Classic Walker - I have worn my first pair and need to order a new pair because the old ones look bad. They give me spring when I walk and I have Peripheral Neuropathy and they seem to work rather well with that which very few shoes do. I love them and have ordered another pair.

Registered Nurses Miles - I am a 62 year old Registered Nurse and work Full time in a very busy Obstetrical Unit. The Floors in hospitals are not designed with comfort in mind. Most of the floors have a 1/4 tile on top of solid concrete. At the end of a busy shift my feet were on fire they hurt so much. I have tried many pairs of shoes to find comfortable pair to get through my shift. When I saw this shoe on the internet I thought that the springs in the shoe would provide the cushioning I needed. I must say that my feet feel a lot better at the end of a shift than they did before. I recently recommended them to another nurse colleague; she bought a pair and agrees that they have made a big difference in how her feet feel while at work. We both felt that the size was perfect and there was no "break in" time needed. I am very happy with this purchase.

Review on Spira’s classic leather shoes - I am a large person and have a heel spur - my joints often ache with my age. Having a pair of shoes like Spira’s leather classics is wonderful. The first day I tried them I loved them---the cushioning is great and helps my aches----yet the shoes are light and so comfortable---I loved them so much I bought a second pair of Spira’s from Zappos. Thanks for a great quality, feel-good pair of shoes!!

Work a lot on cement floors walking constantly - I work in a county jail where I have to walk all the time and I am on my feet a lot. I work at night so I don't sleep like a normal person does and it takes it toll on my body. These shoes have been the greatest pair of shoes I have ever had to work in. I am going have my work order me another pair. I would recommend to anyone that has problems with their back, knees, legs, joints, and whole body aches and pains.

TKR User - I read about Spira shoes from a joint replacement group on the Internet. From the first day of wearing these shoes I had a major decrease in joint pain. For me, this was money well spent.

Comfort Plus - I have been wearing my older New Balance shoes on weekends, as I purchased the Spiras for nursing duty shoes. I am ordering another pair of Spira because the balls of my feet hurt. The Spira are not only comfortable but they look great as well.

Like walking on Air.... These shoes have two steel spring coils in the front and heel of the sole giving them a great cushion, like walking on air. First day wearing these shoes there was no break in time. I wore them 12 hours straight at work and had hardly an ache. Most new shoes you would be in agony. I have to commend Spira for they've used quality leather for this shoe. Very, Very NICE. I have and would continue to recommend these shoes to others.

Love the shoe - I ordered a half size bigger, and glad I did. Great fit and look. Very comfortable. They don't have as much spring action as I thought they would. But they do cushion the heel when taking long strides. Best looking tennis shoe I have had. Got the Tan color.

Great shoe, even better service!! I am an avid walker, 4 miles a day, every day without fail. My feet and knees were beginning to feel the wear. These shoes have been wonderful. I have found a new friend!! My body feels great and my knees and feet feel even better!! In addition, "Zappos" you have the finest service I have ever dealt with while using Zappos.com!!

THANK YOU- Absolutely love these shoes. I have arthritis and springs in these shoes allow pressure to be relieved from my knees. PLEASE add some other designs than plain black and white. Something with a little more styling and perhaps color. There is a need for this type of footwear! You offer some more "stylish" sneakers, but not in widths.

Very satisfied- I have worn these shoes for 2 weeks now to test them out and as a cashier; I do not get to move around a lot. My feet do not hurt now at the end of the day. I spent a lot of money on these Spiras but it was worth it.

Spira Classic Leather! These shoes really seem to help with my knee arthritis. They cost much more than I normally pay for a walking shoe, but if my knee continued to feel this much better it will be worth the extra cost.

No more leg pain- These shoes are the best shoes for those who do a lot of walking especially on concrete. I have suffered with leg pain and cramping feet for over 40 years and Spira shoes have made the pain go away. I also have the start of bunions so the wide version is also a plus. I have a black pair and a white pair that I alternate which helps the uppers to last a little longer. I tried to go back to New Balance but was very unhappy. I will buy no other walking sneaker. I like them so much I just ordered the Spira running shoe. Happy feet make a happy person!

Wow! I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot. I work on a hard floor on my feet all day. When I found Spira shoes it was a miracle. These are so comfortable, I never had foot pain again. They are a wonderful investment!

Finally! My Feet Don't Hurt! I am an elementary school teacher who stands on her feet all day, plus our campus is a city block long so it takes a lot of walking to get around the campus. I was able to immediately use these shoes - no blisters, no rubbing anywhere on my feet, and no pressure points along the side of the toes. I look forward to wearing them a lot on a trip to England this spring. They also are very light so you feel like you are walking on air!

Postal worker - These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have worn since working for the post office! I am a carrier and am on my feet all day! These are great! I did order a 91/2 and had to exchange them for a 9 because they ran a half size too big but zappos made the exchange sooo easy! I'll buy all my future shoes from zappos!

Best shoe for Manufacturing Supervisors- I have been in manufacturing for over 30 years and this shoe eliminates leg pain and foot fatigue from heavy walking on hard concrete floors. I tried to go to other brand shoes but they are no match to Spira's. I have a small bunion on both feet and fine that the wide size helps to eliminate irritation in this area. Zappos carries all the hard to find sizes, delivers quickly (love free shipping), and where returns occasionally happen it is free and easy. Zappos and Spira have solved my shoe problems and made my aching legs very happy... thank you!

My Massage Therapist Encouraged Me and I Thank Her! In addition to having arthritis in both feet,a little over 3 months ago I had total hip replacement surgery. I was with my massage therapist and discussing having returned to my teaching job (two months after surgery), where I teach culinary arts to high schoolers and am on my feet constantly, when she pointed to her Spiras and said go to Zappos and read my review...you must get some. I did immediately and admit I have worn them to work every day since then! They truly help me get through the day. I have tried assorted brands and styles of tennis shoe in my work and these are the sturdiest and most comfortable for the long periods of time I must stand. Spira's really are like walking on air! I bought the Spira's classic leather shoes in white and was delighed with the look; (the white look more feminine than the black shown). I ordered my normal size and the fit was perfect, which really surprised me, because I'm hard to fit. The comfort level was wonderful. I have arthritis in my feet and the shoes make you feel like you're walking on a very plush carpet with a very thick carpet pad.

Very pleased- I love my shoes I wore then to work right away and had NO problems. They are sooo comfortable like walking on cotton. Sometimes I have to walk through water on a tile floor so I just walked like normal NO problem. The only thing a found out is that the size I ordered I should have ordered a size smaller in the wideness. I love the toe room it's not very often you find a new pair of shoes that you can seat and wiggle your toes with a shoe on "A new pair!!" I would tell anyone who wants a good looking shoe and needs comfort and support to BUY THESE!!!!!

I have difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable and provide support. This shoe does both. One problem was that my heels and the balls of my feet were very sore. This shoe helps both of these problem area. Zappos shipping is great, also!

The shoes are very comfortable. The pain in my heels from spurs is completely gone. The only thing that may help your sales would be if you made them in wider widths. I normally use a triple E. They still get a five star rating.

Spira Classic Leather shoes - I've had these for a little over a month and love them, I'm going to also get them in black. I wear them whenever I go anywhere and have to do walking, they don't look so great with dressy pants but I don't care. At least I can walk. I have venious insufficency in my legs, my ankles swell and feet become very painful. I can walk through a mall without pain in my feet and hips. Wish they would come out with some other styles. I wear the wide width.

There's nothing wrong with this shoe, it looks exactly like the picture, but it didn't fit my weird feet (wide with high arches) so I'm sending it back. I saw other people saying it ran small, but for me it seemed too big in the smaller of the usual sizes I wear (8).

First pair I ordered the right shoe felt too tight and uncomfortable. Sent those back (free shipping) and ordered another pair. this time the fit was perfect. The only thing I wish was different about these shoes is that they were more stylish. My feet feel great in them and my legs do not get as tired when I wear these shoes.
