Pretty good to me - Pretty nice shoe. Comfort and sleek style.

Stacey Adams "Madison" This is a great shoe at a great price. I have Madisons in grey, taupe, olive, brown, and black/grey 2-tone; I also intend to buy black, sage, and brown/tan 2-tone. I can wear any of the usual colors of conservative business suits, and the matching Madisons make them look ultra sharp. I cover the white stitching with masking tape when I polish them. My only complaint is that the tan finish on the sole is not durable at all; it wears quickly and looks ugly. But I've had all mine half-soled with a tough synthetic so that the soles remain as great looking as the uppers. This added about $20 to their cost, but it's well worth it. Meltonian polishes match the Madisons' colors very well, but make sure you know how to apply Meltonian correctly. And buy them from Zappos, these guys are the ultimate in customer service. At Last a Taupe Dress Shoe! I have been looking for a Taupe dress shoe for my husband for over a year. The Stacy Adams Madison has solved the problem. It ran long so we got a half size smaller which we kept but he thought maybe he could even take another half size smaller. We're happy with the shoes.

i asked a friend to purchase this shoe and to my surprise is does not fit to size,apparently i should have ordered the size nine(9).

WORN - The shoes themselves were nice that is why we didn't return them but I have to say that when I opened the box you could tell that someone had worn them and there was scuff marks on the shoes. I was angry because it was a father’s day present. Luckily he decided to keep them anyway but that is still ridiculous to have SCUFF MARKS AND BLACKNESS IN THE HEEL AREA INDICATING SOMEONE HAD WORN IT!!!

Stacy Adams Madison - Shoes look ok but scuff and wrinkle too easily. Mine were scuffed after only wearing one time.

The shoe is very nice looking, but does not run true to width. The width was much narrower than most E width shoes.

Goofy White Shoes - This is not a shoe I would have chosen for my son. His choir director selected it for their Show Choir performances this year. It is not a shoe he will ever wear again.It looks well made, and lord knows it was expensive. I am sure it will perform well for my son. I only wish they would have selected a more reusable shoe. Thanks.

They Squeak! Not the soles, but the leather. I polished them before wearing, but they still squeaked so I had to buy a leather conditioner. After 3 applications the squeaking is nearly gone. Whew! The look is pretty nice, but because the leather is very shiny it almost looks like its not real leather. Also, when you look down at the shoe the leather eade of the sole is tan, not black. I'm sure that's part of the design, but you can't see it from the photos and it gives the shoe a much more casual look than the pictures would indicated. I usually wear a 13 but had to return that size for a size 12 EEE.

Comfort & look - Stacy Adams shoes have allways been in a class by themself. I remember as a kid saving my money to buy stacy adams shoes. When as young boys we allways tried to keep from getting any polish on the white stiching on the bottom of the shoes.

Great looking, but squeaky and stiff - The look is ultimate killer classic, couldn't be better. And the color choice is killer, too! But the Madison is a squeaky, stiff shoe. I have a pair in Taupe, it's starting to break in nicely. I'd be willing to pay $100.00 to $150.00 more if they would be better built. That said, I shall still buy more Stacy Adams Madisons in more colors, I'm sure. A perfed cap-toe is my favorite style, even beating out wingtips by far.

Shoe is nice, but too much gloss. The shoe should have leather that's not treated with the shiny stuff. It looks good, but they don't make it in a narrow, so we with thin feet have wrinkles in the side of the shoe. It's still really nice. Plus, I take an 11 1/2 and in this shoe it was a 10 1/2. I had to return two pairs until I got the right one.
