This is my second pair of Keen Brooklyn Mid; got my first pair at REI Seattle and when they started to come apart I took them back. Then found out that REI no longer carried the Brooklyn Mid, but Zappos does! The unexpected benefit of a new pair is that they are made better than the first generation and I expect them to last longer than 3 years. I am impressed with how fast Zappos processed my order and how fast my new boots arrived. Now if we can just get Zappos to provide a dividend.

We've just gotten our first winter dump, and the Keen Brooklyn Mid is handling it like a champ. These shoes are waterproof, good traction, and comfortable. They are great for charging through snowbanks and slush puddles. Unlike some waterproof boots, this one doesn't get sweaty and clammy. I wear it all day.The color and materials are handsome, but the thick boxy shape makes your feet look like loaves of bread. It's a very wide boot, which is great for a roomy toe box, but my heels swim around a bit.

These are my boots. They are all I wear. Good looks, nonstop comfort and rugged. Zappos is my company for these shoes. Competitive prices, free shipping and returns and they keep them in stock. Highly recommended.

Great boots! These boots fit perfect right out of the box. My first pair of Keens, I will definitely be trying more of their shoes/boots. Zappos customer service is excellent and fast!

Buy them while you can! I love Keen shoes but it looks as though, yet again, Keen is getting rid of a good shoe in their line. If you like these boots, better get them while they are still around! I have a pair stuck away in my closet for when the ones I am wearing finally fall apart, which will hopefully be a long time!

Keen's are the best fit and style for the money - Fit like a glove right out of the box. Zappos easy exchange program is the best!

Keen shoes - These are the 3rd pair of Keen shoes I have bought, and I know I'll being buying more. They look great fit great and one of the most comfortable shoes you can buy.

Keen mid boot - This is my husband's second pair of these shoes. He loves these shoes, last pair he had for 3years and wore the soles out. I was glad to find them at Zappos.

Great shoe, great service! I live in the Midwest where it has been snowing tons, and this boot has served me well. Very rugged but great looking shoe from Keen. Very comfy! I wear it to work and my coworker bought one just like it. Zappos as always is great- ordered at 10pm, and it was delivered the next morning. Thanks, Zappos.

Love these Keens - My favorite shoes, comfortable daily wear, big toe box, soft soles only lasted a year.The only improvement would be to make them resoleable.

Stop the squeak - Great shoe. To stop the squeak, take out the insole and apply vasoline to the leather surfaces where the insole may rub the leather and the squeaking will stop.

Keen Brooklyn Mid - The boots are excellent. True to size and are great for people that like a nice wide toe bed. This is my 6th pair of Keen's! Service was excellent as well.

Great shoes - I was looking for a hiking shoe (really a boot) that was waterproof and had a wide toe box. I have EE width feet and most shoes and boots seem only available D widths. This Keen shoe fits the bill perfectly.

Great boot, most comfortable thing I've worn in years. Order a half size larger than you normally wear.

Excellent shoe! I gave this shoe 4 stars for comfort because of the half-size too large issue. I've quickly started wearing an extra layer of socks during the winter and its no problem, but I'm not sure how it’s going to go in the summer.

Keen Good! Zappos Good! I ordered the Keens based on other's reviews. The shoe is light and comfortable right out of the box. I'm on my feet quite a bit during the course of the day and I'm not aching to get out of them by day's end. To the credit of Zappos, I ordered these shoes on New Year's Day and had them 2 days later. It's hard to find customer service this good.

Great boot - This is my 4th pair of Keens. The boots are as comfortable as all of the others. I highly recommend these boots. They are great for weekend yard work as they are for everyday wear.

Great urban boot - Overall completely satisfied. I have had this boot for a month. Almost changed the proprietary inserts initially as they made the ball of my foot feel slightly elevated, but after a solid week of use they break in to fit very nicely. I find this boot to be very comfortable even wearing all day and the natural shape is a plus. Also the toe covering is a great bonus - saw the benefit of that first time out on the trail. They give great support without being overly firm or restrictive in movement. These are not heavy duty-hiking boots, but rather are a comfy blend perfect for easy, moderate trail work and/or all around town. The sole sticks nicely on flat rock too. So light it feels like a shoe. I recommend these as a great multi-purpose boot.

Quick boots - This had to be the fastest turn around on any purchase ever. I ordered at night and was wearing them the next afternoon. They felt great after being on my feet all day. These boots were great. I was surprised how well they fit and great they looked.

Very Comfortable Boots - This is my 4th pair of Keens and I very pleased with them. The sizing is a bit odd though, in Birkenstock and Ecco I wear a 44, but in Keen I wear a 45.5 On the side of the box Keen has a chart showing the 45.5 size as 11 which is right for me. My advice is to use the American sizes because they seem to be closer to correct than the euro sizes. The only thing that needs improving is they need more arch support, but you can put the Birkenstock foot beds in these and they are what I consider perfect shoes. At this point I am considering buying 2 more pair just in case Murphy's Law plays a cruel joke on me and Keen goes out of business or something.

Keen boots and shoes - I have tried boots from $50 to $300 dollars and these Keen boots are the best I have ever bought. I now own a pair of shoes and boots. I hate to take them off.

Simply Awesome! I have owned ten pairs of Keen shoes and boots and they continue to impress! Their products are comfortable right out of the box with no break-in required. You will not go wrong with these boots......or Zappos!
