Funky and comfortable - These shoes arrived and I started wearing them everywhere - with light socks when the weather was cooler, now with no socks in spring. They are incredibly comfortable and only rubbed a little bit with the first day of bare feet. I wear them with cropped pants, work pants, and skirts and, even though I'm all retro funky, get compliments on them. The stylish woman's orthopedic shoe! I am a 9.5 and wear a 40 in these (and all Danskos).

Go Dansko Margrete! Having had 3 operations on my feet for hammer toes and bunions, with pins inserted and one toe that sticks up (nothing can be done), I understandably require shoes that fit well. Dansko doesn't let me down. The Margrete is one of the most comfortable shoes I own (among several other Dansko shoes). They fit true to size and are extremely comfortable (with no break-in time) and they look just terrific, especially in black. I work in New York City and am continuously walking--including a very long walk to my commute. I recommend these shoes to everyone! Dansko rocks!

Not bad for a comfortable shoe. My job requires me to be on my feet all day. These shoes keep my feet and knees from aching, even after 10+ hours of running around. Though a bit on the clunky side, the comfort factor FAR outweighs any vanity concerns.

Extreme comfort - I bought these shoes and immediately left on a training run that had me on my feet for 4 days. Worked great! Same foot bed as my old sandals (Molly, I think), so I knew they would be comfortable right away and they were. Look great with dressier clothes; the closed toe is perfect, they work with socks or not. Highly recommend. And of course, then there's Zappos' service - unparalleled.

When comfort comes first... These shoes are great. They are a little frumpy, but they still pair nicely with cute skirts and dresses. They take a bit of time to break in and I suggest wearing socks the first couple of wears.

Great as usual - I love the shoes, and they fit like other Dansko’s fit. They're cute and super comfy. I walked a long way in them the first day I had them and, of course, no blisters.

Dansko does it again - Since I wear orthotics, wearing more open, sandal type shoes is a problem. Fortunately, Dansko shoes provide the support I need without orthotics. The Margrete clog is wonderful, both comfortable and attractive. I've been wearing them constantly!

Cute walking shoe - I was surprised how comfortable these shoes can be! I trekked all over northern Italy last summer, and these were the only shoes I took with me. The only drawback is that it rubs on the outside of my toes, but as I wear them more and more, it has lessened. These look really cute and stylish, and are comfortable, too. A definite winner.

Dansko Margrete = comfort that lasts! These shoes really take the cake in minimizing the duration of sore feet after a long days work. I have wide, flat feet and I LOVE these! There was some initial friction on the sides of my toes but its gone now. The only shoe to wear if you are on your feet all day.

Great shoe - Wonderful arch support, could immediately wear them with comfort. No break in period. I have problems with my feet, bone spur etc. I wanted a cute shoe not a old women look shoe and this is the one!

Wonderful! This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it, especially for large, wide feet!

These would have been perfect... If only they were sized properly! I wear a size 12 and was excited to find these listed in my size. They would have been just the thing for a trip to Europe. Zappos' wonderful service got them to me in time but they were, I'd guess, a full size too small! I hope that some day Dansko will make these to fit. It's very frustrating. The shoes look wonderful for comfort with a little style.

Great fit and style - The shoes are very comfortable. I can wear them with slacks or a skirt and they're still appropriate for the outfit.

Excellent- I had decided to buy this shoe but found it very difficult to find in stock in my size. 2 places would have to order it for me, but it was on back order. Zappos had the shoe and had free shipping. I was excited to receive them so quickly. I have worn them several times already.

Great all-around shoe- I was looking for a versatile, comfortable sandal I could take to Europe this spring and really researched my choices. I am very pleased with my choice. This is a very comfortable shoe that looks great with skirts and pants. Also cute with stockings in the winter. There was no break-in discomfort. My first time with Dansko and probably not my last. Zappos' service was great- fast delivery and terrific follow-up service.

Cute & comfy shoe!!! I Love my new shoes!! They are perfect for someone like me who likes to show off my cute "pattern socks" (hearts for Valentines, cats for everyday.)

Perfection in a shoe. Cool, adorable, rounded-toe, slightly chunky, all while being the only sandal-type footwear that adjusts well to my very long, narrow feet. This stapled clog has become a staple in my life. I live in the city and walk everywhere. With this trusty pair, I can trek across town and back by day and go out dancing by night with hardly a passing thought about my feet. I am this shoe's fan club.

Fantastic Shoe!!! I have a buldging disc in my neck and 2 protruding discs in my lower back and I am an elementary school teacher!! I am on my feet ALL day, before finding Dansko shoes I was going home and going to bed because I hurt so badly. This was certainly not an option for me with 4 kids of my own and parents to take care of, so I was told about these shoes...what a life saver. Even if it was my last penny I would spend it on these shoes because without them, I would not be able to make any more pennies (smile)

Love Dansko! Love Zappos! I previously purchased the Lolita sandals for my wedding, and bought these to wear to someone else's wedding. They are the only non-flat shoes I own, and I love them! I can wear them all day without a break-in period and hardly notice I'm wearing (tiny) heels. Zappos customer service is wonderful as usual, the 2 day shipping upgrade is always a nice touch and their phone reps are fantastic. I'll be ordering again!

Right On - This shoe was what I expected it would be, with the minor exception of the comfort level. I had purchased a different set of Dansko's in another style and LOVED how cushioned they were - they lasted 4 years! I have high arches, so I'm always looking for comfort for my tootsies. These are like normal shoes in terms of comfort - nothing to shout about, but comfortable enough to walk in all day just the same. I recommend them.

A great, functional shoe! Since I work in the health profession and must cover the toes, this was a great shoe/sandal for the workplace. It's comfortable (although not as good as my traditional clogs) and cute too. I've gotten several compliments on them!

Very comfy - This shoe is very, very comfortable and I swear it makes my feet look smaller! This is my second pair of shoes this style (also have Dansko Flora) and I may never wear another type of shoe ever again!

Best shoes I ever had!! The Margrete is very comfortable stylish and supportive. I've had countless comments on their attractiveness! They're excellent for waitress (me) or massage therapist (my mom).

Love dansko's, love zappos - The Margrete's are the third pair of Dansko's I've purchased. Like my other two, they fit perfect, I can walk all day and I have no foot or back, leg problems. They are also very cool looking! As always, Zappos got them to me quickly, no shipping fee and always a great selection. I will always use Zappos.
