The most comfortable shoes ever! I love these shoes. I have had foot problems for months, and they are like heaven on my feet. I gave them a 4 for look because they are slightly clunky - they look great with jeans and dress pants, but are too clunky for dresses (in my opinion). I usually wear them with knee highs or socks because I find them rub my feet if I try to wear them barefoot, so socks or knee highs make them very comfortable. I am a teacher and I consider these shoes a must have for those long 8 hours of being on my feet.

Best shoe I own! I LOVE these shoes! First of all, the sizing is a little strange, especially in the back heel strap as many have mentioned. I have a pair of khaki demin ones that fit perfectly, but the same size in black has a heel strap that is way too loose and falls off when I'm walking. I've just ordered another in the same size so I can compare and I really hope that one works out, because I am in love with my khaki pair! I am recovering from a stress fracture in my heel bone, work on my feet all day, and have been hunting for perfect shoes. These may be it! I have a very narrow foot and can't wear the Professional clogs (even in the narrow size) as they are way too wide for my size 9 1/2-10 feet, but a 41 in these fit fine. I am marking these "felt a half size smaller than marked" but as far as Dansko’s go, they fit true to Dansko size.

Yes! These shoes are perfect. I always get a 39 in Dansko’s and my regular size felt just right. They are really cute with skirts especially. Even though I stand all day I don't feel the need to rip them off my feet when I get home. You’ve got to have a pair. I have the dark brown color which is beautiful.

Dansko Margrete - This is my third pair of Dansko and this is really comfortable. I have another pair of summer sandals but this one is even more comfy. I have a knee problem and have to wear very cushiony shoes. This is the best shoe I have found so far. It is also not so ugly and I can wear with either a skirt or jeans. Very happy.

Great summer work shoes - I bought a pair in summer of 2005 and have worn them constantly in the summer, including at the office, at trade shows and conferences and on vacation. Comfortable, decent arch support if you have to stand all day. Easy to remove for airport security. I like how they look with casual dresses and casual suits. I have worn them out, but got my money's worth and plan to get identical replacements. Couldn't find them locally so am pleased to see them available at Zappos.

Fantastic shoes - Great for walking, look good with just about anything, just the right heel. My feet never feel hot in these, or ache after a long day. A perfect pair of shoes!

Great shoe - I wear a 37 in the regular Dansko clogs (the Professional) and the Lolita, and the 37 in the Margrete fit me just as well. Unlike with the regular clogs, I did need to wear the Margrete around the house with thick socks to break them in. That did the trick and they're completely comfortable and great now! It's really nice to have a pair of Dansko’s that I can wear in the summer, and that I don't have to worry about polishing my toes for!

I ordered the same size I wear for the clogs. The fit was accurate. Great pair of shoes for summer at work...dress code doesn't allow for "open toe shoes".

Health care professional - Perfect for being on your feet all day long! Super comfortable and cute for spring/summer. Would like to purchase every color.

No Regrets - I am on my feet all day and have plantar fasciitis in my heel. These shoes have made the difference in enduring more pain and limping while I am walking to meetings. I love them, my feet feel 100x's better and I do not regret the money it costs. Happy Feet means Happy days!

Hard to fit - I recently ordered a 40 and a 41 in this shoe. 40 was too tight in the strap on top of my foot and then the 41 was too big everywhere. I usually wear a 40 or size 9.5 in shoes. Looked cute but it was a no go.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I own. The fit was great straight from the box. I bought these to wear over the hot summer, and have no problem wearing them without socks/stockings - they are great.

Got them for my girlfriend. She's very happy with them. She says they fit very comfortably, and she's pretty picky about how her shoes fit.

Need a Sandal? This shoe filled my needs perfectly! I wanted a casual shoe to wear with skirts or pants. However, I didn't want my toes exposed, and I didn't want a flat shoe or a flip-flop! I didn't want to have to wear stockings, but I wanted to be able to walk around in it all day. I liked this brown shoe so much that I ordered a black Margrete, too.

My favorite Dansko's - I am a big believer in Dansko shoes and my Dansko Margrete's are my favorite pair so far. I have received numerous compliments on them and have told everyone that I ordered them at Zappos.com. Great shoe! I love this shoe. I wanted a shoe to wear before sandals, in the spring. It's perfect. The fit is great. I fit exactly the same in all Dansko shoes. They are very consistent. I got the shoes right away. Very satisfied!

Love these already. I have owned two pairs of the Dansko Professional and loved them. I work on my feet, and Dansko’s are the only shoe I can wear for 10-12 hours without my feet and back hurting. I just received the Margrete’s and am in love. I was worried about sizing, and I have read that people have problems with the inside stitching hitting the toes. So far, they are great. I usually wear a 7.5, and my other Dansko’s are 38. I got these in a 37, and they are snug, but not tight. I can wiggle my toes, and they are not hitting the tip. With more wear, they will stretch a bit too. Glad I sized down in these. They feel so comfortable, and the arch is hitting at a really perfect spot. I love the 2" heel. I usually live in high heels when not working so I love the lift these give. Also, I am about to move to San Francisco and need a shoe that I can trek through the city in. These are the shoes! They are pricey, but my other Dansko’s lasted for years and years. They are always worth the extra money. Can't wait to get them in another color.

Light, comfortable and stylish - Imagine how hard it is for someone with bunions to find comfortable, closed-toe dress shoes to wear to work, and you can envision my dilemma. At first the leather chafed against my feet, but it stretched and molded to fit their shape by the second day. Now this shoe is one of my most comfortable pairs, and I couldn't be happier. Extremely well constructed. I expected a sturdy but slightly clunky shoe, and was pleasantly surprised at how light and supple these shoes are.

Love em - I love these shoes. I have another pair of Danskos also, and they are great. I was happy to get them so fast.

Keeps Up the Pace - A tiny bit tight across the toe base, but I think it will widen with use. Attractive enough for my place of work (high school) and they keep up with me--I dislike footwear that slows me down.

Love 'em! They are comfortable and adorable. No breaking-in time, they are the best!

Love these shoes - I have owned Danskos for several years. These Margretes are actually a replacement for a pair of Margretes that I had for 7 years. They’re a little tighter than I remember them being when my others were new, but they'll be ok. I also had to add some holes to the straps as they were too tight, but easy fix. I love them and wear them with jeans, skirts, anything!

The best shoe ever! I would purchase them in all colors if I could. These are the cutest, most comfortable shoes I own. They're great for walking, dancing, work, and anything else you throw their way. Order them in your usual size, not one size under! The truly fit a little snugger than the Dansko Professional (my other favorite shoe).

Love these - I love Dansko shoes. They are the only shoes I can wear right now that don't make my feet and legs hurt. This style is great because of the ankle strap. I have regular Dansko clogs, but these are easier to walk in, and I don't have to worry about them falling off while running up the stairs! Oh, by the way, they are cute too.

Really like these for everyday wear. These were a little tight on one foot by the pinkie toe; I wore them with socks around my house for an afternoon and now they're fine. The sock turned pink from the leather dye, though (I have the brown pair). The strap is tight around my larger-than-average ankle. It needs another hole punched into it to make it absolutely the perfect fit. These shoes - along with many, many Dansko styles - make my size 41's very pretty. I feel feminine (hard to do when wearing large, comfortable shoes) without sacrificing comfort. I have had issues with other Dansko styles and my plantar fasciitis (my Madigan’s and Remy’s seem to bother it on occasion), but these footbeds are pretty cushy and were very comfortable from the first wear. I was going to buy a black pair, too, but want to try the new Merries. I think I prefer clogs that I can kick off. I LOVE ZAPPOS!
