The ONE for comfort - I cannot officially give an accounting of how many pairs of these shoes I have gone through. I bought my first pair in the mid 90's and am fearful their days are numbered. I have tried other shoes, more trendy, but always come back to my ESR's for comfort. I keep a back up pair in closet just in case.

Really Roomy, The Romy. I had bought this shoe at a department store before, but did not realize this was the same style. When ready to replace, I found them again by accident. I find them comfortable for walking and standing. I'm a casual walker, not a marathoner.

"If the shoe fits." buy as many as you can! I can't say enough good about this shoe model. I want one in every color it comes in and wish it came in more than Easy Spirit offers. The Romy is fully padded and eases my creaking knees, and has a high enough "collar" to hold my narrowish heel down so that there is no slippage. I have bunions and the Romy is soft and giving in that area. The shoe width is true to size for me. I can tie this model tight enough to keep my feet in the shoe securely and yet, it's wide enough to accommodate my bunions. I ordered my usual/normal size and it fits perfectly!

Comfy and great fit - These are very comfortable, lightweight, and fit perfectly to size. They also look really great.

Still love this shoe! I owned my last Easy Spirit Romy's for several years and finally decided to get a second pair. They are still as comfortable as my last pair. I wear a DD width and have a hard time buying shoes, but Easy Spirit always seems to fit me perfectly. These are super comfortable shoes without looking too orthopedic!

Excellent shoe - I have wide feet and a high instep. These shoes were comfortable from the first time I put them on. They have great support, but are still cushiony. I wore them for about 6 hours today, and it felt like wearing slippers. I would highly recommend these shoes.

GREAT EXCERCISE SNEAKER - This is the only sneaker that I can do my walking videos and feel comfortable in. They fit me just right and don't hurt my feet.

Like a bedroom slipper with support - This shoe is soo comfortable. The whole upper part of the shoe is so soft; the tongue fits well over the top of the foot. When I walk in this shoe my feet never get tired. I have a very wide foot and the laces on most shoes do not close tight enough but this one does. I give this overall 5 stars, comfort 5 stars, the look if it were just a bit more streamline would be great but it does not look bad at all. All in all I am really pleased with this shoe and would buy it again...

Romy - I work 12hr shifts as an RN. I can wear these shoes, on my feet all day, straight from the box. My feet and back are not sore.

A Great Walking Shoe - I purchased these Easy Spirit Romys because I had completely worn out my Reeboks purchased a few months before. I walk a lot (4 miles a day) and needed something true to size, cushioned, and true to width. I take a 7-1/2 wide and that's what I ordered in the Reeboks, but they were too small. So I ordered an 8 wide in the Romys. They are very roomy and I would order my next Easy Spirit Romys in 7-1/2 wide instead of 8 wide. Very happy with these shoes - they will be my walking shoe of choice from now on!

Great shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe. I have a painful bunion and have no discomfort wearing this shoe. Comfortable and good looking too!

Finally! I found a pair of sneakers that are comfortable! In the past year, I have ordered and tried about a dozen pair of sneakers, walking around the house in them for hours before shipping them back. Eventually, either they pinched after an hour, or my back hurt from them, or they just were uncomfortable. Finally, I tried the Easy Spirit Romy, not expecting Easy Spirit to provide enough cushion, but it did! The sole has extra support where my chiropractor says the support should be. I have a hammer toe, so there needs to be good toe room. I wear an 8 1/2 wide or extra wide. I bought an 8 1/2 wide. I think a 9 would have been good, too, but they gradually are stretching. I'm thinking of ordering another pair right away because shoe companies change styles and lasts frequently, so I would have to start my search all over again.

Very Easy Spirit - I recommend these shoes to the world. Extremely comfortable, supportive and a joy to wear. They are light weight, which is very important to me as I have arthritis in my knees, and there is no stress of a heavy shoe. My husband also commented that my sneakers were really "cute."

Love this sneaker! I just purchased my second pair of these sneakers. Normally I ordered New Balance for "every day" sneakers, but have now replaced them with these. They are very attractive on the foot (not "clunky") and are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Easy Spirit Romy is great. I've worn out three previous pairs and I keep ordering them again and again, I like them so much. They fit my extra wide foot, the blue and green stripe seems to go with all my casual outfits, the inseam can be removed to make room for my orthotics, so I'm a real happy camper with these shoes. I'd order them again and again.

Great shoe - I have a really wide foot, but these fit great. With athletic shoes I tend to buy 1/2 size larger to accommodate thick athletic socks. I was really happy with my purchase.

Wow. This is the first athletic type shoe I've been able to walk in without pain. I have very flat wide feet and most athletic shoes just have too much arch support and it hurts. This one is moderate which is just right for me. However, it is so wide I will return it & try 1 less width.

Comfortable walkers. I walk every day about two miles. These shoes do a wonderful job of keeping my feet cool, comfortable, and pain free. This is my second pair. They are also light weight, which means less stress on your legs.

Rave Review - I bought these shoes before a two week trip to Alaska. I have had several back surgeries and two hip replacements so I am always on the look out for comfortable shoes that are cute as well. I didn't have a chance to break them in before I left. No problem, they were wonderful from day one. They are comfortable and also have good support. I love them.

Great shoe - I've had Easy Spirit before, and I love them. But it was one I couldn't get in the smaller size at department stores and that half size smaller made all the difference - the shoe now fits like a glove - perfect! Also, Zappos has the best customer service I've ever had anywhere! And no waiting days for this shoe to arrive. It was here the day after I ordered! I will definitely order from them again.

Very comfortable - This shoe fits great and is really comfortable. I have worn it for a full day at work. For a work out on the treadmill and a day out at the home show. Very comfortable and I have gotten several compliments on the shoe. Great looking. An excellent shoe.

I love these shoes - These are, by far, the most comfortable tennies I've ever worn. The Easy Spirit shoes in my area closed but I knew I could find some at Zappos. I have very wide, very sensitive feet. These are the only shoes I've been able to wear out of the box without adding some kind of insoles.

Enjoying the comfort - I recently purchased these shoes and I am really enjoying being able to walk in comfort now. I have owned this shoe before and was able to get quite a few years of wear from them, but was unable to find them again. Size 8ee is hard to find. The look and feel is great and thank you for keeping hard to find sizes.

Comfy! Very comfy and attractive, too! I ordered these for a walking tour of Washington DC. I just had knee surgery and was looking for a good shoe and I got a GREAT shoe. I ordered them at 9pm on Tues. and they were on my doorstep at noon Wed.!! Great shoes and Fantastic service is why I tell EVERYONE about Zappos!!!
