I wear 9AA in most shoes Or a 40 in Eur sizing. For these the 39 narrow fit which is noted as 8-8 1/2 fit perfectly so size down from your regular size. They were comfortable from the start and did jot need breaking in. The oiled leather is softer and it also has a soft footbed. Other styles were a bit stiff in the leather for me. Note the black is matte and alsmost has a washed look to it.

This is my 3rd pair of Birkenstock sandals and I have to say I will probably never by another brand. I have had a terrible time with plantar fasciitis but not at all since getting these. The fit great, feel great and I didn’t have any break in period. I can’t wait to get my first clogs!! Highly recommend!

I normally am a size 8 in shoes . But in Birkenstock I take a 38 which is suppose to be 7-7 1/2. I have other Birkenstocks so I already knew what size I take

The soft bed feels great this is a great product.

My son is a solid size 13, but these seem to run a bit big. He's opting to keep these rather than size down because he'd rather have them a bit larger than too small. He loves them, tho!

Perfect fit and comfort. I used Birkenstock’s suggested method to measure my feet and it worked. Love the soft bed and the color. I’ve been wearing these great classic Birdies everyday since they arrived.

I rolled my ankle earlier in the summer doing nothing special and my ankle is still in pain weeks later. I got these birks as I have a work pair that are perfectly comfortable for my feet with a painful Morton’s neuroma. Once I put my new Arizona on- I could tell I would not be able to roll my ankle in these. They are super comfortable and barely needed a breaking in period. My ankle is still soar from rolling it (grade 2 sprain at lease) and these are super great for summertime and comfort. Very happy with my purchase and wish I could get a rose gold pair! Lol!

I spoke to a sales rep. at Zappos because I wasn't sure of the size I should order. I have two pairs of Birks I've worn for years but I wanted to get some advice on width, etc. It was suggested I try a 39 N and they are perfect. The leather Arizona style is just what I wanted and expected. I selected Tobacco color and I will have them for years. Zappos delivered them in about 24 hours and your return policy is excellent.

Birks are Birks. We had to search a bit for the regular vs narrow width, and these are perfect. Ordering was easy and we received the shipment on time and as promised.

These slides are amazing. Super comfortable and the fit is great! I love the color too! Only complaint is that the top of the left slide sometimes rubs on one of my middle toes and irritates it. Probably just my weird misshapen feet though! Would definitely recommend these!!!

This shoe(sandal) is incredibly comfortable. The footbed is supportive and cozy. I usually wear a size 10, so I ordered a 43, based on the chart. That was a size too large..The 42 fits perfectly. Oiled leather is a nice look. It takes a few Hours of wear to get used to the shoe...I find having the straps a bit more snug makes it easy to wear.

I loved the bottom of the shoe, comfortable straight out of the box. The leather upper was also comfortable. The edge of my toes came to he edge of the shoe. I wear a size 10 1/2 - 11. After reading reviews I ordered the 10 - 10 1/2 narrow. The length was perfect and my toes set where the toe support is. The problem I had was, my baby toes face outward and the front strap on the left shoe kept rubbing the outside of the left toe. I hoped by the time I broke them in, that would approved. (I really loved the shoe.) I wore them all afternoon and evening in the house and by evening I started getting a suction on the bottom of my left heel. I thought I might have dripped something on it, but both shoe and foot were dry. After wearing longer the suction got worse and was sucking and relaxing all the way to the box. I had to return them.? I tried getting them in a regular width, but the straps are too long for the top of my foot. I guess Birkenstock’s aren’t for me. ??

I’ve been wearing Birkenstock’s for decades and now that I’m old, they are the only brand I can wear all day. I know my size and just keep ordering more. I have about 20 pairs and they all look like new because I rotate them all the time.

I am normally a 7.5W but 8-8.5 in medium width women's shoes. Because of years of wearing shoes too long and too narrow, I am very particular about fit and do not like when my shoes are too big. If your shoes don't fit, you are more clumsy and likely to get bunions. I got these in the 38 regular width and I could not have sized down. My bunions make my feet a little narrower than before I had them so I wasn't sure if I should get regular or narrow width based on others reviews but I definitely needed the regular width. One thing I like about these is that (unlike a lot of wide width shoes) although the foot bed is very wide, the heel is more narrow. Perfect for my duck feet.
