Awesome shoe - Once again I am amazed how quickly my shoes arrived. This pair of New Balance was a perfect fit, and I was able to wear all day without a spare pair. The innersole also accommodates my lift.

Great support - This is the second pair of these shoes I have ordered. They are comfortable and have great arch support and stability. I ordered them in white. Nice that they come in wide widths.

Wearing #575 - I have been wearing these New Balance now for a year or more. I can switch from one pair to the other with no sense of strangeness in the shoes.. They are well worth the price.

Everything I Wanted - I have to wear supportive shoes all the time, even at work, so tried to find black ones in my local stores, to no avail. Zappos came through for me with these very comfortable, sturdy shoes that look just fine with my pantsuits. They took a minimum of breaking in and I can wear them all day with no problems.

Mostly great - ....needed a shoe for what turned out to be a really physical trip to Israel. As far as walking - even on the rather difficult walk-ways in Jerusalem, these shoes were great. Repelling off of a cliff was fine as well. But do not - I repeat, do not do any rocky hill climbing with these as you may end up flat on your a--, as I did. Six times.

New Balance - A good fit; comfortable from the first day. It has a good size toe box. I will look for New Balance shoes the next time I buy walking shoes.

Recommended by a mail carrier! I work as a mail carrier, so I am on my feet for up to 10 hours a day. Most of those hours, I am walking, so I need to have a comfortable, lightweight shoe. These are my new favorite! I didn't need to break them in at all. The first day, I wore them for 9+ hours, with no soreness, blistering, or discomfort. In the days following, they have continued to be the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They are very lightweight and I find them to be more attractive than other shoes I have purchased. One of the big things I like is that the tongue is very flat and lies flush with the rest of the shoe, keeping my pant legs from getting stuck behind it. The sole is thick, and is well-cushioned. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 to 9, and the 8 1/2D in this shoe fits me perfectly. I have narrow feet, but I buy the wide width because it allows for any swelling due to me being on my feet all day. I recommend these shoes to anyone needing a super comfortable walking shoe that will feel great from day one!

My 10 'lil piggies offer up a big THANKS!! I discovered these shoes while doing some research on the best shoes for folks with "hammertoes". I had never heard of the term "last" in relation to shoes, but these New Balance folks share that with us. I learned I needed shoes with a "last" of at least SL2...meaning a wider and deeper "toe box". What a difference when I put on these shoes!! I've ordered the 575 in both tie and hook and loop closure and wear them right out of the box. It's made a tremendous difference! Of course I was already SOLD on using Zappos for shoes! I tell everyone I know about their great collection and wonderful ordering policies, including the free shipping both ways - invaluable if the shoe doesn't fit). Thanks Zappos and New Balance!

New Balance 575 - My husband and I buy this style of shoe repeatedly because they are perfect for our walking -- good fit, great support, and great value for the price. Plus, they are American made which is unusual for shoes in today's market.

Good basic walking shoe - As with other NB, I can rely on a good fit when I choose the SL2-lasted styles. It's not fancy or modern looking, but it fits well and is comfortable right away. I would love to see New Balance make this fit in cuter styles.

So Comfortable - I work in the medical field and am on my feet all day. This shoe felt great the minute I put it on. Its nice looking and I absolutely love them!

Highly Rated Shoe - In the latest Consumer Reports they reviewed walking shoes. This particular New Balance Shoe was rated a BEST BUY. Based on this rating, I ordered the shoe and I am not disappointed. The walking path is different from any shoe I have ever worn. Your foot rolls forward, from heel to toe, and quite naturally. The shoe is very comfortable and I never had to "break" them in. I wore them 10 full hours at work the first day without any problems or discomfort. The reason I gave the look 4 stars is because they are very utilitarian looking and plain white, but, even in a wide width they don't make my foot look huge. I highly recommend this shoe and I will buy it again.

WW575 - Great shoe, not fancy, but feels wonderful when I walk and I have pins in my ankle.

Great comfort and quality New Balance WW575 - I have worn this shoe before and always come back to it for the comfort (wide), quality and durability. I am an RN and do a lot of walking; this shoe helps my feet as well as my back stay comfortable.

Always a winner - This is the third pair of these shoes I have owned. They are comfortable and handle orthotics well.

Comfortable - After 3 Foot surgeries this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I put this shoe on right out of the box and never had to break it in. Just put it on and go.

Great fit - I love this shoe and love purchasing shoes from Zappos due to the easy return policy. I have wide feet and this shoe is very comfortable.

Great for work! I bought this shoe for food service work. I have a really long, skinny foot so I was afraid it would make them look like black bananas. But they actually don't accentuate the length and are the nicest looking black tennis shoes I've ever seen! They also feel great on, too.

Great walking shoe - Absolutely love this New Balance walking shoe. Fits like a glove, extremely comfortable the first time on and every time thereafter. Great arch support, roomy toe area and lots of cushioning. I have an extremely wide foot and these are the first walking shoe that has accommodated my wide feet. Love them and would buy again and again.

Comfort from the Start! As I was recovering from knee surgery but going on a trip to Europe during which I planned to do a lot of walking, I wanted a comfortable walking shoe that wasn't white but still looked stylish. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. They provided the needed support and stability and were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I liked them so much; I bought a pair in white when I returned home.

Review of 575 - I chose this shoe because it was described as lightweight and comfortable. Both adjectives are accurate!

Just what I needed. I fractured my ankle and tore some ligaments in my left foot. When I could wear a brace and shoes my doctor recommended New Balance. I find them very comfortable with a lot of support. I wear them everyday and am able to walk very well. I wear 7 narrow and am only able to find them online.

A little bit shorter than normal, but width is good and the foot bed is very comfortable.
