I have been looking for a pair of athletic/walking shoes that looked a little different than the norm. Ordered these and was extremely happy with the taupe color, which is a true taupe. I read the reviews about the comfort, but since I have a terrible time getting comfortable and stylish shoes that fit, I was a little hesitant to believe all the reviews. I should have had more faith in Zappos. These were very comfortable out of the box. They almost felt like slippers. Good arch and ankle support. Thanks also to Zappos for their return policies. Unfortunately,I find that I normally send back at least half of the shoes I order. Nothing wrong with the shoes, but many things wrong with my feet, cause by too many surgeries.

Bought these sneakers for my mom for Christmas. She absolutely loves these, and claims they are her favorite walking shoe. This is her 3rd pair!!

Too short felt comfy ultimately decided to return because of the size.

A little heavier than I was wanting so won't work for summer trips, but very comfortable and I like the fit. Toe box is wide enough. I inserted my own orthotics.

Best pair of sneakers own. I've been wearing this brand and style for years and will keep wearing them. I'm 11 w in shoes but I wear 11 m in these.

In 7.5 wide these shoes fit perfectly. Have two pairs that I wear interchangeably (every other day) to walk on the treadmill--between them must've logged well over a thousand miles over the last couple of years. Won't wear anything else for the treadmill, even when traveling. I don't wear them outside b/c I'm self-conscious about wearing white athletic shoes in public. Also don't want to get them dirty by wearing outside--don't want to put outside dirt on my treadmill belt. Wish they came in a light beige or light tan color--then I'd buy a pair to wear outdoors.

Very comfortable shoe for walking. Would recommend something a little more sturdy for hiking. This style in white does not make my size 9 1/2 foot look too big either. It took me awhile looking for the ideal sneaker and Zappos is wonderful about sending me shoes until the right one comes along. Thank you Zappos.

The Easy Spirit Romy is the best fitting and most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever owned! I wear a 6.5 W and need a roomy "square" toe box due to severe arthritis in my toe joints and they are the first ones I have found in years that fit perfectly, are extremely comfortable, and are also reasonably priced. The Easy Spirit Romy will be the only athletic shoes I purchase for as long as they are manufactured!

So comfortable! I wear a 6 WW, that's what I ordered and got a perfect fit. The toe box is wide to the end so I don't have cramped toes or pinching. I tried three brands and these were far and away the most comfortable. Most stylish...not really, but I'll take the comfort!

I am very glad that I bought these sneakers!! They are so Comfortable! I think they're great for walking!

Took these for a spin at the gym for the first time. When I put them on, it felt like I was walking on clouds. They gave me superior support during my workout and at no time did I have to adjust the laces. I almost doubled my time on the treadmill and they came home looking like they'd just come out of the box. The width was perfect and I wasn't uncomfortable at any time. For the price, you are getting so much more. Easy Spirit has never let me down.

These shoes are lightweight and comfortable. I bought a wide size and it was a bit wider than I expected, especially around the heel area.

Comfortable!!! Most comfy sneaker I've worn in a long time. And the splash of color adds a little zing.

I love these shoes! Comfortable, supportive, and attractive...my arthritis demands this type of shoe, but my age doesn't like the wild color combos that are found in stores. I got tired of plain white, or black; these are the PERFECT solution.

I just ordered this again, and it will be the seventh pair for me! Prior to discovering the comfort of Easy Spirit Romy in 2008, I was a dedicated fan of New Balance. Easy Spirit has been consistently excellent in comfort and quality, and I especially appreciate that it hasn't been discontinued or changed as so often happens when I find something I like!

These are my favorite shoes for walking, they fit true to size and are very comfortable. I buy several pairs a year, just so I will have an extra on hand.

These are replacing a pair I have been wearing for 10 years! I didn't know they were still available. The best feature is that they come in a narrow width which is unusual in my search for tennis shoes.

I bought this shoe for my mother. She has the exact shoe in white and loves them. She likes the wide width and roomy toe box.

This shoe gives me great support when I'm out and about shopping and running errands.

So glad I found these shoes! I had two foot surgeries prior to purchasing these, needing something to support a rebuilt tendon & add shock comfort to a removed nerve between two toes. These fit PERFECT on the first try...super cushiony, yet firm support. I walk A LOT for exercise and have NEVER had a problem with these at all. They now do double duty, as I use them as my go to shoe for yard work. My feet are happy...they only ask for these shoes now. In fact, just ordered my 4th pair in four years...so they also last very well through LOTS of abuse.

Comfortable right out of the box, felt it was true to size 10N. I have heel pain and wanted a shoe with a lot of cushion when standing. Wearing it around the house for an evening makes me think this shoe will work.

Nice clean shoe, not too heavy for walking, and don't make me look too much like a Clydesdale. No mesh on top either, which is wonderful, and nice arch support. I'll be ordering another pair when these wear down in four months or so (I like to walk!).
