Okay - These shoes are okay, but I can tell that only after having for about a month, they are already wearing down. If I wear them all day with a lot of standing, my feet hurt at the end of the day. Next time I'll go back to Propet, they last longer and wear better for me.

ES Romy - Final Choice - This is about the sixth pair of athletic shoes I have tried. I even tried other brands than Easy Spirits, but the Romy was the closest I could find to a replacement for the two pairs of ES Walk Run shoes I had purchased years ago. I didn't wear my ES very much until I developed arthritis in my right ankle due to a terrible break I suffered about 15 years ago. However, for the last several months I had started wearing my ES 24/7--had to get a doctor's permit to be able to wear these shoes to work, but it really made a difference. Soon, my shoes started looking very worn --like I said I'd had them for years. So started the search for replacement shoes. I needed to get a pair I could wear with my new orthodics. The Romy has fit the bill in every way. They are very comfortable and the only problem I have is that they slip up and down on my heels (which are narrow, while the front of my foot needs a medium). Anyway, I know this problem will go away when I have worn them a bit more. Thank you for the opportunity to try so many different shoes and being able to return them at no cost to me. I love Zappos and tell everyone about you all. Thanks.

Relief at last..... Have major foot problems, reflexologist recommended this brand as the only ones suitable to wear to relieve severe foot pain alternated with wearing SAS shoes. it has done the trick and I can finally walk almost totally pain free after a year+ of misery!

Easy Walker – I buy these shoes from Zappos because I wear a narrow size. These shoes fit perfectly, although I bought 1/2 size larger because of heavy crew socks.

Since I wear a "6N" I cannot find shoes in my local stores at all. I was pleased to find "Zappos." I prefer to try shoes on before I buy but this is not possible for me so your return policy is very appreciated. These shoes are fine. They fit well and have an adequate toe box. I am on my feet all day and they are much more comfortable than most shoes I have worn.

Overall a good shoe, needs better traction - I like the look and fit of this shoe - they're very comfortable even with my orthopedic inserts. The only thing that would make them better are velcro closures rather than laces (I hate having my shoes come untied!) and improved traction on wet pavement. I feel like I need to be very careful walking up and down hills when it's raining.

When they say wide they mean wide! If they fit me a little better I'd like them more. It was after wearing them a couple of times that I realized that they were just too big! Too late. I had worn them outside. So in my closet they sit. Oh well.

Good choice! The Romy is a very comfortable, nice looking shoe. The only area of concern is the arch support, but then I have falling arches and need a LOT of support. It is adequate support, but not great. Otherwise, this is a very comfortable walking shoe!

I've been wearing the Romy style for many years, because the fit, look, comfort, and price was always so consistent. It was an excellent shoe for the price. This latest pair's fit is very different from what it has been. The toe box is now shorter and shallower, causing a very cramped fit, and orthotics can no longer be worn with them. The look of the shoe has also changed. The faux leather no longer looks genuine. It has a sheen like that of discount store plastic leather. I wish Easy Spirit would have simply raised the price of this shoe instead of cheapening it to the point it has become unwearable.

The toe box is too narrow and is pressing on my injured toe.

The shoes fit well, but they did not have enough arch support for me.

Easy Spirit Romy size 9.5 W was not wide enough for me. It's a nice shoe, but the other brand that I tried with that same order worked better. I will return the Easy Spirit Romy, but I may want to try Easy Spirit again if they offer an Extra Wide or WW option.

The reviews of this shoe say it is one of the best as a walking shoe for seniors, it is not. I don't even walk 1/4 of a mile daily, and it was very uncomfortable

I've been wearing size 9 Easy Spirit Romy's for the past 10 yrs or more but for some reason this shoe is too small would like to return for that reason. Need size 10

I ordered two pairs of 10N...one was New Balance and the fit was perfect. The Easy Spirit Romy was definitely mismarked. It was at least a half size too small. I have other Romy in 10N and they fit fine. Returning.

They were described as having a removable insole, but they did not. It was crucial that I used my own, but was not even able to try them on. Disappointing. They were lightweight as advertised, and not bad looking.

I am normally a 9.5 Medium and ordered that size in these shoes; they fit and felt fine but my toe was right at the end. I have a relatively high arch and these did not support. I will need to put in an orthotic for it to be truly comfortable. This shoe is well padded and overall pretty comfortable. This was not a love at first wear shoe for me. Deciding whether I will send them back or not. I have been wearing Asics Gel for the past decade and they are still wonderful for me but starting to fall apart.

Found them smaller and narrower than in the past. Wished I hadn’t worn them once so I could send them back!

Unfortunately, the insoles lacked padding, so the shoes were uncomfortable. Sneakers should have a cushioned insole for walking.

I have worn Romy's size 6WW for years but this pair fits differently then all the others I have worn. It's a bit narrower and less comfortable then previous pairs. I am returning them.
