These are good, solid shoes, true to size and width. They seemed a little tight at first but have stretched just enough to be perfectly comfortable (to me) - although I should stress they didn't stretch a lot - just a little. It's been a long time since I've worn shoes with a heel so it's taken me some time to get used to it. I'm certain that if I always wore them, I would find them very comfortable (but I don't wear them every day). One huge plus for me, this is the only pair of shoes I have ever been able to wear without stockings or socks and not get a blister! In 40 years, this is the only pair!

Zappos was great, however, Franco Sarto is now having these shoes made somewhere other than Brazil. This shoe used to be my favorite and now the leather is not what it used be and my sole is coming out only had them 3 weeks! Franco Sarto will not be my brand any longer.

When I first put these on, they felt tight in the width, but they very quickly stretched and are now great. I wear a 7W but ordered a 7.5W based on reviews. I suggest you go up a half size. Very comfortable with a nice heel height and a very solid feel to it. I wore these for several hours on the first day.

I love these shoes! I have very narrow feet and have difficulty finding shoes that are both comfortable and cute. These shoes hit the mark in both areas. I wear them all the time and am so pleasantly surprised on how comfortable they are throughout the day.

The first time I wore these I got compliments. I love them...they look great with jeans as well. I liked them so well I bought them in 3 different colors. Fit true to size. I wear a 9 and bought a 9 and they fit great.

These shoes fit well and are very comfortable from day 1. Just like everyone wrote! They may be a tad large - I usually wear 9.5, got 9.5, and they feel great. But there is sunlight between my heel and the shoe's that a heel pad would fix. One thing I wish was if the heels weren't set as far out. Makes the shoes look as large as they are. Oh well.

I wore this brand years ago, a loafer and it was not very comfortable. Decided to try again because I wanted a block heel to wear with pants. I’m a flight attendant. Wore them yesterday for the first time. After 6 hours my feet were so sore. When I changed into my flats I noticed that the lining was deteriorating. Once I reached my hotel room they were even worse. Plus the lining ruined my white toe polish. Cheaply made. Will be returning these after I get home.

I bought these shoes last year and I thought they looked like an old woman's shoe so I sent them back. I just ordered them again and absolutely love these shoes. The heel is great and they are so comfortable. I am not a young chicken but I do not wear old women's shoes of any kind but these are awesome. If you have a narrow foot like I do they will not disappoint.

Zappos service is fantastic. I order my shoes and they arrive within 2 days. They have great customer service and when I have to return the shoes which is rare, they are very helpful. Zappos has a great selection.

I love these shoes! So much so that I have one in each color. My feet are long and very narrow and being able to get the half sizes enables me to get a better fit. That's one of many things I like about Franco Sarto shoes. I wear them almost exclusively. I should have stock. As always, doing business with Zappos is effortless and always a pleasure.

Not bad. Could use more cushion on the ball of the foot. Look good. I am on my feet for at least 8 hours 5 days a week. These shoes are better than most heels. Would recommend them to anyone going for a classic, comfortable heel.

I love these basic black pumps - they are very comfortable even walking/standing all day on marble floors.

Great shoe for work. Good stable heel, comfortable height and classic look. One shoe was a tad tight and caused some aching, but it stretched out in a couple of days and seems to be fine now.

I absolutely love this shoe! It is a higher heel than I normally wear, but it doesn't feel like it's really high. I think it's because the heel is so sturdy. I gave comfort 4 stars, because the shoe required some breaking in time, but for overall and comfort, I give this shoe 5 stars!

These are very comfy shoes! I am 10-1/2, 11s usually are too wide, but these size 11 are narrow enough in the heel that they fit well. Hoping they don't stretch. Very cute style!

Great shoes! I have worn them with jeans, casual pants, dress slacks, and even with my suits -- very versatile. They are a heel that I can stand in all day. This is my second pair of Franco Sarto shoes. They are comfortable and look nice but are not extremely stylish. All in all, a good shoe.

I just purchased my 5th pair of these awesome shoes. I love them! They give me a nice lift at work and I wear them with slacks. Each pair lasts about a year to two years and I get my money's worth out of them. The heel is the stacked heel which I love. I detest stilettos. The comfort is perfect - and I can't say enough good things about this shoe. Can't wait to get my 5th pair.

Franco Sarto is one of my favorite shoe designers. I have a lot of his shoes. They are super comfortable and last a long time.

I had these shoes before...the most comfortable work shoes ever. Because I knew my size it was easier to order online. Fast shipping, great service!

I liked this shoe at first. Unfortunately it stretched out quickly and became too large. Then, in less than 6 months of wear, the sole tore off. This shoe was a major disappointment.
