I've been coveting this Ugg boot for years. This year, I finally splurged on them. I read a ton of Zappos reviews. All that feedback was helpful. I made two returns in process. I wear a 9.5, the 10 fits perfectly without socks, which is how I like to wear my Uggs. The Obsidian color was more attractive on my monitor. I was disappointed in the brown tone when the boot arrived. So, I sent it back to Zappos. I then ordered the Otter color. That color also looked better on my monitor. I expected the Otter color to be more in line with the color of a classic Timberland. When the boot arrived, the Otter color had greenish undertones, to me. I didn't like that. So, I returned again for the black. The best thing about the black color is how it makes my feet look smaller. The Ugg Adirondack Boot II is very flexible. I was surprised at just how flexible the boot is. The top of the toe box and shaft are very pliable with movement and feeling of a rain boot. The shearling footbed feels very plush under my toes and I absolutely love that. I'm not crazy about the toe box shape of this boot. I wish it were more rounded. IMHO, a rounded toe box would look more classic and fashion forward at the same time. It would also give the foot more space for a thick sock. I'm not crazy about the look of this boot on me. However, it's a solid functional purchase. The Adirondack II is well made. It is light weight. It feels like it will be durable. And it's warm. However, I've not worn them in the snow yet. There is no arch support. These Uggs are great for driving. The flexibility and plush shearling felt awesome during my drive. The sole feels substantial with a nice grip. I must mention the Zappos excellent customer service team. They are so friendly, expert and helpful. They making shopping on Zappos a real pleasure.

I'm in LOVE! So comfortable, lightweight, warm and toasty. Worth every penny.

I'm stoked on these boots! Haven't gone more than the trial period around the house as it hasn't yet been cold enough here in Santa Cruz, CA to wear them out. Can't wait to test drive them in the snow this upcoming holiday and snow season. I'm going to travel with them to Maine and Mammoth, hopefully they pass the waterproof test. If I'm able to post another review after my trips I will respond as to their warmth and waterproof abilities. The fit was amazing very true to size with all of my other Ugg purchases across the board. I can tell these boots are going to be in my life a long time!

I purchased a pair of these boots in Otter in a size 7 1/2, regular width. In Timberland and Merrell I wear a 6 or 6 1/2 W. But it is very difficult to find Wide width in a size below 7. So, my mistake was to think I had to settle for a 7 1/2 regular width. I bought that pair at a store in Portland, OR. I knew they were too long, but I wasn't tripping over them and they were heavily padded, great traction, warm and not your typical UGG 2 year life expectancy. These were serious snow boots. I also didn't wear socks (or need them) with these boots. But over time the wonderful heavy insulation (like you see on the tops of the boots in pictures, but really cover the entire inside of the boot) started getting matted (not that they still didn't keep my feet warm and toasty), and even with a second pair of fleece bottoms that you buy individually for these boots they were loose. So, I found them on Zappo's in blue size 7 W and immediately ordered them. Out of 4 pair of different snow boots, these are my absolute favorite. And despite the fact that I really wear a size 37 european or 6-6 1/2 in US sizes in this particular boot, I needed a size 7 W. The arch supports fit perfectly and the laces, when tightened up looked fine, not too big where the sides overlapped or anything like the larger size had done. I've been wearing them all over some of the most brutal weather and mountainous trails along with some really loose, icy trail and they have kept my ankles supported, relieved a lot of stress on my feet with the great support and kept the snow, ice, water or whatever out. At times I put up the cuffs and in deep snow or breaking trail in the snow, I attached gaiters to really keep the snow out. Bottom line, I haven't found anything to beat them for serious traction, support and warmth over 4 decades of wearing snow boots. I have hiking boots, lightweight pull-on snow boots (with warm fleece lining) and just about every variation of "functional" boots (including riding boots, but never a designer boot) and come snow or ice these win hands down. Just remember that they will be longer than I'd ever imagined. Order at least a 1/2 size up and if you wear a larger size maybe a whole size up. They don't fit the same as most other UGG comfy boots and they are built entirely different with a much longer life expectancy.

I've been eyeing these bad boys for a couple winters now and finally purchased. I love the look and feel of these boots. I'm sure they will serve me well in Chicago.
