Hugely Disappointing - I bought this style with the understanding that this was a wider fit style; but it was hilarious how big it was. It's not that I bought the wrong size, it was just sooooo wide. When I looked down at the shoes, it was like I was wearing those big red clown shoes. Purchase with caution!

Loose fits are comfy - I got the loose fits, and they are very comfy, except the left foot is slightly smaller than the right foot. To go up a size would than be too big. A little more toe room would have been nice. Still, I love the shoes.

Comfy, but silly looking - I have wider feet than normal. Like hobbit wide and I was stoked to hear about these. I got them as a Christmas gift last year and as soon as they were on, I was amazed at the comfort level. But as I continued to wear them I realized that they just don't look right. The white rubber toe is wider, obviously... but not longer! They have the classic Converse look all around except this crucial point. I've been wearing All Stars since I was very young... I even have a misformed toe due to them. It's a sort of signature for me... but these just don't work. I still wear them when I need to be on my feet all day, but if I'm going for "that" look, I leave them in the closet and go with my trusty blues.

Cute but uncomfortable - I ordered these shoes and love the way they look, but they have 2 problems. 1) The heel slips a lot and has a part that cuts into my heel. 2) If you have a high bone on the top of your foot (you know who you are - you can't wear clogs) these shoes hurt that part of your foot.

Very comfortable for Converse - I like them, but my daughter said they are too ugly to wear. She said, "They look like someone cut off the toe." They were wider in the toe than I expected, but they are comfortable and have more arch support than the traditional All Star.

Erm... I didn’t like these shoes. They were comfy and all but I was expecting the old classic look, these certainly don’t have it. The toe is fatter and the whole shoe is wide. Good for people who have wide feet but not for those looking for the good old style.

Duck feet? I have wide feet, period. It is incredibly hard for me to find shoes that fit comfortably ALL the time. However...this was definitely not a shoe for me. It looks like a horrible parody of my original converse shoes. Not only was this shoe absurdly wide, the laces are so long I suspect that you have to have a pretty fat foot to fit into it. I have regular converse shoes and they fit well, but sometimes feel too tight and I gotta let out the laces as far as they can go. I thought this was the answer to my problem, but it definitely is not.

These shoes look ridiculous. They are incredibly wide. If your foot doesn't fit comfortably in the regular Converse, try a different brand - not this shoe!

AHHHH!!! Okay, so I'd written a review earlier praising these shoes for their construction... Boy was I wrong. After a month, the sole tore away from the toe of the shoe so now when I walk it looks like my Chuck is talking.
