Let me start by saying I am a faithful Ugg customer. It is the only brand of boot I wear. My slippers are Ugg, my kids' boots since they were born are Uggs. My oldest is now 7. I even purchased a pair of Ugg slippers for my mom. I have had a pair of water proof leather zip up Ugg boots for 5 or more years now (in addition to two other pair of Ugg boots). They are beyond worn now and it was time for a new pair. I don't just wear waterproof boots for the style, I also need them to function when I'm outside playing in the snow with my kids. My old boots did that. They were tall enough where the snow never got in and of course warm enough where I didn't need socks in 20 degree weather. Not these boots. I decided not to get the tall version because the laces frightened me. The shorter style is just terrible in every sense. They are heavy. The shoelaces come undone constantly causing snow to get in. They are too short - so after the recent blizzard we had in CT, snow got in while I just walked the dogs out in the am. They are cute, but I honestly hate them. I can't justify paying for another pair, but I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. I don't know why a zip up version isn't offered, but they should.

Great boot. Very warm. Bought this for my daughter to wear on campus in Boston. Size 10 fit perfect.

Great boots, very well made with high quality materials. I've tried many others including Northface, Skechers, Kamik, and Uggs definitely come out on top in terms of the quality and the look. This style is definitely one size too small, so order up. Thanks to Zappos I can return and re-order without hassle.

I bought these after much debate over the price and color. I bought these to replace the ugly Timberland hiking boots that I was using to commute to and from work and as snow boots, which slipped very easily on the subway train platform and were too short to wear in the snow. Saw these in the UGG catalog. They're quite warm and toasty. The color is nice, though I wanted brown or black, but those colors didn't come in suede, so the suede won out and I'm not sorry. I think these will be very worth the investment and will last forever. They're extremely warm. I wear them either without socks or with my tights. In fact, socks are not needed and would slip around inside the boot and make the boots too warm and too small. These boots do feel slightly smaller than size, but are fine if I don't try to wear socks (which aren't needed). For example, I wore these to work one day in the rain, and the rain didn't even seem to affect them - they weren't the least bit wet when I got to the office. They seem quite durable, and I'm very pleased with this purchase.

My wife has been wearing Uggs Ultima boots since well before they were famous. Ugg does need to get its sizing act together as the correct size for you will vary between styles, and some times even between pairs in the same style. But when this happened, Zappos bent over backwards sending 3 pairs before we got the right size. I had ordered her another pair of Shearing Uggs at the same time in size 5, they were fine. The Adirondacks wound up being a six. These are very nice, comfortable. She loves them as well as the rest of her Ugg collection, and Zappos service is awesome.

Consider a half size up when purchasing this boot. I am usually a true size 7, but had to exchange it for a 7.5. They're also quite rigid, and a bit heavy, but I'm hoping that means they'll prove solid rain boots.

These are wonderful Boots! If only the weather would cooperate so snow boots were needed. These are incredibly comfortable and well made. They are fully waterproof but do not feel clunky at all.

I purchased these boots as a gift for my daughter who had been dreaming aout them for some time. No matter how wonderful the dream, now that she has them her happiness is beyond words. She loves them! I haven't seen her take them off during our Missouri winter.

These are warm and waterproof. I purchased the Ugg Adirondac II boots for my daughter as a Christmas present. The price was worth every nickle, dime and penny I paid for these boots. My daughter loves them and she states the boots keeps her feet warm and toasty. They are expensive, but they are well worth the price.

An addendum: The bar graph posted with my review from Dec. 6th is the exact opposite of what I wrote in my review. I feel these boots run 1/2 size too small and slightly wider than normal. I checked those boxes when I submitted this review (I'm pretty sure). Somehow this was displayed as the opposite when Zappos added the bar graphics. I've seen this discrepancy before and have wondered about it. Perhaps Zappos should look into it. I'm marking the correct designations in this review for sure. We'll see how the bar graph turns out.

I wear a 7 and that is what I got. It is about half a size small and I should have taken advantage of the half sizes in this style. However, I wear them without socks and they work great. If you want socks, order up. I got the white on a whim and absolutely love them. I wear a lot of athletic shoes year round and these look like those except they are toasty and the footing is awesome on the ice and snow. They are so cute!

I'm not a boot person at all, but I decided to finally buy some, so my feet would stay warm while shoveling my driveway this winter. I got these boots and fell in love. I've worn them with leggings a bunch of times and they are super comfortable and warm. I actually think they're cuter in person than in the picture. Love them!

The snow hasn't started flying in Chicago yet, but when it does, I'm ready! I love my new Ugg Adirondack boots! I've worn them around the house a little to get used to them and to make sure they fit, which they do. I'm thankful for the other reviewers who suggested getting them 1/2 size bigger than you normally would for the great fit. I know I'll be stylin' as I stomp around in the snow this winter.

Cute snow boot. These are warm, and I hope when the snow and ice start, they will keep me from a slip and fall this winter. I do wish the tongue of the boot was longer. When you stand up the fur lined sides cover your leg, the tongue is like 1.5 inches short, so the laces rest against your leg (which feels weird to me). This is not a problem if you keep the sides rolled down. These felt a little roomy. I usually wear a 5.5 or 6. I ordered the 6 and plan to wear them with thick socks.

A good looking serious winter boot, very nice in the blue, which I bought. The sole looks like it can handle a bit of ice, as well; not a quick slip on and off boot, however. Fits well with plenty of room for the inevitable wool socks...already have compliments on them.

This is the first pair of Ugg boots I have ordered. I am very happy with the workmanship and felt they fit true to size. There is room in the boot for a heavy sock which is what I was looking for. I am hoping they will be as warm as they appear as I live in ND and the winters can be brutal. Time will tell. This is a boot that has some fashion along with function which I am very pleased with. I have ordered from Zappos many times and as usual their customer service is awesome!

I had these in my "favorites" for a year - I finally bought them a few days ago. They were delivered to my office (because that's the address I used). When I showed them to the 2 ladies I work with, they went online and purchased them, too! I ordered the "sand," and I love these boots. The best part is that they come in half sizes, which is unusual for Ugg brand. The color is true to the photo. I wear a 7.5 (without deviation), these were true to size. Comfortable, well-made. I hesitated for years to buy Ugg shoes because of the costs; however, when I relocated to IL/IA for my job. I learned quickly that Ugg is the only true brand that will protect your feet, keep them warm, and wrap them in comfort. Well worth the price and they look great. They are snug (not tight), but that's necessary to prevent blisters with shoes. The shearling is perfect, high quality! Needless to say, Zappos is fantastic. Well packaged, arrived the next day.

The boot is warm and comfortable. I now understand why a friend of mine goes out of his way to find shoes/boots with vibram soles. My feet stay warm. I do not have to wear ragg wool socks or skating socks with these boots to keep my feet warm. Love them!

I find the photo of the grey boot misleading, as far as coloration. In the photo the boot appears rather pink, with grey accents. Once the boot arrived I found that the boot was in fact light grey all over with darker grey accents.

This boot is not as stiff as it looks online, which is a good thing. It is very flexible and comfortable. The boot is definitely a half size small. The only downside to these boots is the sheepskin/wool lining, it seems quite thin inside the boot, nowhere near the thick pile in my other Uggs. I won't be able to tell if they keep me warm until winter. I hope they do! Otherwise, this is a good boot.

So I have two pairs of these. The second pair isn't a replacement pair (I wanted a second color) but it was a decision that I really mulled over. I considered several different pairs and brands of boots but ultimately decided to go with the adirondack again. This is why I ultimately chose to get another pair and why it wasn't that easy of a decision. I bought my first pair at Saks or Bloomy's or somewhere in Manhattan in spring of 2011, maybe? I don't remember exactly when/where I purchased them, but I loved them. It was definitely manhattan, and they were definitely cheaper than i could've gotten them elsewhere. (Where I'm from in PA, the shoe stores just put unsold winter-weather ugg boots in the backroom during the off-season, but not in manhattan. I was so excited!) When I got them home, I cried tears of pride. That whole spring and summer, I remember regularly praying for an early winter so I could wear my boots, but I also wore them regularly before that (to wash my car, my dad's car, my sister's car- everyone's car. Wearing shorts, a tshirt and uggs. I looked so ridiculous, but I was so proud.) The night before Halloween that year, we got a foot of snow. I felt so guilty. I swore it was my fault because of how many times I prayed for early snow just cuz I wanted to wear my boots. I felt guilty, but I also felt fabulous. I made a spooky snowman in my front yard while wearing my fabulous boots. Fast forward. It's been 2.5 harsh winters, and I still love my boots, but I'm not as enthusiastic to recommend them as I once was. I have an autoimmune disease that causes secondary raynauds - aka i have terrible circulation in my hands and toes so I'm always cold. Just opening the fridge makes my hands feel like ice cubes, and it hurts at times. I do love these boots, but now I notice that my feet are always cold and a little damp when I wear them. The snow this year has been rough- we've had a few blizzards and other miscellaneous (crappy) winter weather. The sludge is the total worst. Through all the frozen wind and chiseling my car from ice or digging it out of snow, I've noticed the boots aren't super duper dry or super duper warm. But I take it with a grain of salt cuz I am sensitive to the cold. I have to wear a lot of socks regardless, and I always carry spare socks, so I am ok with it. No shoes would be capable of warming up my icy toes. I've tried. That's why I decided to write a review- as a positive endorsement with a mini disclaimer. Overall, my feet feel damp, but the boots have good traction- as in, haven't fallen yet. I really hope I didn't just jinx myself. The boots are pretty enough that I feel I can get away with wearing them, laced up over my slacks at work. (I'm a retail pharmacist with a little bit of an edge. A retail pharmacy is a forgiving place if you're spunky and competent.) The boots are stylish enough to wear with yoga pants (ahem, slacks if my bosses or elderly customers ask) and still retain the image of a quirky but semi-polished pharmacist. My feet don't hurt at the end of my 14 hour days, nor do my knees or back, etc. If I have to trek through snow (it's happened as many times already this year in PA as it had cumulative in the last 3 years) my feet aren't as warm as they could be, and they feel maybe a little damp. I think the take home points are that my feet look good and are comfy (not everyone's feet are the same though) but they can be chillier and damp. Take that as you will. I have a little more disposable income than some people, and I decided the good outweighed the bad FOR ME and just bought a second pair. Just realize that they're not the end-all, be-all. They're not totally perfect. But I liked them enough, and I could afford it. Make sure you consider all of those factors, as well as the relatively high price. :) Happy shopping!

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Green Bay for a playoff game. Living in Dallas, this is not the type of boot that I would ordinarily need, and I didn't want to sacrifice style just to have toasty toes. I debated on keeping these, and after much waffling, these are going back to Zappos. Yes, my feet would be toasty. Yes, the boots are seriously comfortable. Yes, they are durable and well-made. But... and this is a big but for me... they are hideous. Beyond ugly. Surely there's something out there with form and function, and if anyone will have it, it'll be Zappos!

These boots are adorable and I'm sure great quality, however, I've tried my normal size and a half size larger. The shape of the boot seems to push my foot forward so that my foot is forced to the front, however, there is a substantial open space behind my heel. I've tried with and without socks. It seems to be the area just above my heel (at the ankle) that doesn't allow for my heel to go to the back of the boot. Too bad, I love the way they look. Thanks to Zappos for working with me on exchanging. I'll try a different style boot from Zappos!
