I have a narrow foot and was hoping these would fit. As a friend said there isn’t a narrow in this brand. Description says soft foot bed. But I sure wouldn’t call it soft.

Sandals did not fit properly on foot. Uncomfortable.

While they're comfortable, I've found the shade of grey to be inconsistent. I ordered one pair and they were a darker grey but the staining was variable between left and ride sandal. So I ordered a second pair and, while the staining this time was consistent, they were a much lighter grey! Neither pair appear like the stain in the photo (a nice charcoal grey). Not even close. I will send the lighter grey back and keep the darker grey, even with inconsistent staining. Ugh.

Not as comfy as I thought it would be given that this has a soft footbed. They said it needs a break in period. I will give it a try. Also the straps were too long, I needed to use the last hole, and even then it is slightly loose so I may need to poke an extra hole. The shoe box arrived damage.

I really wanted to love these, but even with a narrow footbed, my long narrow feet wanted to slide forward beyond the front of the shoes. If I tightened the straps, they irritated my toes. Great shoes, just not for my feet.

Stiff out of the box. It was pretty soft and comfortable leather, though the limits of a belt style clasps is clear in limiting the fit and the sole was so stiff that I decided to return it.

I returned these. I don't know how long you must wait for these to "mold to your foot" and become "the most comfortable thing you've ever worn", but it was taking too long for me. At this price point I need to know whether a shoe will truly meet my urban hiking needs and I need to know quickly.

I love the look of these shoes, the quality of their construction, but after trying three different sizes, I’ve finally excepted that I cannot wear them. The Birkenstock insole hits the underside of a prominent bone just above my arch on both feet causing pain with each step. I’m so disappointed.

Very inconsistent colour, I tried on same in store and it was way lighter than this but I do like the distressed look. Also very stiff leather, like almost impossible to even buckle up. I know it would break in but it was a lot stiffer than any Birkenstock I’ve ever had so it had to go back. .

I am so sad. I just think I can't wear Birkenstocks :-(. I am a women's 5.5. I have now ordered so many pairs wide and narrow fit (I have flat feet) and they just hurt so bad even trying them on. I have adjusted the buckles - did everything and pain instantly shoots up my legs. I am really bummed. I love love how they look but I just must have some odd flat feet that don't work with Birks.

I love the look of Birkenstocks but they feel strange on my foot and are too wide.

The top buckled strap hit my ankle in just the wrong place, felt like it was cutting into my foot each time I took a step.

I have had over 10 pairs of this model of Birkenstocks. This is the first pair where the leather straps are not softening up. I just can't seem to break them in.

I do have problems with my feet. Arthritis and neuropathy. I wore Birkenstock many years ago and thought I'd give them a try. While the foot bed and width were ok the top strap kept rubbing on my ankle right where it meets my foot. Very uncomfortable. I had to return them. Love Zappos?

The "Iron" color I received looked nothing like the photos on your website. What I got was something closer to Dove Gray but online it looks like a charcoal gray, which is what I wanted.

I typically wear an 8.5-9 and initially ordered the 8-8.5 (39) after reading reviews. Upon arrival, they fit perfectly with no wiggle room, so I decided to exchange for 9-9.5 (40). The 9-9.5 fit better with wiggle room, but the upper buckle on the left shoe was scraping the top of my foot. I loosened the buckle, which helped, but my foot didn't feel as secure. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the buckle on the left shoe was sewn much closer to the leather on the bottom, when compared to the right shoe. That's why it was scraping my foot (the leather wasn't cushioning it). Zappos' awesome customer service allowed to me to exchange (again), though, and now I'm awaiting my third pair of Birkenstock Arizonas. Shipping is fast, so I don't mind. However, note that the Brown Amalfi leather color has a glossy leather look to it. I didn't notice that when I purchased it, but didn't really like it. I reordered in the Habana Oiled leather and hopefully that'll be a more matte leather look.

Pretty bummed...one shoe was labeled the same and everything except the straps were longer than the other shoe and I imagine the buckle holes were off as well. So they felt super uneven. Going to buy another pair of the same ones and see if it's a recurring issue.

The sizing is spot on but the Iron color looks NOTHING like it does in the photo. It's much lighter than shown. Also, my first pair of these and some of the glue between the straps is sticking out poking the bottom of my feet. Luckily Zappos has a no hassle return process.

I am a 7.5 US, EUR 41 in a Converse Chuck Taylor basketball sneaker, a size 8 in dress shoe. I had to go to a EUR 39, Size 6.0 to 6.5 to get these to fit, and the straps are pulled all the way down. So I had to return the EUR 41 and the EUR 40 before I got the correct size. Weird. I bought these because of Plantar Fasciitis. They are OK, nothing special, although my doctor says that they are effective for people with Plantar Fasciitis. We'll see.

look good but i have to protect my toes with moleskin because even though I'm braking them in around the house , still cut my toe immediately

I wore these for the whole weekend and struggled to get comfortable...even though they are identical (just a different color) than another pair I already own. After several days I finally discovered that the toe straps were different lengths on each sandal. I had to have one sandal on the tightest hole/setting just to keep it on my foot. Quality issue.

I loved the color of these shoes and I wanted a pair of sandals that were not thongs and these looked comfortable. So I purchased these at the same time and in the same size as another pair of new BSs thongs (GIZEH). What I found was that I need the thong to keep my foot from slipping forward when I walk. With these, my toes were always butting up against the front lip of the sole and it was uncomfortable and the shoe pulled away from my foot just enough when walking up stairs, that I tripped a couple of times. I considered ordering another size up, but I knew the shoe would be too wide for my foot and I'd be tripping all the time. They are cute and if I had a wider foot, I'd probably buy a pair.

I was excited to see this new dusty blue color advertised on Zappos site, but when I received the actual shoe in person, I was disappointed with the color. It was a darker blue color than what was advertised. Oh well!

Seems like a great product but unfortunately, the right strap is noticeably looser than the left. My feet are the same size and I've never had this issue before. Hoping it is just the sandals I received.
