Tough pair of shoes. I have owned several pair of the boots that are basically the same as these shoes. Nice pair of shoes for someone who needs a shoe that laces and has a thick, stiff sole. Didn't need a steel toe, but it is really not a factor. I couldn't find a pair of shoes of this quality in stores. Casual and stylish enough to wear with casual clothes, and tough enough to work in a farm environment. Highly reccomend.

They are quite nice, but just a bit tight. I wish I could have them in a 7 1/2, but I am sure that an 8 would be too large.

Nice shoe....
The ONLY complaint I have about this shoe is that you can feel where the steel toe comes to an end inside the shoe. It gave me a blister on the side of my toe. Ouch. However, the shoe, otherwise, is well made, top quality and just the look I was after. I am a professional in a huge warehouse and am on my feet all day. I think the shoe should have a bit more padding where the steel toe stops inside the shoe. Other than that, it's a very nice shoe.

No complaints... only worry is how long the wear and tear will last.

Good one!
The leather is comfortable and tough! Needs some inserts for support, but that's typical of most work shoes. Steel toe fits pretty well but I bought wide since the toe is never wide enough otherwise. Even still, they are a great buy.

A great, comfortable work shoe!
I bought these after I needed a steel toe replacement for an existing pair that had worn out. I was very pleased that they had arrived a few days after I placed my order. The first day, like with any shoe is a battle due to break in. The next day was a lot better and these shoes proved to be very comfortable for a safety toe. I have to say though, the front of the shoes get cut up pretty easily in a warehouse when dealing with pallets and the like. My shoes looked like I had them for a year in the first couple of days but hey, they are work shoes right? My only regret is that I wish they made these in half sizes as mine were a little big. Overall this is a great shoe and I would recommend anyone who is on their feet all day that has a job where steel toes are required, this is a shoe you should definitely consider getting.

Look and feel-
The shoes look and feel is good. The toe cap could use some padding. You can tell that the toe is a hard toe. I think if the toe had just a little more padding the shoes would be very good for a steel toe shoe. The fit as fare as the size was good and that is important to know when you are doing a mail order. The shoe is also the lightest steel toe I have ever used.

Fire department -
I wear these shoes up to 24 hrs a day and found them to be comfortable than the Doc Marten work shoe. These are light fit well and provide good arch support

Hot Shoe -
I was very pleased with the weight of this shoe over previous pairs of Steel toes. However the tong is very high on the top of the foot and pushes into ankle (unless you have fat feet). And these shoes don't breathe very well. As I type this my feet are on fire. Probably will try something else next time I'm in the market.

I have worked as a Toolmaker/Machinist for over 40 years. This is my 3rd pair of Timberland work shoes. The first two pairs lasted around three years. The current shoes are wearing very well except the right shoe has the bottom layer of sole rubber separating from the layer above it. The shoes are only about a year old. It appears that the two layers did not bond very well. I am a little disappointed with this pair.

Ordered the exact same pair/size as previous and these were so tight. Need to send back to get a wide. Was very happy with previous shoe, excellent durability and wear.

I have wore timberland pro work safety toe work shoes for 13years. Maybe the most comfortable work shoe ever !!! In those 13 years I have purchased 13 pairs... yes 13 pairs. The soles only last one year then they crack at the arch. Once they crack your feet get wet .. So if you want really comfortable shoes here you go. Trade off is they only last a year. ( for me you might have better luck)

I have been buying this shoe for going on 20 years now, for the work I do about 1 new pair every 2 to 3 years. I whatever the "new" configuration is. has always been. It has been a shoe I can wear all day no matter what I do - even in my off work time. the last pair I got was too tight, not as in they got the size wrong but, as in there was a change in the manufacturing. I have oiled them, worked them and, not 1.5 years into wearing them... still the left shoe is too tight. I will probaly try one more time... as this is an excellent work shoe but, if you cant count on them being comfortable - thats a deal breaker.

I bought these for general work around the yard and home shop. Chose them because above others because they were made in USA. I like the feel and comfort of the shoes. As some have mentioned, heel may take some getting use to and needs to be a little broader. Broke in nicely and maintains its looks with minimal care. Big problem is the sole separating on the right shoe. It seems to peel on the outer edge and work itself around. This occured after about 3 years of lite use. Disappointed in that and probably will not buy again.....given the price.

I use this while working on a ship and in the ship yard. The shoe is comfortable, but the back of the ankle was designed too tight and cuts into the back of my ankle. Once I put in a heel pad/arch support it does not bother me. Another issue is the tongue in the left shoe slides to the left and this starts to hurt my foot after a while. I will sew in a lace guard into the tongue to keep it in place. Besides that, the shoe is nice looking, comfortable and not overly heavy. Future designs should maybe incorporate a lace guard and widen the ankle so it does not rub.

This is my second pair. I'm on construction sites walking a lot and they just don't hold up. Good fit and comfort, but for the money, I'll try something else.

Nice Oxford work shoe except the tongue isn't centered, and works it's way to the side: quite annoying. They are made in a good place and not cheap; poor quality control.

While the shoe was extremely comfortable all day long, the leather was of poor quality and wore away on the toes of the shoes in a few months. Sad to see that Timberland has reduced the quality of their products.

Shoes look great, we're good for non-slip and fit like I expected. But the height rubber on my ankle and the front of my foot/let. I had to return them since it started to hurt and never got better.

Found these to be very comfortable. I had low comfort expectations because of the safety toe. My only problem with the shoes is that during cold weather the soles become very hard and as a result they lose traction quite easily. I have worn them less than a month and have slipped and fallen twice.

This is my fourth pair of Work Pro shoes. First three pair were great. This pair feels more narrow, even though I took the box with me when I ordered them to ensure I got the exact same shoe. I have worn them about a month, and they just don't seem to be breaking in like my previous pairs. I require the wide width, and wonder if these were mis-labeled.

First pair of work shoes I have had to purchase due to safety toe requirement for my job. I must say, these shoes are very comfortable from the the moment I tried them on. No break in period, no fatigue from being on my feet all day. the upper portion of the shoe is without fault. The fit is true to size, I wear a wide and the size was spot on. However, the sole did not hold up well. I work in a factory environment as an IT specialist. I am in the factory a lot, but not subject to the rigors of working machinery for 8-10 hours a day. So, I was surprised that the soles of these split across the bottom in just about 12 months, just from walking and bending. Granted, I wear them every day, but for the price, I would not expect to have to replace them annually. Sadly, I will be looking for another brand to replace them.

Feel pretty good, but: DO NOT WORK IN THEM -
Shoes looked great out of package. Looks like a mix of a dress shoe and a work boot. I loved these shoes until I started to wear them and they started to come apart. The leather on the toe of the shoe will tear with great ease. A dog was walking by me and stepped on them which caused huge gashes in the shoe. Leather then began to just wear away around other places of the shoe that came in any contact with ANYTHING and especially at the top of the shoe where the ankle is. The minor act of walking in these shoes has caused the ankle to wear away. I am not rough in them but they appear to have been through hell.
