I like 'em - I'm hard on shoes/boots. Find something I like as in these Keens and I wear them all the time. I like the wide foot print, foot isn't cramped after wearing 20 hours a day. I wish the heel would last longer. After wearing a little longer than a year the heel has worn through and rubber is separating, wearing off. I'll definitely buy another pair though.

Keen boots - I bought these boots for my daily outside work. They not only look great but feel great too. Very comfortable and waterproof too.

Great mid boot. This is my second pair. I am very hard on shoes after 14 months they had to be retired. Will always have a pair of them. I have several other Keens and they are just great. I switched from that expensive French shoe company and will not go back.

Can't find a better boot yet - I work in an environment that has animal fat, water, blood, concrete, 130 degrees to freezing. I am a nurse in a packing house. This shoe does not slip, scuff, and takes a lot of abuse while maintaining its comfort. June of 06, my first pair, now-October of 07, I will purchase my 2nd pair. The only thing that happened is the foam cushion around the ankle band split on one boot, but that is probably due to my lack of care for these rugged little boots. I have never done anything to them in the way of care, no polish, no special treatment or applications of some expensive junk, and they are still together, wearing them everyday. Perfect fit for my wide foot from beginning to now. I marked felt wider than width. I have never been able to wear a standard width comfortably, always had to go a half a size to full larger, which messed up my arch alignment. These boots in standard width are perfect for my foot.

A great boot! I bought this boot for my son - a repeat, as he has worn out his first pair. He wears them while working in vineyard and winery - loves the fit and comfort and look - we had been looking and waiting for them to be available again, and Zappos had them first! Thanks, Zappos.

My husband's work boots - My husband will never get around to writing a review, but he loves these boots. He's on to his second pair in less than a year, that's how much he is on his feet at work. They have given him no trouble whatsoever, even the first day of wearing them.

Sculptors Feet - I am a metal sculptor. I am on my feet all day on concrete, and this is the only boot that I have found to be incredibly comfortable in my environment. I have a wide foot and this is a perfect boot for me.

Very comfortable - These boots are wonderful. They feel like slippers and I don't have to wear my orthotics from the foot dr. when I wear them. Would recommend to anyone but especially if you need the arch support.

Great boot, fit felt perfect right out of the box and the boot felt broken in after only a few hours. Very comfortable, weather resistant, and nice to look at - not too fancy, but not too plain.

Buy this shoe! Excellent true to size fit right out of the box. Casual and cool, they look great with jeans or khakis.

Good shoe! Very comfy for my wide foot. Size was perfect! There are 2 blacks, this one is leathery looking and the other is suede-like. This one looks better AND fit me better (I tried both in the same size).

Great boot - I took these to Germany for a 2 week vacation at x-mas time. Great for hiking and town.

Great looks, nice fit - The boots have a light but sturdy feel, reasonable arch support and the uppers are supple around the ankle. I had to exchange for the next lower size than my normal size, but the difference is significant. If they last as long as I think they will, they should prove to be a great purchase.

Keen boots - My husband Loves these boots. They are very comfortable.

Most comfortable shoes I ever wore. I think the title says it all...LOVE my Keens...I do wish they'd bring back the Bronx Mid!

Great boot... This is a comfortable, lightweight boot. If you're used to Keen's you know they're a little wider with plenty of room in the toe box. If not, don't worry, you'll like the extra freedom for your toes. My wife says they're ugly, but we don't always agree on everything :-)

My new favorite shoes! My Keen water shoes have been my favorite summer water sport shoe and all-around play sandal for two years now - so I thought I'd give Keen's Brooklyn light boots a try for this fall and winter. Wow! I was going to wear them in inclement weather; instead, I find myself wearing them all the time. I work on my feet, so need comfortable, roomy, supportive shoes - these are the ones! But they are also so comfortable; I wear them unlaced around the house, like slippers. These are the best! I bought them 1/2-size oversize, as I have wide feet, and had read other reviews recommending over sizing these. It has worked out well.

Almost perfect work boot - Love the wide toe box and full support. Overall a solid boot that so far has put up with extreme daily abuse. Only drawback was a little pinch in the heel between the shoe and the removable pad that might go away but was solved with some thicker cushy socks.

Outstanding Keen Boot - This boot is outstanding and I am a boot person. Very hip look; but, the most important part is comfort. This boot, as most good boots, needs a little "wearing in" to achieve the maximum comfort. Wear the boot for a couple of days and it molds to your foot and becomes comfort-perfect. Sizing with a good thick sock is perfect. I highly recommend this boot to anyone who is one their feet all day as I have worn this for 16 hours straight, walking and standing. Absolutely like the boot so much, that I am ordering a second pair.

2nd pair is not like my first pair, much narrower - I have a wide foot with a high arch and I live in a cold area so I wear thicker socks, and this shoe has been my favorite since the day I bought them. No break in, flexible and comfortable. I had to order a full size larger than I usually wear. Now I just got my second pair and they are narrow, the arch too low, it crushes my toes together and is tight on the top of my foot. I have to return this pair. They look significantly longer and narrower than my first pair. Keen has certainly changed something here. I'm pretty let down because these were the best shoes I've ever owned and I can't get another pair. I'll savor every day in my old Keens until they fall apart.

Great boots - I'm a UPS driver and I am very picky about my shoes since I'm on my feet all day. These shoes were great right out of the box! No painful break in period I wore them the fist day for 10 hrs. I'm thinking of buying another pair in brown to switch back and forth to get more wear out of them.

Keens are the BEST! This is my third pair of Keen's and they did not disappoint this time! I first bought the brown waterproof leather shoe-sandals that they don't make anymore, then bought the Newport sandals and they both have been the most comfortable, durable shoes I have ever purchased! They don't need any breaking in at all, and the water-proof material with the durable soles are the best. This time I have tried the Brooklyn Mid shoe-boot in the brown waterproof suede and as always ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual which are always a perfect fit for me. They came sooner than the time given, and upon trying them on they looked and felt great. I don't agree with the person on here that complained about them not being a good hiking boot because they are NOT hiking boots! They are fashionable shoe-boots for walking and would be good for cold weather, but they are not made for hiking, that is definitely apparent from the start. They are well made, very light on your feet but are still durable enough to wear on the tough NYC streets and also the worst NYC winter rains and snows. Keen has always come through for me and I will continue to be a loyal customer! They are worth every penny!

Love Keen shoes - This maker tops them all. I love a wide toe box, sturdy arch support and overall toughness. I stand all day and these are perfect.

Mail carrier's dream - Comfortable right out of the box for six-hour walking mail route. Long lasting, really waterproof. Great for orthotics users. My favorite work shoe ever.

Quality construction and incredible fit - This is my first Keen shoe and I am very pleased. It is well made, buttery soft leather, stout stitching, and durable sole. I love its looks. Best of all is the anatomic fit. Why shoes weren't always built anatomically is beyond me. Lightweight, incredibly comfortable, and nice looking. What more can I say?
