I purchased narrow, and these are definitely narrow not just in width, but in depth (height? the toe box, my toes are squished, not from the sides but from the top). They are not comfortable at first, they need to be broken in. This takes a few weeks of daily wear (4-5 days a week for about a month). Once broken in they are fairly comfortable. I like them because they have a sturdy heal, at a nice height, look professional, and come in narrow. I will continue to find an alternative, but I have been buying these over the past decade.

Really nice leather. I needed new sensible office shoes, these fit the bill perfectly. I ordered my true size, 7.5 and was a little worried as they were snug. After a full days wear, they were broken in and are very comfortable. Heel is a block hell, seems more like 2-1/2 inch heel then 2, but again comfortable.Really happy with them and would purchase them again.

Very comfortable shoe, the sole is rubber so they are quiet shoes. I really like the quality of Franco Sarto shoes and this one didn’t disappoint. Great shoe!

I couldn't even get half my foot into this shoe! The toe box and width seem generous but the length seems off by at least a full size.

Shoes is beautiful, great leather but wrinkles very quick. Tried it on and was too tight for my feet. Maybe I have a wider feet but this shoe in medium width is very narrow and the leather will stretch and create crease after 2-3 wears. The heels is great but craftsmanship is a bit messy, there are white glue residues all over the heels. I think I might return this product after debating on if it's worth it. Very narrow, but very sleek and cute.

Yikes! I ordered the wide version of this shoe and had an ugly step-sister moment when my big ol' feet wouldn't fit into the narrow little shoe

Nice shoe for the office, yet unfortunately it was too small. Ordered my usual size 9, and it felt about a half size too small.

These are very stylish - I ordered the brown - but very narrow in the toe box. I know they will stretch with wear, but I think that with the amount they would need to stretch, they would end up looking shabby and distorted. Very sad because they are beautiful.

I really wanted to like this shoe and to keep it. It is great with pants for work. I am returning it because there is a lot of pressure on my heel/ankle in this show. I have a narrow, hard to fit foot, and this shoe fit nicely, not slipping on the heel and narrow enough in the toe box as well.

I tried these for work (I'm a flight attendant) and had to return them. Even is a wide, they hurt my feet and i just couldn't get comfortable in them. They are super cute with a nice heel and arch support but not for long term wear.

I can wear them with everything from jeans to my black dress pants and feel fine. The heel is deceiving; although chunkier than spikes, they act and feel a little like spikes.

I have this same shoe in a shiny black (although not patent). The 9N fits perfectly. In the calf black, however, 9N is a half size too big. Returning them for an 8.5N. I really like the Nolan as I have a hard to fit narrow foot. Typically fits like a glove.

Fairly comfortable to stand in for an hour. They are sharp looking shoes that are stable while loading passengers onto an airplane, lifting suitcases, babies, tottering grandparents, and shoving carts around. Then it's time for flats.

I loved these shoes right out of the box. The leather is beautiful as is the quality of the shoe. The problem for me was the width of the heel. I have a narrow foot and while the main part of the shoe fit perfectly the heel was too wide so it slipped. I'm so disappointed that they need to go back.

I love the look and fit of this shoe, except for one thing: The toe box is very shallow, and it pinched my big toe. Have to return these.

Bought these for work. They are comfortable and the heel height is perfect to wear with pants or skirts. Good looking simple heeled loafer. True to size with ample room in the toe box.

This is a handsome, well-constructed shoe with a somewhat narrow toe box compared to the regular-width heel pocket. Because of the narrowness of the toe box I have rated it as feeling a half size small.

Very comfortable.Cushioned insoles make walking pleasurable. I have very narrow heels and the shoes fit perfectly.One flaw with the pair I had the material from one of the heels came off, but Zappos un-hesitantly replaced it. Overall, I am very pleased with the shoes and with Zappos Customer Loyalty Team.

Great service Zappos. These shoes look and feel great. My only minor complain is that it is a little bit low. At 2.5 inches heel height I guess that I should expect that but it would been great Franco Sarto Nolan if these were 3 inch heels!

I have purchased several pairs of Franco Sarto shoes and until now have never been disappointed. These shoes look great but after a few wearings they feel too narrow and my feet are sore at the end of the day. It just feels like there's no give.
