These are my favorite summer shoes. I walk a lot in the city so need something sturdier than flip flops. I and go through through 2-3 every summer and while they are not inexpensive they are worth the cost.

I needed a walking shoe for NYC and these were perfect, light weight, great collar and very comfortable. Love them.

This is a super comfortable shoe. While not exactly 'jazzy', it's not as matronly as the picture shows it to be. I've been buying Arche shoes for close to 20 years and the quality is outstanding. Definitely thinking of getting another pair of these in one of the bright, groovy colors they come in!

This shoe is the most comfortable thing I have ever had on my foot. Every one notices them and wants to know where I got them. Styling in comfort! What could be better?

I am a true Arche fan and always looking for sale prices. They are wonderfully cushioned and comfortable and, I don't know how they do it, but the suede/nubuck does not get damaged by water or mud, etc. They look good after years of wear. The Lilly is a smashing shoe and the little cutouts raise it a level above plain flats. I wear them winter and summer and for travel and work. They fit my size 7/38 foot very well. That being said BEWARE about the color listed as Antigua Nubuck. In the Zappos picture it is a beautiful turquoise, which I love, but in actuality they are more toward a Kelly green. You can see a truer color on arche-shoes.com and some other websites. Zappos Customer service said that they photograph their own products, so that may be the reason.

I purchased the size 9/40 and had to return for the 41. I usually am a size 9.5N to 10N in shoes. Most Arche in size 9/40 fit me perfectly. These flats are classic and comfortable. They can be worn with jeans, skirts or shorts. Beautiful soft leather and so easy to clean. I got the antigua [turquoise] and black. I only wear Arche shoes. Worth every penny. Thanks Zappos for your great selection...keep the Arche collections coming. I can't wait until Fall 2013 Arche are available.

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable and look good too. Not to mention the style is very trendy. Lately I have had trouble with all the shoes I have purchased. These are the first pair that have not hurt and have not created blisters. My foot size is 6.5M. I ordered these in a 6 and they fit perfectly. And I got them on sale! Talk about shoe heaven.

I love Arche shoes! This is a great flat for summer. You do need to order a size larger for their ballet style shoes. I finally figured this out after having to return shoes. But that was rather painless through Zappos.

After minimal (a few hours) breaking in, these shoes have taken me all over Paris and down into some wine caves with no blisters or discomfort. Also, they look really good.

Loved these shoes! The color was true to the web page and the material feels wonderfully soft. Unfortunately, the size 8 I normally order is about 1/2 size too long and the medium width was just a touch too tight across the widest part of my foot. Would have ordered a 7 1/2 wide, but they aren't available in that size. Sadly, I'm returning these.

I am in need of a comfortable black flat and since I already own this model in the Grigio I thought it would be perfect. However, the pair I just received was uncomfortable in the toe area and pushed down on my toenails and the back pull tab rubbed on the back of my ankle. I kept comparing the fit of the two different shoes and there definitely is difference. I have walked miles in my first pair and never had an issue, so guess these were just an anomaly or Arche has changed the model slightly. I would certainly suggest it to anyone based on my first pair as they are so comfortable and perfect for travel and walking long distances.

As with all Arche products I find their sizing frustrating. I ordered a half size up, and the flats were still very small. Next time I would order a variety of sizes.

Purchased these in black for a business trip. Very comfortable and suitable for business meetings and casual wear. Good fit in my normal size. I added an insert for additional arch support. My only complaint is that the black color of the shoe bled onto my feet. The weather was warm, so my feet did perspire; however, color should not bleed on shoes of this quality. This was a nuisance -- I had to wash the color off my feet before changing into different shoes/sandals. Since the shoe is made of perforated nubuck, it is perfect for warm weather, but beware of the color transfer.

I bought the Lilly style ballet flat in black. I wear a 41 but Arche runs small so I ordered a 42. Love this very comfortable shoe. The fit is perfect and looks very elegant for flats. The only negative is that the color rubs off on your feet when you wear them.

I bought these a bit bigger because my usual size runs small in this brand. It was too big and looked very matronly!

Great shoe, and a great color. The reason I had to return them is because when I walked in them the leather on the lateral side of the foot would bulge out. This left a space between my lateral side of the foot and the leather, in other words the leather did not hug my foot

I love these shoes but sevens feel a little short for me. I have another color of these shoes that I have had for some time that are suede in the size 38. I suppose they have stretched a little and I love them.

Cute well made shoes but the 38 did not fit for my 7.5 foot. A little tight on the front portion.

Beautiful shoe - very comfortable. But they turned my feet orange. Too bad!

After reading all the rave reviews, I bought both the Arche Laius and the Arche Lilly to try out in both sizes 9 & 10. I wanted a flat to wear. I am a solid size 9, occasionally a size 9.5 if a brand runs small. I wear a 9 in both dress shoes and sneakers. So, I ordered the flats in both size 9 (40) and size 10 (41) since in the U.S. often a 9 is a 40.5 just to be safe. What a waste of time. The 9's in the Laius were way too tight, the 9's in the Lilly were less tight but too tight and the 10's were snugger than desired but not as tight. They fit but I could not imagine wearing them all day. I tried them at the end of the day since feet swell and that is the best time to try on shoes. I should not need to order a size 11 if I wear a 9! The suede is buttery soft and gorgeous on both styles and the colors are nice. The rubber soles seem nice, but, another feature I noticed that was really uncomfortable is that the heel support runs halfway along the foot bed and tapers down and then stops and then the shoe is lined on top of that, well, there is a very noticeable ridge where the heel support runs out. And you can both see it when you look at the shoe and feel it when you wear them. It was in all 3 pairs, different styles, sizes and colors, so it's not a fluke just in 1 pair. If you have sensitive arches or instep, you will probably feel this when worn, I sure did. Also, the stretchy elastic opening really doesn't stretch or give like the description leads you to believe, at least not on the suede models and this makes the tab at the end/back of the shoe dig into the back of your heel. Like other reviewers, I think that would be really painful. A pricey shoe should not have these problems. I've seen better made lesser priced shoes. Shame, the shoes are beautiful to look at.

I was really hoping to love this shoe. It got great reviews, and looks like a good walking shoe for city sightseeing. I've had other Arche shoes in the past that have worked out well. I am normally a size 7.5. Unfortunately this shoe does not come in half sizes. So initially I ordered a 38 (size 7). It was too snug. Then I ordered the 39 and it was okay in the length but too wide. So I guess this was not meant to be for my foot! It looks like it would be cute in the bright colors that it comes in.

This brand runs really small.

Based on the reviews, I thought these shoes would be great - comfortable and attractive. These shoes were a disappointment; they cut into my heel and I cannot wear them for long periods of time. Unfortunately, with Zappos' return policy, I was not able to return them after wearing them. In addition, they turn my feet black when I wear them for a few hours at a time.

This my third pair of Lilly from Arche and in spite of being marked as a 41 on the sole they are constantly slipping on my foot. I should have worn them more when I first got them (have only worn 6 times) and I would have sent them back. Now I fear it is too late.

Awful, no structure, no arch support. I splurged on Arche shoes because I thought they'd be good walking shoes. Wrong. They're comfortable if you're not walking. Save your money. I will - this was a mistake I won't make again.
