I am outside everyday and these are awesome. Keep my feet dry and comfortable. Good on slippery surfaces and waterproof. Wish there was alittle more insulation by the toes and fit just a tad smaller than I would have liked, but only an issue if you want to add bulky socks. And ordering a size larger would have been too big. My last pair lasted several years and I only replaced them because my dog chewed out the furry lining on one of the boots or I would still be wearing those. A very well made boot well worth the money as they will last for years.

Great boot in so many ways but for me they just don't fit right - and there isn't nearly enough shearling around the toe. They're quite wide but also feel slightly short, even though I ordered a size above my normal (I'm a 6, I ordered a 7). I was willing to deal with that but five minutes walking outside in fresh snow and my toes were cold. My heels and ankles were snuggly warm but cold toes are a dealbreaker in a winter shearling-lined boot at this price. I'm bummed! I love my regular Uggs and these are lightweight (which is so unusual for a winter boot) and the lacing is really quick but...(sniff)...they're just not good enough.

I wore my boots for the first time today. It was a rainy/ icey morning in Brooklyn NY today and I'm glad I bought these boots just in time for today's nasty weather. These boots kept my feet warm and dry. I love them. Only one bad thing about them is that I notice on some indoor floors they seem to not grip the floor as well as concrete. The boots seemed a little slippery in my office building and in one of the subway stations. I'm a bit confused as to why they don't grip all floor types but other than that the boots are great.

I use these boot to walk the dog 3-4 miles daily, as they are comfortable and waterproof. The Vibram sole is a key factor to the boot, being good for serious walking. I bought the next size up rather than down (which you normally do with Uggs).

I ordered these for winter boots. They are well constructed and great quality. However, without socks, they scratch and the tag at top itched my ankle. I felt they will not work for the snow in the Northeast. I tried on the talls in a store and felt they would work better for a heavy snow storm or if you have to be out in the snow for a long time. Also they do not scratch without socks as the top is suede. If you turn the top up, the laces are against your skin, as the tongue then does not extend all the way up. I think the quality of the dye and fur is not as good as the classics. They are true to size and overall a great boot. If you are looking for style then go with the shorts. If you are looking for a true winter boot, I would recommend the talls. Both are beautiful boots.

I wear these boots every day in cold, snowy Vermont. The size is true. I wear a 9.5 but bought a 10 because they didn't have half sizes. Fit is fine with a heavy sock. The ankle is stiff, which gives good support in the snow/ice. Feels good on my feet. My only complaint is the fur was a bit scratchy on my leg if I didn't wear a sock, but I'm very fair with sensitive skin, so it just might be me. Overall, a good winter boot.

I bought these for the upcoming ski season. This is my 12th pair of Uggs and I have been completely satisfied every time. Haven't tried them out in the snow yet, but they are super warm, cute, and comfy. I do wish they were just a little bit taller though. Or I wish the tall ones came in black.

Great boot but the lining is synthetic and the foot bed is genuine sheepskin. Not so accurate in the description.

This boot runs short and has a low toebox and thus will be returned. I normally wear an 8 (sometimes narrow) and ordered an 8. Otherwise it seems nicely made and very warm. Nice plush shearling footbed.

Boot was too small for me. I wear a size 7 1/2 and ordered a size 7. I also think I need a boot that goes higher on the leg. Ordered the shorter version of the boot. Switched to Capstone with help from customer service. 1st boot too small also. Waiting for second boot to come in size 8. Hoping that will work. [...] I have lyme/CFS/fibro so need something easy on and off too. Hoping capstone size 8 will work. Sent in Capstone size 7 5 days ago. No indication they got it yet and size 8 on the way. [...]

My feet are always cold and I was desperately looking for warm boots. I bought these boots for a New England Football game in January. They saved me! My feet were toasty warm all day. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

I really wanted to like these.
After buying a pair of sheepskin slippers, I wanted a pair of sheepskin boots for snow and cold weather. There aren't too many sheepskin boots that are waterproof, so I thought I'd give these a try. They seem quite comfortable, my narrow heel doesn't slip, and there is enough space over my high instep. The only downside is that the sheepskin lining over the toe area is much thinner than in the rest of the shoe. Although the shoes seem warm enough in the house, I'm not sure they'll keep my frosty toes warm enough outside. I think for the price the lining could be the same thickness everywhere.

I had to go with the Sorel Snow Bird for comfort versus Ugg -
I had hoped these would be my 2nd pair of winter boots as they are water proof but unfortunately, they did not have as much cushion as the Sorel Snow Bird had, otherwise they would have been a keeper. My size 8 fit a 7.5 perfectly. Nice size toe box, looked good, felt warm but just lacking a tad in cushion for my feet. A God Toe Knee High stays up and doesn't slip in these. If you are looking for a nice quality boot and don't need as much cushion as I do, I recommend these highly.
I'd also recommend:

Great Boots -
I bought these for my trip to New York in Feb. My feet were warm and dry at all times. Couldn't be more comfortable either. A little clunky looking, but not too bad, especially with jeans.

Ugg should make half sizes -
I am a 7.5 and so I ordered the 8. They were really wide and there was so much extra room around my foot that I ordered a 7, but my toe just brushes the end and I can't decide which one I should keep. They would be super if they were narrower or if they came in half sizes.

Great boot!
These boots are VERY cushy and warm but never sweaty. They do feel a full size larger though, and thick, long socks are needed (if my socks don't come up past the top of the boot, they slide down and bunch up at my toe). They are comfortable enough to wear all day and I do this often.
Also it's a bit hard to lace the lower part of the shoelace tight. My one big complaint is that if the tongue is not fully centered, the leather part that attaches the tongue to the boot gets bunched up and rubs against my leg, and it's quite uncomfortable. But as long as the tongue is centered, there is no problem. These boots look great too. I have yet to test them in a storm, but I suspect they will be just fine. I would buy these boots again, but I may not have to. They look like they will last forever.

UGG Adirondack -
Great for snow & ice, WARM, luggy, generally a workboot.
I'd also recommend:
The slip-on Ugg boots look much better but these walk better in snow and ice.

Good boots -
I didn't heed the advice to buy 1/2 size larger, so I won't be wearing the boots with a thick sock. Other then that, I love the boots. They are not real heavy and clunky-which is what I like most! They are very warm and actually pretty stylish. I was afraid they would look to frumpy with a cute outfit- but no! :-) I recommend this boot if you’re looking for warmth, comfort, and style!

Finally...warmth!
My extremities always seem to be cold. My first pair of Uggs amazed me even in 10-20 degree weather every year when I go skiing. I have added Ugg slippers and now the Adirondack Boot to my closet. This shoe also has more support than the 'classic' Ugg boot which is good if you have feet/arch pain.
I don't suggest the Ugg boot if you have very sweaty feet; however, the sole is removable for airing/cleaning.
I'd also recommend:

Warm & Cozy!
Overall, they're very comfortable and warm. The only problem is that they're a bit less-flexible and clunkier than I had been expecting... I work and live in NYC, and it is difficult going up and down steps - particularly on the subway platform. They are not heavy, but the sole does not flex, immobilizing the foot. It is somewhat akin to walking in a ski boot, but with a lot less swagger, as it is still lower and looser - but similar nonetheless. I typically wear an 8.5-9 in shoes (actually, my left's an 8.5 and my right is a 9 - so it depends on the shoe). I ordered a 9 and it fits great, a bit big, but I wanted to leave room for big thick socks! Besides, the laces can always be tightened.

Great Winter Weather Boot -
These boots are so good looking and fit very well. They're great to wear when it's snowy out. I bought the otter color and, based on other reviews, in a half size larger than my regular size. I have wide feet and a high instep and these fit me fine. I wore them around all day when I got them. They were comfortable right out of the box. I almost can't wait for snowy weather.

I love these boots!
I ordered these boots after finding Earth Alaska not warm enough and with too much arch support. These boots are awesome. I confess that I sometimes wear them around the house until bedtime because they are so warm and comfy. The soles have great traction, there's no arch support, and they are fully lined so I can wear them barefoot! My only complaint would be that they are not all that stylish. Oh well, they're not bad and practically speaking they are gonna rock through the Maine winter!

Bought these for my daughter living in New England and to be honest she was very happy with them. Could wear them in autumn as well in the winter; maybe that's the problem; she loved them too much couldn't stop wearing them. As you know weather is very cold and very snowy in New England and they protect very well against the weather; however, the stitches that attached the sole and the upper part is loose so water and snow and cold gets in. I guess 12 months is too early to discard a boot like that.
