Size - Ladies, if you are between sizes, go smaller. I went larger and I almost can't wear them... although since I already spent a day out on the playing field finding this out, it's too late to send back.

Asics review - Very nice shoe. Love the color. Comfort wise wish they made a wider shoe.

WAY too narrow - I love the color and that it is not leather. But now I sadly have to return them because they are super long and narrow. I can't risk them hurting my feet if they don't break in for the near $80.

Identity crisis? A few things… The design is pretty good, but not as good as the picture here indicates. I agree with an earlier reviewer who said that the shoes resemble hiking boots (which is not hip). This is not only the case with the brown ones; I have the Smoke Red/Ivory and there is a similar problem. This is probably due to the heavy tread. You can’t tell from the picture, but the tread wraps all around the toe, which give the shoes an outdoorsy feel. As far as comfort is concerned, I may still be in the process of breaking mine in, but they feel very stiff. A pair of Puma Anjan’s are very flexible right out of the box, but these are quite rigid. Hopefully, they will become more comfortable with time. This shoe seems to have kind of an identity crisis. An earlier reviewer says that he/she read about them in Outdoor magazine. It’s hard to tell if the designer had crunchy granola, North Face fleece people in mind or if these shoes are intended for urban hipsters. This merger between the two subcultures does not work very well. I agree that Pumas are getting played out, but they are certainly a more stylish option than this shoe. Also, the Smoke Red/Ivory is a cool color scheme, but you may have a hard time matching it with your outfit.

Look cool, but have no cushioning - I've had numerous compliments on these shoes since their purchase, I only wish they were as comforatable as they looked. I own a couple of pair of converse and I thought they were uncomfortable- these shoes take the cake. The hard plastic bottoms against the concrete are painful.

Nice looking, but not comfortable at all - They are very nice looking shoes. But for first few weeks, you have to be patient with their uncomforted design. My toes were bruised for months because of them. After the first washing, you will be regretting that the black dye is all over the shoes and they don't look nice anymore. Terrible quality.

You can't get by on looks alone! I had to return these shoes because they are completely devoid of comfort. I know shoes need to be broken in, but these felt like rocks on the feet. No cushion, no support, and while I was impressed with the artificial suede, they looked as though they were already thinking of falling apart. Very cute, but lacking all vital organs for a shoe!

An old classic becomes a new dud - I am not certain what Tiger had in mind when they decided to resurrect the brand and some of their classic designs. This is the fourth or fifth style I have tried (both online and at 'bricks and mortar' merchants). My pair of Gantrai's where tight throughout, especially in the toe box, and there is virtually no cushioning inside. As for color schemes, the "cardinal" version, in particular, is a garish display of baby blue, red and yellow that significantly limits your choices of season and outfit-matching. So much for the three most important factors in shoe design...fit, look, comfort! This pair is going back to Zappos (which, by the way, remains the gold standard of online merchants) for an exchange. Maybe these re-issued Tigers are the sort of brand that should be shopped for in person (sorry, Zap!) because of the idiosyncrasies. Or, maybe you'll have better luck.
