoe and has pulled out from under the insole when removing the shoe after a month of wearing. I think I'll be able to reattach it.

Nice sturdy shoe. Fits more like a boot. Sole is very thick, with heavy lugs. Very comfy after broken in.

Great shoe for the price. The only negative thing is there is no arch support built-in. Once I added an arch support, I could wear these all day long.
