Zappos substituted a different shoe without checking with me. I'll try the shoe but that's not a good way to conduct business

Comfortable boot in the foot bed, but the tounge does not stay in place at all it rolls so far to one side of the top of my foot starts hurting. There is no way to keep it from happening, I’m on my feet 10 hours a day walking a lot, stopping many times a day to adjust. I have stoped wearing them out of frustration. I haven’t ever had this problem before what a waste of money.

I usually buy the 6" but I decided to try a pair where the boot shaft fell below the ankle. I opened the box to find that one of the boots was damaged. The sole was broken apart from the boot at the toe. It's pretty major! I've never had this problem with Zappos before. I did notice that my order was being shipped from Amazon, so maybe they don't have the same quality control as Zappos. I had to order another pair but I wish they would have noticed it before they shipped the damaged pair, I need them ASAP.

In less than a year the soles split in half, I expected better durability form a timberland product. I should have looked at the product reviews before purchasing.

The shoe is comfortable, poor quality. The sole split after 2 years. Very disappointed in the quality.

Full time factory worker. Purchased this pair because nothing else I tried would give me the comfort I needed on concrete floors for 8+ hours a day. I give the shoe a A+ for comfort, style and the durable leather upper. The tongue and quarter lining is made of a cushiony and highly absorbent athletic shoe like material. Inner-soles provided support for my foot in all the right places and were soft enough to absorb the shock of step after step without compacting or becoming hard. The big problem with this shoe is the outersole. First off, it is NOT a Winter-friendly tread. Just not aggressive enough. A lug style pattern would be much better suited for this shoe. Next, the materials the sole is comprised of is much too soft for the tread pattern. The sole is molded in such a way that encourages splitting across the flex point on the ball of the foot. Ultimately, my pair lasted exactly 5 months until the sole of the left shoe cracked completely across all the way through to the footbed leaving the whole shoe worthless.
In my opinion, this shoe would be better suited for lighter industrial wear, but it is definitely overkill to offer this shoe with a steel toe because the sole will just not stand up to the rigors in a work environment where a safety toe is needed.

The quality of this boot is not very good. My work day keeps me on my feet ~10 hours a day with maybe half an hour a day in a warehouse. The comfort of the boots is fine, but they just aren't lasting. I've owned my boots for a month and a half and the soles at the toe are already separating from the shoe. Also, with only minimal warehouse work, the toes are heavily scuffed and show many knicks in the leather. Very disappointing.
