Old school - I needed new shoes for drumming but also wanted something with a little appeal. These are great for going to the club and looking good before performing with my band. They are pretty comfy for indoor soccer shoes. Zappos Rules!

By far, the best pair of sneakers I have ever owned, so much to the fact I got a second pair, just to have if and when the first pair wear out. I usually wear skateboarding shoes, but I like the fact these Speed Cats are like slippers and conform to every contortion of your foot. The shoe is very thin and really fits around your foot, thus it is sleek and not clunky looking at all. Yet the soles are very strong, I did a 16-mile (20 kilometer) drive on a bicycle that was set up for cycling shoe pegs, meaning a very small surface area for the soles of ordinary shoes to push on. Not a mark on the soles of the Speed Cats and most important, the soles of my feet were perfectly fine. Grip on most surfaces is decent, mild rock work is possible because of just how much flex and feel this shoe gives, but you must watch not to damage the easily scuffed sides and edges of the outsoles, the leather uppers really curve under. These shoes are an excellent driving shoe, as they should be, being designed after them, but no flame retardant. I've driven six straight hours in them and my feet stay cool and comfortable, pedal feel excellent. They draw so much attention, folks are always looking at my Speed Cats and making comments how neat they look so cool, how sexy they look, they are absolutely perfect looking, not ugly like so many of the gaudy designs out there now. Bad point. Like most cats, they hate the wet. A very good cure that has worked with mine is several coatings of 'Sneaker Protection - Water and Stain Repellant.' This stuff is polymer based and the several coatings of this stuff does not show on the Speed Cats but water seems to just bead up and roll of them, even when tested under a water tap on the toes for a few seconds (I had to see for myself!) yet the shoe still breathes, your feet don't sweat up in them and get odors. Maintenance coats every two weeks or so keeps up the protection. Just a little mild soap on the white Puma stripes keeps then new looking. Mine have seen much use but look almost brand new still, not at all beaten looking, the suede still looking like suede, and the soles show very minimal wear. This would help the folks that complain the Speed Cats get dirty too fast. Try the protectant I mentioned above, I have the new pair already protected with the spray. Final notes. I am a size 13 with a wider than normal foot. The shoes fit perfectly in length AND gave even my wide feet plenty of room side to side. Like a slipper I said, and can conclude that Puma has always made great looking and feeling shoes, the Speed Cats really hit the mark!

I own a pair of black/pink which I got for Christmas in 2004 from mom via Zappos. I didn't wear until recently because hard to match clothes. When I did, my feet were in agony. No arch support. They were made as if my big toe is in the middle. Pinching pain. I have a very pretty foot. Walking in NYC is tough with these shoes. Felt as if I walked on the sides of my feet. Agonizing. They are still new looking. They look like bedroom slippers on my feet.

Wonderfull! I LOVED THESE SHOES! They were extremely comfy and stylish looking. I had been searching for years for shoes without ugly, clunky soles, and I found them! The only thing that was bad about them was the suede got dirty quite easily if you got a light color. I suggest you do not wear these in the rain and you get the stripe in leather instead of suede.

Great buy - The shoes were as describe, great looks and confortable, they are narrow so if you have wide feet I suggest to try it first in a store (they may not have the color you want but at least you can meake sure thet fit ok), that is what I did Zappos have a great selection of colors.

Puma Speed Cat SD - These shoes are very good looking, but it doesn't last very long. You can't keep the suede clean very long, so your shoe looks that it is pretty old after a month. Be careful to buy Puma's that include white color. Very nice to foot, but doesn't give so much support to the arch. Lightweight.

Great sneaks - This sneakers are great! They are very comftorable. They give a lot of support. The look is great! All in all this sneakers are just fantastic!

Great shoes and great service - These shoes are awesome. They look great. They are comfortable but they are not a walking/running shoe so don't expect them to be the best for that stuff. If you like driving cars these shoes are perfrect for you. I drive a manual and I have never shifted it smoother than these shoes. They were a little big on me. I ordered a 12 and had to go to a 11 1/2. But zappos was great I got free two day shipping on both even though I signed up for free 4-5 days.

I bought the brown ones when they were $70 on here and if you care about saving $5, you can find them in some stores in the mall for the same price. I like these a lot, but it was annoying in the beginning because they're narrow at the toe. Now that I've worn them in, it's not a problem unless I wear them for an extended period of time.

Speed Cat - Stylish and Sharp. The shoes are exactly what I expected...however, they have a very thin sole making long walks or prolonged time on your feet very uncomfortable. Would purchase again. Zappos excellent...shipped earlier than expected...reasonably priced...would purchase again.

As for the Pumas, they are sleek and stylish and offer a unique and fashionable look unlike any other sneaker. They are very comfortable but run a little small and narrow, so go 1/2 size up when you order. I like that they are sleek enough to wear with a skirt or even to work on a casual Friday. I wouldn't do a cardio workout in them, however.

Great sneaker!! This is definitely my favorite sneaker. Receive alot of compliments and they are very comfortable. Zappos is great. I received them in 2 days - very reliable company. I will continue doing business.

Pleased! I bought them in black & white. I was a bit concerned that they might fit too snug but once I put them on it was like putting on a slipper! Great feel , good arch support, love the look! I recommend them!

Speed cat - Great shoe, great look...order one half size bigger than normal. Very pleased with Zappos, they always get my order to me faster than expected.

These are great shoes - I love them- they are very comfortable and I have gotten lots of compliments!!! They are a bit on the narrow side but they make my feet look smaller than the size 8 that they are... These will be a staple shoe through the spring for me.

Pumas - The speedy cats are very nice looking sneakers, however make sure you get the right sneakers or will not be comfortable.

I have 2 Pair of These - Very cool looking, make my feet look great... I have this in 2 colors. They run a little smaller than other brands so I went up 1/2 size.

These shoes are the best shoes. They have the best look of any shoe and they are comfortable. It just fits your feet so well. I would recommend anyone to buy a pair of pumas. You just have to get them a half size larger than your normal size.

Speed cats rock - This shoe looks great, and is true to the original blue suede pumas. I am glad they brought it back.

Great shoe! Love these PUMA's! So comfortable and so stylish! And whats just as important is the service from Zappo's. Sent me a shipping tracking # same day as I ordered but shoes arrived the very next day and I hadn't even looked at the tracking #. These guys are great!
