This was the 6th pair of these boots I have purchased through Zappos. The comfort of these boots is unmatched. I have had two of the soles separate from the spongy material bonded to the sole, and then the boots must be discarded. The Titan toe is very light, and I wear these things all day in the brutal Florida weather, and my legs do not feel heavy at the end of the as I do with any other boot I have tried. I recently tried another brand that had received high user rating on Zappos, but the fit and comfort was very bad, so I came back to these Timberlands.

Comfortable to sacrifice durability - Great fitting boot. The best of only 3 steel toes I have ever worn, but the worst when it comes to lasting. I have only worn these when working on galvanized walkway grating and normal walking on asphalt. First, you need a toe cap for these if you are constantly working on your knees as my titanium toe became visible after about 6 months. The toe stays in place and I am able to continue to wear the shoe. The other day I checked my soles and found that I have none after only 9 months of use. There is even a huge split running across what is left of the sole (foam padding).

Purchase this boot to work in yard and DIY projects. Always wanted quality work boots and dangerous not to have good boots for yard and DIY home projects.

Honestly, these are the best boots I have ever owned in my life. I wear them every work day and have long walks to my train and office and feel absolutely comfortable in them. I never have to worry about weather (except insane amounts of snow which would be a pain for any shoe). The steel toe is so good and unobtrusive, I've never felt it (even though I have wide feet - size 13) and I've bumped my toes on several occasions and never noticed it. Also these shoes are built to last because somehow walking in NYC pretty much kills any other boot, walking shoe, or cross trainer I've ever used as my mainstay work shoes. The soles of these Timberland Pro Titans must be made of sci-fi material because they barely show any wear out with the insane amount of walking I do in the city! Best boots ever, just as comfortable to walk in as my Asics cross trainers day-to-day. I can't recommend these strongly enough!

Awesome hot weather boot! Super comfortable. I hate boots and the first day I owned them I kicked a full work day in the butt! It was 85 degrees and my feet got warm, but never got hot to the point where I must take my boots off. That is a first for me! The safety toe is well designed and doesn't interfere with my wide foot. These run a bit narrow.

Can't say enough about Zappos...ordered on Monday and received Tuesday afternoon. Regarding the boots, I have had them for almost a month and have been very pleased. I purchased the EE wide width and feel that there is adequate room in the toe and arch. Good padding at the ankle and leather feels broken in after about a week. The composite safety toe is lightweight and the boots overall don't seem overly heavy. A month in, I would recommend to anyone. Only thing I would change are the laces...slick finish makes them tougher to keep tight when tying (minor issue).

Timberland PRO Titan 6 - Great light weight protective shoe. My feet felt great even after 7 hours of work on a concrete warehouse floor. Just used them during an ice storm and had no slipping or skidding. These are great for work or personal use.

I have found this boot to be more comfortable than the previos version of this boot That I have worn for years. It is very light and has plenty of room in the toe. It is the most comfortable protective toe boot I have ever worn.

Terrific yard and light construction boot - This light-weight, stylish for a work boot, has all the features that a pro or handyman could want. Comfortable, yet offers the protection that your feet need, whether on a construction site or doing yardwork. Clean it up and its ok for that rugged, casual look.

Very Comfortable Shoe - I had been wearing a pair of old Timberlands for a long time and was very dissapointed when I finally had to replace them. The discomfort of breaking in a new pair of work shoes made me dread ordering them. These shoes were so comfortable I wore them all day every day from the moment I put them on. They a great and I know the Timberland name will make them dependable and durable.

Great Wear, could be a little more durable. I bought a pair of these 9 months ago. The boots are nearing the end of their useful life. As a dairy farmer I put a lot of use into them. Routinely 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week. I found that the sole started eroding on the outside of both shoes within 3 months. I was worried about it, but it never really caused a problem. The laces snapped at month 7. However based on comfort this pair of boots held up. I am 6'1" and weight 235 pounds. I am on concrete almost all day. I have never had a pair of shoes that provided the comfort through the life of the shoes like these. I will be buying another pair.

Light Weight - I had to install a Dr. Scholl's insert to get the comfort I was looking for but don't let that fool you. This shoe is very light and well worth the money. I work 12 hours a day walking on pavement and loose gravel and these shoes feel good all day long.

Good Boot - I've only worn these boots for a solid week and a half now. And from day one they were comfortable and my feet felt better than my other boots. I'm over in Iraq doing a lot of standing and walking on 2" stones and these boots soles flex and make it a lot easier on the feet. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I never give the top rating.

Titianium makes me smile - These are the lightest most comfortable work boots I have owned in 20 years. The craftsmanship is first rate. I wish they offered it in a plain leather instead of full grain so they can be polished easier. My only concern is the sole to shoe interface, it appears to be glued rather than stitched. Time will tell if the durability is effected.

I had to return this shoe because it was not comfortable. I had a pair of non safety toes and loved them. These do not feel right. Zappos is great though.

Steel toe burn out - As with any steel toe boot the first thing to wear out is the leather right on the toe area which leaves you with holes on the steel toe long before the boot is worn out. I see some companies have started putting rubber on the toe this is a must have for any steel toe work boot. Mine wore holes in the left steel toe after 3 weeks!!!!
