It just feels cheap. Thin, cheap feeling leather, shoelaces that are too short and cheap seeming, permanent creases all over in the leather the literal second you even try them on. Also too shiny, like they're made to wear with a tuxedo. I can't wear them in a business casual setting which is what I bought them for, so it's an L for me.

The first pair of shoes squeaked when I walked so, I returned them for another pair which I received on 11/02/23. I will be returning the second pair. The right shoe on this pair has a dent by the tongue. I'm a little skeptical about exchanging the shoes a third time. The shoes look good but, I'm going to get a refund this time around.

To date, I have not worn these shoes out. As is my usual practice, I applied a Kiwi brand conditioning oil to the shoes. The caps on the shoes have now wrinkled a bit. The wrinkling of the cap on the right shoe is the worst of the two. This disappoints me greatly. This is the first instance of this occurring with any of my shoes. My confidence is that you are well aware of the fine leather treatment products manufactured by Kiwi.

The fit is comfortable, the leather quality is awful so thin you can damage the shoe on first wear

Eight months. That's how long these shoes lasted me. I had a pair of Dockers that were nearly less expensive, and they lasted me for 3 years. I wear these four days a week. I have a five block walk on city sidewalks every day, but I don't feel that I'm abusing these shoes or pushing them beyond normal use. I don't wear them in the rain or snow. After what I consider regular use for only eight months, the surface of the leather is peeling away, the stitching of the sole is fraying, and they just generally look abysmal. Not to mention that they are not at all comfortable, with no cushion or arch support; I can't ding them on that, as they make no claims on it. Bottom line, I would not recommend these shoes to anyone who needs to wear them more than two or three times a year for "special occasions." I just ordered a new pair of Dockers...
I'd also recommend:

I've purchased Stacy Adams shoes for years without any problems with the fit until I ordered a pair online. The size I received was a larger fit than the normal size 10D. Too much hassle to return and try another. I guess it's best to go to a store where you'd be able to try them on.

Bought these shoes they look great. Had to send the first pair back the part where the shoe laces go thru met and were not spaced properly could not tighten the shoes because the eyelets met and i could not tie them. They quickly sent me another pair. The second pair was somewhat better but when I went to tie them one of the metal eyelets came out. So off to the shoemaker to get it fixed. Have two other pair of Amato in ditterent colors and they are excellent. Be careful of the grey

Looked like they were made of plastic. Seemed cheaply made. I sent them back immediately and ordered a pair of Johnston & Murphy instead.

I thought this shoe looked like it was pleather, and not real leather, the feel and look was very diappointing, the snake skin part looked like it was barely there, I hope my father won't be diappointed as I am if so I will be returing this shoe. Just very cheap looking!!!!!!

This is a very unsafe shoe to wear. Extremely smooth on the bottom, heel may save your life (only source of grip)

I purchased a pair of blue Madison style shoes probably 15 years ago. They are great shoes and I love them to death. They fit extremely well and polish up great. Recently, I have purchased Madison style shoes in grey and brown and my disappointment in them knows no bounds. Despite the fact that all three pairs of shoes are labeled "D" width, the two newer pairs are wider - and far more uncomfortable - than the older blue pair. The grey Madison pair, with the Lizard inset, are especially troublesome. They are stiff beyond reason, to wide for my feet, and so uncomfortable that I, most likely, will never wear them. The brown pair is a little better, so I hope I can get some use out of them. I keep shining them and wearing them around the house with the hope I can make them work out. I pray I can.

I was so excited when they came, but after 2 times of wearing them, looms like I had them for a year, very disappointed, mainly the fronts, wrinkled like crazy,n I had them on for less than 2 1/2 hours total... sometimes a sale I guess isn't the best way to go...

Love the look of this shoe, but unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say about it. My pair did not fit true to size. I wear a 13 but these feel just a tad large for my foot. I have worn these once and that will also be the last. I wore them to work one day to help break them in. I received numerous compliments, but the shoes creased very badly. By the end of the day it looked as if I had worn these several times. These were definitely not worth the money I paid for them. I wish I could return these but the policy will not accept these as I have worn them on a surface other than carpet.

I've been wearing Stacy Adams for 30 years. My experience was not good because both heels were about a quarter of an inch off the ground which made them uneven. My experience of shopping for shoes online was horrible. I end up returning the shoes.

I can't provide any feedback on support, sizing or durability. When I opened the box, the actual shoes were so different (in a bad way) from the pictures on the website, I immediately put them back in the box and returned them. The website photos inaccurately depicted both shade of brown and shininess. The shoes were much lighter and shinier than the pictures indicate.

I have never in my life had any issues with Stacy Adams whatsoever. This company makes amazing shoes and is just simply the best. These shoes however are definitely not worth the price. I wanted to buy shoes that were black and brown and super trendy looking. The shoes do look amazing no doubt. In fact I am in love with how they look, otherwise I wouldn't have spent this much on them. They lack the memory foam that comes with a lot of their other shoes, which I can live without. However what really gets me about these shoes is they have no traction at all. You can easily slip during winter time wearing these. They got worn out after a couple times of me wearing these. To be fair Chicago winters are rough, but I wore them on nice days with no snow. There are creases all over the shoes and they did just not withstand the test of time. I know I couldn't believe Stacy Adams was capable of making a less than stellar product, but trust me there are much better options than this shoe.
