wide enough but with a sock would be tight the problem with this shoe is there is absolutely no arch support a huge surprise for an easy spirt shoe.

Width was okay WW, however there is no arch support at all and the insole is not removable.

I ordered the same size I have been wearing for many years but now the fit is not the same. The toebox is too narrow in an M. Very dissappointing. I wear a size 5M, which is difficult to find and now you have changed the fit.

I like the ankle collar but the interior is completely flat - no arch support at all

These fit really good except for the left sneaker that had a concave area near big toe that felt uncomfortable and would eventually hurt my foot.

This is a very pretty comfort shoe for casual walking. But this narrow shoe. heel was just right but didn't have enough toe room for me.

These shoes looked so good, until I put them on. Then they looked funny. I wear a 9W usually. That was too small. So I ordered a 9 1/2 W. Still too small. It wasn't wide enough on the wide part of my foot, but it was wide in the middle of my foot - so I when I got the laces tight enough to keep the shoe on, it would be too tight around the ball area of my foot. I've ordered 2 or 3 versions of Easy Spirit shoes and have the same problem with all of them. I give up oo this brand. Returned them.

I had previously purchased these in an 8 1/2 and they were fine. Had to return and size up to a 9. For a “cheap” shoe, they are comfortable for around town.

I ordered this shoe in two sizes. I decided on the one which fit best. Then I wore it around the house for a few minutes. My observations: 1. It's a great shoe, true to length size, width size, with a nice toe box which doesn't rub on the little toes. It's attractive. 2. There is NO arch support at all in this shoe; the inside is a flat surface with removable insole. When removing the insole, the shoe accommodates personal orthotics very well. Now the important point 3. Easy Spirit cut corners making Romy and it affects the comfort of its wearability. The collar of a shoe should (SHOULD) wrap the tongue. The tongue should protrude far enough out of the shoe to accommodate this and accommodate the laces tying over it. This is where E.S. cut corners. If you look closely at the shoes, this style and others, the collars stop at the tongue. No matter how tight you tie this shoe the collars won't cover the tongue to protect wearing on your ankle at the junction between tongue and collar. And the tongue is short so the laces BARELY land on top of it when tied. What this does is creates a wearing effect on the ankle bone by the collars and a noose affect on the instep where the laces are tied. I am returning all the pairs I purchased. It's too bad because it's a very nicely fitting shoe otherwise.

The upper part/tongue of the shoe comes up VERY high on my foot. This felt odd enough when I tried them both on that I didn't want to take a chance on what they would do to my feet when using them for walkers. Uncomfortable design.

The back is loose, there's an extra hole at the top to help tighten it a bit. The style is not very aesthetic. I don't know how to explain it well but then top is flat. Not a lot of heel and arch support. I'm going to see if I can put different insoles.

I was greatly disappointed with the arch support or lack of arch support. I returned them immediately. I should have known that at this price something wouldn’t be right.

Easy Spirit Romy has been a go-to shoe because of my aging feet. For the past year, I'm wondering if Easy Spirit made a modification to the fit of the Romy. It seems to now have a smaller/narrower toe box -- the very reason why the Romy always worked well for me.

a bit small for me

My daughter has to wear shoes several sizes too big to get them wide enough. I got her 7ww. It fits like a 7w. Too narrow. The side of her feet stress the sides of the shoes. She is likely to wear out the sides in a couple months. It doesn't look comfortable, but she says it is. She doesn't like the colors. There was nothing with pink in ww, so she thinks no one will like her shoes, thar matters to little girls. She doesn't really like them either. These will probably work great if you have normally wide feet. They look coushie. They are white and will show dirt. Pretty sure these will be gray/brown in a month. Not a good buy for a kiddo. I normally buy her shoes from the fat lady store, Woman Within, but they weren't having any sales and are too expensive without them. I'll probably use them again because I'm not sure I trust zappos ww.

The low stars given are due to the fact that this shoe has minimal arch support or stability.... severe over pronators should avoid! Otherwise, a good looking, comfortable shoe for those without the need for support.

The toe box was too narrow for me. I prefer a wider toe box for comfort and stability when hiking on rough ground. This shoe feels very sturdy and appears well-constructed. The price is very favorable and I would have bought it if I could have gotten a wider toe box.

Unfortunately had to return these. I’ve been wearing this style forever; this would’ve been my fourth or fifth pair. But beware, they are not the same. The leather does not come up the sides of the shoe as high, leaving only the tongue and the laces to cover most of the top of the foot. Much less support. Felt a tiny bit less deep on the sides as well. The only good news was Zappo’s easy return policy.

The fit was fine but there was no support in the shoe which was suppose to be for walking.

The shoe just didn't feel good on my feet.

The heels of the sneakers wasn't wide enough for my heels . My other easy spirit sneakers from last year have a wider heel.

after walking in them 8 hours my heels were hurting like no enough padding? my feet are sensitive.

The shoe is narrow in the toes. Otherwise, it has adequate cushioning.

Love the color and style, I ordered a wide which normally leaves me a smidge more room....these fit almost snug......no extra room......I put stretchers in hope as the material breaks in they will fit nicer

Unfortunately not wide enough. WW more like a Wide. Don't know why shoe manufacturer's can't seem to accomodate those with truly wider feet. Thanks for the return policy, Zappo's is great!
