For those who know... Any Cans Core classics are legendary and the half-cabs are no exception. Comfortable, stylish and pretty durable. Wearing Half Cabs makes you feel like a part of skating history. These are the shoes you'll remember when you're an old man reminiscing about the "glory days".

Get them - Half Cabs are the best skate shoes, it’s a known fact. Beside the fact that the sole is skinny so it hurts to skate stairs a little it is the best shoe. So stop hesitating and get this shoe.

Nice - Very very good. Ankle support is top notch. The looks are great, and the vulcanized sole is excellent. There is one problem and that is the insole is very thin and it doesn’t come out. So you need to buy a Dr. Scholl’s or something to slap in there.

Old reliable - Looks good, has a good grippy sole, and always feels comfortable right out of the box.

A comfortable value - The shoes felt comfortable and I was on them all day at the races. I would recommend them to others as a walking shoe or around the house comfy shoe. They actually look good also,I wear a size 15.

Awesome! These shoes are fantastical. I like the color and style. They fit well.

I love the half cabs - I swear I've always loved the way the half cabs look but once I put my foot in it I fell IN love with it. haha they are very comfortable. And the waffle sole is perfect. But I love the look of these so much I may not even skate in them. I think I'm gonna buy a whole nother pair to skate in.

Vans half cabs review by J-dazzle - These shoes make me wanna shred a pool, they are some of the best skating shoes I have ever procured. Unfortunately they do have their problems. #1 they are not very comfortable. I needed to put extra insoles in these bad boys because I wasn't getting the support or cushioning I require for my vigorous skating. The aesthetic of this shoe is to die for. I have gotten so many compliments on them. They are by far one of my favorite shoes ever. Props to Steve caballero for putting his name on them.

Vans Half-Cab - I like this shoe...quality is good. I would definitely buy from Zappos again.

Zappos is Fast - I Ordered My shoes on Sunday, Vans was out of stock and was leary if I would even get them in a month. I recieved them Tuesday before 10:00AM no extra charge on shipping. Zappos E-mailed me every step of the way. Darden

excellent - The quality of the shoe was as expected. The delivery was fast and came with an easy return envelope and policy. Neither was needed because the shoes were perfect. Excellent qualiaty. Excellent service. I will shop with zappos again!

Great Shoe! Great shoe, but harder to find since they are not made anymore or so that seems until I found Zappos.

At first my boyfriend didn't like the contrast of the thread with the suede...but the comfort swayed him, and now he loves their look!

HALF CABS ARE THE BEST!! All around good looking shoe. Get a half size smaller for a better fit. If you get the right size, the fit so comfortably. Good skate shoe!

Vans Half Cabs - There are only two shoes that I wear that are made by Vans. Old Skool Skates(hi) and Half Cabs. If you have worn a pair of Half Cabs then you know why I still wear them. If you have never worn them, they are the most comfortable skate shoe. It's not bulky and full of padding like the skating shoes are today. When they are brand new, they feel like you've had them for months. They already feel broken in. These and Old Skool Skates are the ONLY ones I would wear. I won't even bother with the other style Vans.

The best shoes - These shoes are good for everything to put it in words that will fit in this space. You can skate in them then use them at school or work. They are extremly durable.

Best skate shoe ever - The fact that there is not many seams around the ollie area makes this shoe near indistructable. And they look sick too. Very comfotable. Buy them now.

I had this shoe back in '92 or '93 when I was like 7 years old they were dope then and they're dope now...Be original!

THE BEST SHOES EVER! These are the best skating shoes ever made. I'm only 12, but I love old school shoes. I've had Vans Sk8Hi's, Slip-on checker Vans, Vans midtops, Chucks, but these are the best. Buy them right now!

I bought these 2 months ago for a 13-year old who rides BMX. He likes the style and the extra ankle support. Very hard on his shoes and they did start to show wear on the suede early on, but no tears or separations yet. Lasting longer the similar Ipaths he usually wears. I would buy again.

Pretty Good - I felt the shoe was exactly what I expected. A comfortable, stylish, and affordable shoe.

How can you not love them? A pure classic that doesn't go out of style...just pretend your Guy Mariano or Fred Gall from the 90's and shred.

Mario - I bought these shoes because my homey had them and they lasted him a long time. But I did not realize that when he had them, they kind of sucked. The shoes are pretty comfortable, but it could be much better. The grip is really good. They only lasted me 2 weeks before I had a big hole in the side of them. I recommend them for non skaters or if you do skate a lot and you want to get these, only skate them every once in a while.

Durable shoe, could use some arch support - These are men's shoes, but I am not a man. However, this is one of my most frequently worn pairs of shoes. I used to have inserts for them (and probably will get some more), because I feel they could use some more support. Also, I replaced the laces with black. One of the best features of this shoe is that the laces do stay put, which sometimes makes them hard to get into. Had them for 7 years and they're still in fine shape.
