I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these sneakers. I needed good walking shoes. They are very comfortable but after walking five miles they begin to feel too tight. I am hoping that after they are broken in a little more there will be more give.

Nice comfortable shoes. I had been looking for a different style of Easy Spirit, one I really liked and that was more support for my feet, but could not find that style any more. So, I settled for this one. There is not the arch support that the other style had and that makes these less comfortable for me. They are a good substitute but not great.

Very comfortable shoes - no break in time required. The only negative is that whatever the laces are made of...they just won't stay tied. I have to tie them in a double knot to keep them tied and then it's a pain to get them on and off. Other than that - awesome shoe.

I've had these shoes several times and these new ones are true to size for me which is good since I have a very narrow foot. I always wear soft thick socks and pull up the laces pretty tight. At least I can keep them on my feet so much better than other brands that never seem to be narrow enough with all I do. I also have a very high arch and never think about what an arch feels like in a shoe of any kind. Never crosses my mind and I can wear these all day long with no problems.

I wear pretty much a size 7.5 in every shoe. This shoe was WAY too big in 7.5. I returned and ordered 7. Still too big. I'm returning it and not reordering. The shoe looks good but I can't testify for comfort.

Lightweight, well-fitting, and comfortably roomy for toes while snug in the heel! This is my new favorite walking shoe! The only thing missing is arch support.

First, let me talk about the shipping. I ordered these shoes at 1:00 AM and they were delivered to me at 11:00 AM that same day! Less than 12 hours after ordering I had them on my feet . I chose the free standard shipping and was expecting to wait at least four4 days, possibly a week, but it never occurred to me they could be delivered so soon. I am beyond impressed! Onto the shoes. These sneakers are the last in a long line of shoes that I have tried over the last few years. I have flat feet, over pronation, weak ankles, and severe heel pain that combined, keeps me from being very active or mobile. Just a trip to the grocery store would leave me in pain and discomfort for days. In fact, I generally am not without foot pain on most days. These shoes have changed my life. After wearing them for a trip to the mall I was so happy with them. The pain was subsiding and I felt more stable and confident as I walked. The cushioning was semi firm but very comfortable and eased the pain I usually experienced when standing still. I am taking a vacation soon and for once, I am confident enough in my ability to be active that I am planning things that before these shoes I would never been able to do. The only con of these shoes, and it is a fairly big one, is the style. I am 29 and to me these shoes look like they are more appropriate for an over 50 year old. The white is stark white and the limited coloring does little to make the appearance pleasing. Very unfashionable and I was teased a few times about my "grandma" shoes. But I will say that while I wish these shoes looked prettier/fashionable I will gladly wear them because of how wonderful they feel on my poor damaged feet.

This shoe is absolutely comfortable. As I've grown older and have need for absolute comfort in a shoe, this one is tops. I need a wide toe area and this one is the best. I've done marathons and I will say that I wish that I would have had this shoe for some of those long runs. I no longer run, but still do long walks and I will go back to this one when I need a new shoe. My only complaint is that I could only get it in white.

The Easy Spirit Romy sneakers I recently purchased have offered medium to good support, not excellent. They are, however, comfortable, stylish and affordable. One major complaint is that the shoe laces are the rounded version, which I find come undone at regular intervals. Doubling knotting is essential or lace replacement is required for a solution. Zappos continues to impress me with their fine service.

The shoe looks okay, but as noted in another review, the insole is perfectly flat; when I tried to add an insole with an arch support, the heel was too shallow and kept slipping. Haven't had this trouble with Easy Spirit in the past. Still thinking about whether to keep it or not. Meanwhile trying to find a shoe with more arch support. I've been told I have a small heel so I wish the specs would indicate how the heel will fit.

Extremely comfortable. They seem well made. Not much arch support.

Just received these sneakers, and they fit right from the box. The only problem is there is no arch support, so after walking a bit, your foot may be tired. Getting arch supports to put into them since it\'s the only thing wrong with them. Very comfortable and the width fits great.

Comfortable for exercise and walking. Toe is very wide.

Great sneaker - The sneaker is good looking and fits well. It does not have much arch support, but overall it is a great shoe.

Very Comfortable! I am hard on shoes and the Romy is soooo comfortable, but only wears well for about 3 months. I need a firmer shoe...I still buy Romy because I can take it out of the box and wear it for 8+ hours with great comfort.

Great casual walking shoe - I needed more toe room without increasing size. This shoe worked. I found the arch support to be lacking but Dr. Scholl's came to the rescue. Now they are very comfortable.

Easy spirit review - Very comfy...I need a large, sturdy toe box and these have that. Not a super, 'serious' training or workout shoe.

Walking Sneaker - This sneaker runs true to size and is very soft and cushy inside, like walking on a pillow.

Okay - These shoes are okay, but I can tell that only after having for about a month, they are already wearing down. If I wear them all day with a lot of standing, my feet hurt at the end of the day. Next time I'll go back to Propet, they last longer and wear better for me.

ES Romy - Final Choice - This is about the sixth pair of athletic shoes I have tried. I even tried other brands than Easy Spirits, but the Romy was the closest I could find to a replacement for the two pairs of ES Walk Run shoes I had purchased years ago. I didn't wear my ES very much until I developed arthritis in my right ankle due to a terrible break I suffered about 15 years ago. However, for the last several months I had started wearing my ES 24/7--had to get a doctor's permit to be able to wear these shoes to work, but it really made a difference. Soon, my shoes started looking very worn --like I said I'd had them for years. So started the search for replacement shoes. I needed to get a pair I could wear with my new orthodics. The Romy has fit the bill in every way. They are very comfortable and the only problem I have is that they slip up and down on my heels (which are narrow, while the front of my foot needs a medium). Anyway, I know this problem will go away when I have worn them a bit more. Thank you for the opportunity to try so many different shoes and being able to return them at no cost to me. I love Zappos and tell everyone about you all. Thanks.

Relief at last..... Have major foot problems, reflexologist recommended this brand as the only ones suitable to wear to relieve severe foot pain alternated with wearing SAS shoes. it has done the trick and I can finally walk almost totally pain free after a year+ of misery!

Easy Walker – I buy these shoes from Zappos because I wear a narrow size. These shoes fit perfectly, although I bought 1/2 size larger because of heavy crew socks.

Since I wear a "6N" I cannot find shoes in my local stores at all. I was pleased to find "Zappos." I prefer to try shoes on before I buy but this is not possible for me so your return policy is very appreciated. These shoes are fine. They fit well and have an adequate toe box. I am on my feet all day and they are much more comfortable than most shoes I have worn.

Overall a good shoe, needs better traction - I like the look and fit of this shoe - they're very comfortable even with my orthopedic inserts. The only thing that would make them better are velcro closures rather than laces (I hate having my shoes come untied!) and improved traction on wet pavement. I feel like I need to be very careful walking up and down hills when it's raining.
