Great Boots! I first ordered these boots in "Antique Gold"...HIDEOUS color but was pleased with easy return procedure. 2nd pair "Dark Brown" BEAUTIFUL!! Good fit & even with higher heel, very comfortable. Thanks for suggesting 1/2 size smaller...would have been too big if ordered regular size...order came fast & return credited back on credit card promptly also...not like some places that charge your card immediately but take several billing cycles to credit your card!! I would definitely order from Zappos again & recommend to others!!

Vintage at it's best - It's a classic boot and wonderful with jeans tucked in. The foot bed is a bit wide but fits well in the thigh. I wear a padded sock in the foot which works well. Overall, this is shown in Boston Proper Catalog and it’s one fine boot. Zappos is absolutely the best!

So Awesome! These boots are so awesome and gorgeous. Perfect for a boho look, they are so romantic looking with flowy, gauzy skirts. I do not usually go for this type of look but with these boots I just LOVE the combination! They will need some good leather oil to soften the leather a little bit but overall these boots are worth every cent spent! I absolutely love them. They are comfortable as well as look good. I always wear between a size 7 and 71/2 after reading reviews I ordered a 7 and they fit perfect! My husband thought they were HOT!

Frye Villager Lace - A truly exquisite boot! The lady who wrote how romantic these boots were was right on.......these are just that! The rounded toe fits so comfortably. I think that these boots are one of the sexiest boots that I own! Thanks again Zappos for such speedy delivery.

Great Boots - buy 1/2 size smaller - Wore them and got TONS of compliments. I wear an 8 1/2, but ordered both the 8 & 8 1/2. What all the reviews say is correct - they run a half size large. Save yourself the hassle and order the 1/2 size smaller only. Stiff boot and will need some breaking in. (They're made by Frye so the leather is good quality). The 3" heel looks fabulous but it's not for comfort!! But I say if you look that great who cares???

Great great boot - Great style, very worn leather look, totally hot. Tall heels if you’re not used to them, but very sturdy so you feel supported.

Villager Frye Lace up Boot - This boot is awesome, fits perfect, comfortable, etc. This is my second pair of Frye boots, and they are very comfortable. The only thing with this boot is I asked for dark brown, the box said dark brown, but the boot was copper. :(

Bohemian chic! A must-have for any bohemian inspired girl. This is actually the second time I have ordered these boots (brown distressed) from Zappos. I wore mine all last season (Fall thru Spring) and loved every minute. Then I purchased the same boot from Nordstrom, but in a deep dark brown espresso color. My little sister in college begged me to give her my "old" pair so I gave in. I really like my new boots in Espresso, but I almost instantly regretted giving up such a great pair of boots with that worn and distressed look. So I just ordered another pair to replace them - they're that adorable. Yes, these boots are all sized 1/2 size too big. And there is room left to wear socks. The Boston Proper catalog is showing these exact Frye boots tucked into skinny jeans. I also wear them with cropped denim gauchos, and of course, with funky bohemian skirts.

Order a half size smaller - Great boots. Luckily I read the reviews first and ordered a half size down and they fit perfect. I have very thin legs and I'm so glad that I found a pair of boots that I can custom fit with the laces. Love these boots and Zappos for a speedy delivery of three days.

Wow! I just received my boots the other day and I couldn't be happier. I was a little nervous about buying another pair of Frye boots without trying them on first since their sizes vary for some reason but I am so glad I took the chance. These are some of the most comfortable high heeled boots I have ever worn and extremely versatile. I would recommend buying them a half size smaller than normal or wearing a heavy pair of socks. Since I am flat footed I had to add an insole but other than that, these are a great pair of boots.

Romance in the air - I immediately thought of flowing skirts and peasant style clothing when I saw this boot. Have these pieces in my closet and could not wear without the right shoe. Now that I have the boots I can wear these clothes and live the romantic fantasy. Not sure why I love the combination of rugged (booots) with delicate (clothing) but I must not be the only one - my latest vogue magazine just arrived and the model in it was wearing frilly skirts with the same boots - looked incredible!!! Although a little clunky (heavy) to walk in, they are beautiful and I have received many compliments.

Half size larger, but since I have a bit wide feet it works out. Real nice & comfy. I fell in love with this pair the first time I saw it. Good thing Zappos have my size. I didn't pass up the chance. Thrilled to finally have it. Way to go, zappos. You're the best.......

Great Boot - I fell in love at first sight! I originally found this boot at a dept store, but they didn't have my size. I was so dissapointed, but then found it here and absolutely love this boot. It takes a little getting used to as far as the height of the heel, but very worth it!

LindaJo - These boots look fantastic on and make you feel sexy. The distressed look is very comfortable. Looks good with skirts and pants. The laces are totally adjustable and then you just zip them up. I love em!!!!!!!

Great looking boot! These do run large so I ordered a half size down. I probably could have ordered a full size down and been fine but I wanted room for a thick sock for comfort. I am getting tons of compliments on them! The lace up is great to fit them as loose or tight as you'd like. I'm still breaking them in and LOVE them.

Make me feel like a woman- These boots are outstanding- no pun intended. I highly recommend these boots; their comfort, design, quality and overall jazzy look make me happy just to stare at them, let alone wear them! If you have thin calves- and when I say thin, I mean ridiculously so- these boots are a great fit.

Really cute boots! I love these boots -- they're really sexy, and considering how high they are, amazingly comfortable to walk in. The front laces mean that even if you have narrow calves you can get them to fit, and the zipper makes them not a pain. I have some foot trouble so I put in my own insoles, but they still fit fine. (I usually wear a 5.5-6 in shoes, bought these in a 5.5, and there was still room for an insole and a woolen sock, if that's helpful to anyone.)

Frye Villager Lace - I love these boots! The distressed look goes great with jeans or skirts and the quality is excellent. Additionally, they're very comfortable considering the 3" heel. Frye boots are wonderful, but I've found the sizing can sometimes be a challenge. I generally wear an 8 1/2 and sometimes a 9, but in this boot the 7 1/2 fits me perfectly. In case this helps those of you who have other Frye boots, and are trying to determine the correct size, I wear an 8 in the Harness boot and an 8 1/2 in the Katie Ring (short).

I love Villager! Fantastic, gorgeous boots. I wear a 7, ordered a 7 and they seem ok, not too big. Extremely comfortable, I have wide feet and my toes didn't hurt at ALL after I wore them 9 hours the first day. Rugged but sexy, easy to walk in, probably the best boots I've had in Years! LOVE THEM!!

100 stars! No question - these are the hottest boots going and the toughest to find. They have been on back order for three months. I have seen then on eBay for twice the price. Zappos finally brought them back into stock. First and foremost, these boots run 1/2 size too big. It is a MUST to order one half size smaller than normal. Secondly, these boots are meant to be seen. It would be a crime to hide these under jeans. I wear them with boho skirts and with denim cuffed capris. I sewed leather patches on my capris to match the boots. The look is adorable. They are perfectly comfortable, even with the heels. This is a boot like the Frye Harness boot that Frye should never, ever discontinue

I absolutely love these boots! I have received so many compliments on them from friends and strangers. Not only are they cute, but they are extremely comfortable for a pair of high heeled boots. I usually wear a size 8 but ordered a 7 1/2 based on other reviews I read. I'm glad I ordered the smaller size because they do run 1/2 size big. You can't go wrong with these!

Frye Villager Boot- I love these boots. They are very distressed looking, but I don't mind that. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9, the 8 1/2 worked well. They felt some what stiff around the ankles, but I feel this will lessen it time, it hasn't bothered me. For a high heel boot I have to say they're very comfortable. All in all a very cool boot.

Beautiful Boot - I love these boots. The quality is great and the leather is awesome. The heel is perfect and because of the laces in the front, they zip up over muscular calves. I typically wear an 8 1/2 and I bought these in an 8. They are perfect. Highly recommended.

Frye Villagers- These boots are to die for!!! They are very versatile and comfortable. It doesn't feel like you're walking on a 3 inch heel (which is pretty high for me). I did some research before purchasing and sized down 1/2 size, which I'm glad I did. They fit perfect!
