So good I'm actually writing a review... I am very happy with these shoes. So much so that I'm thinking of ordering the same style in another color. I have rarely found cute shoes that are this comfortable to walk in, and I walk everywhere, so they are totally worth it. One thing- in European sizing I am almost always exactly happy with a 39, but in these my toes did rub a bit on the front, so a 40 worked better.

Love this shoe! Please Dansko, don't ever stop making this shoe, just add more colors! So comfy, so cute, the perfect shoe. I can wear either a 39 or a 40 in these (I have 3 pairs) depending (size 9/9.5 foot). Dansko sizing can be inconsistent. I have an old pair in Dogbone (beige nubuck) that were my very favorites until they got too dirty and the cat put teethmarks in them. I still have them, I can't bear to throw them out. If only I could get them in this color again!

Good pair of clogs - I was a bit skeptical, but I really liked them after they wore in a bit. The only complaint I have is that the "heel" strap stretched out and are very loose. I still wear them- very comfy for all day standing.

Teacher-friendly - I wear these to work in a very old, hot high school building and put many miles on them in a day. They're great because they're comfortable, stylish and have a closed-toe with a strap that keeps them on your feet. I like them so much that I am wearing them almost every day now.

I was skeptical at first - thought these would just be another uncomfortable sandal. But to my surprise, they were as comfy as Dansko Professional clogs are - perhaps even more so, due to the padded insole. One complaint, though - when I wear them without socks, they're squeaky! I'm hoping the annoying squeak will go away with time.

Dansko Margrete - I love these shoes!! I wear them all the time! The top strap gave me a little sore spot at first, but after the first few days, they were perfect.

Excellent Closed Toe Clog Sandal - I wear a size 9.5 A. In European sizes that is a 41. Dansko calls 9.5-10 a size 40. I wear a 40 in all Dansko's, except some of their stapled clogs. There is some variation in the fit due to being hand made I guess. Mostly I wear Narrow Pros in size 40, but occasionally I get a pair where my toes run right up to the front and a 41 fits better. I chose to go with a 41 in the Margrete, because the ankle strap controls the position of my foot within the shoe. This was a good choice for me; my foot can not slide forward too far and cause my toes to pinch. This sandal is an okay choice for narrow feet, since so many Danskos are too wide. I will be wearing these with socks due to my narrow feet, but if your foot is a true medium width, they will work great with nylons. The comfort level is very good. Very stable support if you have had toe/bunion surgery.

Dansko Margrete - These are the most comfortable and long-lasting shoes I've ever worn. I absolutely adore them...and they go with everything from skirts to chinos to jeans!

Fantastic shoe ... These are the best! Like slippers! You get a bit of a lift. I wear them everyday ....

Best shoes ever! I got these based on several people's recommendations, and I was not disappointed. I recently wore them through hours of walking each day on a trip to Paris, and they were great! I normally stick with sneakers when I'll be walking so much, and I was thrilled that these worked so well. The arch support is wonderful, and these shoes are SO CUTE! I really love how the rounded toe and the ankle strap look - they make me happy every time I look down at my feet!

Great shoe! Very comfortable. The buckle rubbed on the side of my foot for the first day but it seemed to sort itself out. Love 'em!

Great shoes! These are the best shoes for comfort and support. I have a disability, making it difficult for me to walk. These shoes make it easier, and are so comfortable and durable as well. Most of my shoes are Dansko clogs! You can't go wrong, if you like the style.

goes with all outfits - Really like the purple ones. It's dark enough to look sophisticated with my khaki-collared-tucked-in corporate uniform at the museum, but amazingly pretty when I wear these at gigs to perform. These clog-sandals are as versatile as my favorite pair of canvas army boots. Have considered buying a back-up pair. Size corresponds to a ruler-measurement of my foot (Euro in cm, US in inches).

Great summer city shoe - These shoes are comfortable and cute for summer. I have a tough time finding the "right" shoes - I do a lot of urban walking and need shoes that are comfortable and look good. These shoes meet my criteria.

Very happy with Margrete - This is my first Dansko purchase and I have been very happy finding a shoe that I can walk in with no pain. Bunion surgery last year was successful, but now my gait is putting pressure on a bone and causing pain in the ball of my foot anytime I am on my feet. I was able to wear the Margrete all day the first time I wore them with no break-in period. The heel strap seemed a little loose so I tightened up the buckle, which took care of that issue. Will continue to buy Dansko shoes, and can't get over the great service and fast delivery from Zappos!!

Adorable Shoes!!! These are such cute shoes! I used to have them about 4 years ago and as soon as they came back on the market, I just had to get them. I also have a pair of Flora in butterscotch as well. But I don't recommend the color. It doesn't go well with many of the things I wear. That was why I got Margrete in brown and I am really happy with them. But I must say that this brown looks a little bit reddish. I have been very happy with all the shoes from Dansko and Zappos is a great place to but them.

Great Summer Shoes that goes with everything - I bought the purple, it's a fun summer color. The purple wasn't too dark or bright - it was just right.

Dansko Margrete - I've had this shoe for a couple of days, and it's probably the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn! Like other reviewers have said, it did rub a little in the toe box at first (especially since one of my feet is longer than the other), but that quickly subsided. As someone in the medical field, I'm on my feet for 12-14 hours a day, and I needed good closed-toed dress shoes. Plus, I have horrible arches. The Dansko Margrete more than fits the bill. This is my second pair of Dansko clogs, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They're worth every penny!

Fantastic shoe! My workplace requires closed-toe shoes, and I was searching for a closed-toe sandal that would comfy after standing 8 hours a day. This is it! I love these shoes (my 2nd pair of Danskos) and would recommend them highly to anyone.

Cute - I have been looking for just the right shoes to wear to work for the summer that weren't too clunky, closed toe and a heel I could walk in. these were it. Although Dansko has changed the clog heel to a squishier (probably more shock absorbent foot bed) they are exactly what I was looking for. They look cute with long skirts, capris, short skirts! I have people staring at them on the street and then finally come up and ask me about them. I ordered size 42 and they still seemed a little short in the toe area, but I kept them and they are really comfortable now.

Dansko Margrete - I tried these on in a local store and thought they felt very comfy. They were recommended for my plantar fascia problem. I ordered a pair from Zappo's (AWESOME SERVICE!!). The pair I received looked cute. Somehow, these clogs make your feet look small and feminine. Unfortunately, the pair I received did not work for my feet. The right shoe fit perfectly. I guess my left foot is a bit longer and my left big toe kept bumping the toe of the shoe. And, after wearing them in the house for a bit, I noticed that my heel area was starting to seriously hurt. I was disappointed and am returning these. Wish they would have worked-- these are cute and look nice with skirts!

Oooh, sexy! I did not buy these shoes from zappos as they did not have them in stock in my size at the time. The shoes are really pretty and I have received numerous compliments on them. Extremely comfortable, too. For a person who teaches comfortable shoes are a must, and when they look so cute that's the icing on the cake! I purchased this shoe from another online store, and it took two weeks for me to get it, contrary to my shopping experience with Zappos who ensure that my shoes get to me within 48 hours, with free shipping!

I love these shoes. The pair I bought from Zappos is a replacement for a pair I bought in 2001 that have only just started wearing out: the straps around the buckle have stretched and the insoles are a little ragged. I have no complaints as I wear these shoes all the time. In fact, I used to wear them to work and was comfortable standing on a concrete warehouse floor in them: our attire policy changed and I picked up a pair of Dansko professionals that cover my heel. These are excellent, versatile, and super-cute! Worth every penny. One word of caution: they do require a break-in period. Do not buy them one day and wear them on a daytrip the next: your feet will hate you.

Beauty that fits - With the Dansko Margrete I have finally ended my life-long search for a comfortable, practical, durable annd beautifully styled shoe that can make my big size 42 feet look pretty, really cute, and even smaller!!! This shoe is my dream come true, a youthful looking shoe that is still styled well enough to be worn anywhere by a woman of nearly 50 years of age, and they are also suitable for wearing with a suit or fine dress. Amazing. The comfort is what makes them priceless beyond the style. For women on the go who have been searching for that dream come true shoe, Margrete is it! And Zappos service was great too...
