Hybrid Motorcycle and Cowboy Mule - Great shoe if you want the look of a boot without all the extra weight and girth around your leg. Definitely order 1/2 size smaller if you like to wear mules without socks. Shoe isn't THAT heavy, but it does have the weight of 1/2 of a boot. Good value for the money as the shoe will last a long time.

TRUE TO SIZE, QUALITY! I just bought these in size 9. I take a 9 but prefer 9.5 because I have wide feet. 10 is way too big. I read the reviews mostly saying these run large so I bought a 9. They fit snug but a perfect 9 in length. I think if your foot is narrow they may feel large and because they are heavy, it would enhance this feeling. Don't get on a scale with these! I expect these to last forever... I will wear these with everything, shorts, skorts, capris, jeans and even more dressy pants. I got black. I love American made products that are quality products, and these are quality! Thanks FRYE!

Fabulous Shoe - I have wanted a pair of black Frye boots for a long time. This style is lighter in weight and accomplishes the same boot look. I love them. They are comfortable and stylish. I did order a 1/2 size smaller as recommended by other reviewers and they fit perfect.

Worth the $!!! I just bought these mules and they are great. They are heavy, but seem comfortable so far. They do run big, so I bought a ½ size smaller. You can tell that you will have these boots forever because to their quality. Great buy!!

Love them - Love these mules...BUT...be aware they run a little wide and are a heavy shoe...but I still love them...

I love Zappos! I love my new Frye's. I wear a size 9. They were a little roomy. I added an insert to fill up the slack. They are perfect. They look so awesome with jeans!!! Zappos is the best!

Love this Mule. I love them. They are a little heavy, but they don't feel that way on your feet. Comfortable beyond anything. Sometimes on the top of my right foot I get soreness, but maybe this foot is bigger than the other. I am sure it is just my feet. Wouldn't stop me from getting another pair. I wish the heel was a bit higher, but again, my opinion. I love them and would strongly recommend them. They are pricey, but will last. Very well made and the name says it all, Frye. Buy them for sure. Very cute and stylish.

Love These Shoes! First let me say that I have Fred Flintstone feet. I wear a size 7, but my feet are wide. I love Frye boots, but they are VERY narrow for me. These mules, on the other hand, fit me very nicely. I ordered a 7 1/2, which is fine, but they do indeed stretch some after wearing. I might have even been able to wear my normal size seven. The quality is excellent. I think they are worth the money.

Stylish mule - This is a great looking shoe that is good with either jeans or casual pants. I've gotten compliments on them each time I've worn them. My only complaint is that there could have been a bit more room for your little toe. It does feel a bit squished, but I'm hoping the shoe stretches out - otherwise very comfortable from the beginning.

Frye's Mule - I have only worn these 1x… so far, so good. They are comfortable, but will be better once they are worn in. Top quality… will probably last forever.

Great shoe - This is a great shoe. Order 1/2 size down, should fit perfectly. Looks great with multiple outfits, very comfortable for walking.

Great mule boot - I've had this mule boot for over 2 years now. So comfortable and cute with jeans! I'm glad Zappos still carries them. I will probably purchase another color. Zappos is awesome.

Boots You Can Live In - The best thing I like about these boots is that I don't have leather rubbing my legs. They have that boot look without the extra upper. I love them they are so comfortable. I think the heaviness that some describe is just the signature of a well made boot. I don't find them heavy at all. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a well made, comfortable and stylish boot.

Great overall - I got a pair of these and LOVE them...wear them several times a week...Two complaints: 1) they are very heavy and 2) the back "harness" that goes behind your heel gets slightly stretched with wearing, and then begins slipping down under the heel of the shoe. I took it to a cobbler and had him stitch them in place and now they are OK...

Unbelievable - These shoes are great, I was prepared to be uncomfortable the first day I wore this. They are like slippers the minute you put them on. They run a 1/2 size large.

I LOVE this mule! I have them in brown, too! For me, the heel height is just right. I'm already tall and it's practically impossible to find a low heel these days. They are great whether running errands or going out to dinner. I get compliments on them all the time! Regarding the shoe size, I always wear a 9 and that's what I ordered. I'm glad I did because they fit perfectly with a normal dress sock.

Frye’s Belted Mules - Hello to Florida. I have the brown mules and I thought the same as you. I went to a good cobbler and had thicker lifts put on the heels. Worked good for me. Raised it to 2.5 inches. These Zappos reviews and service are great.

FRYE BELTED HARNESS MULE - FANTASTIC MULES - VERY COMFORTABLE. I read the reviews and ordered a full size smaller. A little tight at first but they do stretch. The heel is just the right height to walk in and wear all day. They are great with jeans! Zappos was very quick with shipping during the holidays and the mules arrived in perfect condition. I must also say Zappos has the best price for this mule. I have shopped around on line and in stores and Zappos is at least $25.00 cheaper without any sale. I will always shop at Zappos first.

You have got to buy them.. Love these shoes... Just wish I had gotten them a 1/2 size smaller. I have to wear thick socks with them.I think a smaller size would have been much more comfortable and they would have molded to my feet. They kind of flop around now.

You get what you pay for and more! I was hesitant to pay so much for a mule, but the quality was worth it. I thought the weight would be a problem, but they wear beautifully and were comfortable from the first day's wear. I love the rustic leather in the Tan Crazy Horse color (which is really a matt brown color). I tried this mule on at a local store and found out that they ran a half size large so I knew to order down a half size. Also, for women that have trouble wearing boots due to a heavier leg, but still want the look of a full boot, this is a great alternative. You can't beat Zappos for overall customer satisfaction.
