Comfy snow shoe- Coincidentally I received my Snow Walkers the day before we had a big snow storm so the first time I wore them, I had them on for an entire day and evening, trudging through snow and slush. They're certainly waterproof, have great traction and are very warm, and they're comfortable. I ordered them in brown and as someone else had mentioned, they almost immediately got marred and beat up looking which I don't mind- they look distressed now. I've gotten several compliments on them and I'd highly recommend them.

Well Worth The Price- I needed a new pair of winter boots and I went directly to Zappos. I found the Propet Snow Walker and thought that they would be perfect. I have a wide foot and have a hard time finding boots that fit comfortably. These boots are great they feet in width and in length and they are very comfortable. They obviously aren't a dressy boot, but for everyday wear they look good. I am glad I purchased the Snow Walkers.

boots with style and comfort - I was looking for some rugged boots in extra wide, and these are just the ticket. They fit great, right out of the box, and the brown with the black fabric looks quite nice. The only problem: up close, you can see that the black fabric is pilling pretty badly, and the shoes are only a month old.

Very Comfortable! Loved this shoe! Very light weight and comfortable! Looked nice, also! Excellent purchase.

Propet snow walker - I bought this shoe because I have diabetes and suffer with cold feet when its cold out and snowing. I like the upper sock portion of the shoe because it will help keep snow away from my socks and keep my feet warmer and dry. We haven't had any snow yet, but I've worn them and they are a warm shoe. The padded footbed could have been a little more padded, but I'm sure an insert will fix that small problem. They are comfortable, and look good with jeans as well as any other casual pant im sure. My feet are a mess besides being wide (4e)because of how O walk on my feet, due to scoliosis, so I need a good stable shoe, and this one seems to do just fine . I have found Propet to be a true to width and length shoe.

Comfy, warm, fits my 7.5 W feet well, but got them a year ago, and by the end of the winter season something in the heel of one shoe had broken - took them to a shoemaker today and am paying $60 to have new, better soles and heels put on them. So...I like them, but expected better quality.

They feel exceptionally good; supportive, buoyant and good with traction. I don't think they could be waterproof though. If you stepped in a slush puddle the water would scoot right in beneath the laces. I had high hopes that I would find waterproof shoes in a wide size; shoes that I didn't have to babysit while walking in snow. These are not them, but I'll keep them while I continue to seek, 'cause they're comfy. Oh, and extreme size inflation. My foot measures 8.5 C and I settled on 7 D with these.

Practical, Waterproof, Warm, but. . . I was very excited to get these boots. I have to slog through some nasty winter weather--snow, ice, slush, mud, etc.--every day. I bought a 7 1/2 wide. I usually wear a 7W or 7 1/2W, depending on the fit. These were pretty comfortable, if a little big, from the start and I desperately needed them, so I wore them right away. After a few days, though, my heel started to ache, and so I put in gel heel inserts. The footbed is pretty hard. The inserts helped, but my heel still gets sore. So I wear my biggest, fluffiest, winter socks, but still, my heel aches. I wish I had returned these. I think Propet has a great idea with this boot, but they need to do something to soften the footbed--nice padding or something. I also wish I'd ordered the 7W. Everything else is fine.

Very clunky appearance - Nothing to write home about comfort-wise. Relatively little arch support - I would have replaced the insoles. Ordered the wide width and they fit my wide feet reasonably well with moderate-thickness socks but they looked HUGE, like combat boots. If I wanted combat boots I'd go down to the Army Surplus and paid much less. Maybe a narrower width and smaller size (although size 8 isn't exactly gigantic!) looks less clumsy, but they made my already-broad feet look so big, blunt and clunky that I returned them right away. Thank goodness for the free shipping both ways.

The boots are very warm and comfortable; however they squeak when walking like they absorbed water and never dried out. I thought I would try them again after drying for several months and unfortunatley they still squeak when walking. Very sorry to have to return everything else was fine with them.

This is the second pair of Propet boots that I\'ve tried. They are painful around the ankles, definitely could not do much walking in these. I\'m sending these back. Thank goodness Zappos has such a great return/exchange policy. I will not be trying any more Propet boots.

While I initially really liked these boots, the heel on the right boot started to disintegrate after only a few months of regular wear... I think boots should last at least a couple of years with normal wear... not a few months!

I had only worn these boots a couple of times when the heel started making a noise. There is something really wrong with them now; I get a hip pain every time I try to wear them. The company claims to have a 1000 mile guarantee but after I contacted them and sent them the requested pictures, I never heard from them again. I guess they don't stand behind their product. What a disappointment.

From reading the previous reviews, apparently I had the same problem. I had only worn these shoes for a couple months (if that) and the right heel started to give out. It visibly cracked on the side, and squished air sounds with every step. I've had a pair exactly like this before (bought about 4-5 years ago) and didn't have any issues then. The heel of that pair seemed to be made of a sturdier rubber. So I don't know if they're going to fix this problem or not, but for now, better pass on these.

I usually love Propet shoes and boots. This boot was a major disappointment. It's really comfortable but the material that the sole is made from is substandard. I had only had them for a few months when they started making a squishy sound when I walked--the side of the sole had cracked and the hollow air space filled up with water! I only wore them for a short time everyday too.

Comfortable Fit- My shoes arrived on a snowy day and I wore them that night. I was so thrilled with them as they were so comfortable and looked good with my jeans. I have a wide foot and I had lots of room. Ordinarily I wear a 7 1/2 but ordered the 7 as that was all you had in stock. I was amazed as they fit perfectly. I can't thank you enough for the boots.

This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair lasted about 3 Midwest Winters. These boots are comfortable right out of the box, are warm, and the treads make me feel sturdy and secure even on icy sidewalks and parking lots. The 7.5 W is generously wide, even comfortable with heavy socks. Moderage arch support. Propet offers a 1-year warranty on these boots; not many manufacturers will stand behind their product like that.

I have hobbit feet so it's hard to find shoes that fit. These are so comfortable. I didn't have to break them in. Hopefully you will get them back in stock.

OMG these boots are amazing! I was taking a last minute trip to Prague. These arrived only a few days before I left, so I had no idea whether they would work or not. It snowed the first day we arrived and was below freezing every day. Every day, I wore these boots through slushy, muddy streets for hours at a time. My hands froze, but my feet were fantastically warm. I cannot recommend them highly enough. One caveat: I have to wear my orthotic inserts for good arch support. The footbed comes out and you can slip the orthotics in and put the footbed back in over it and still have plenty of room.

Buy these boots! Warm, comfortable and great traction. Deep enough for an arch support. I went up half a size as Propet sometimes runs a little small for me.

Was so excited to get boots that were stylish and in my size. After about a month the heel on one side began to break down. I forgot to send in the warranty. It hurts to wear them. There still a good pair of shoes. Maybe I will give them to someone who weighs a little less than me that is in need of a good pair of shoes.

Snow Walker - I love this boot. Comfortable, waterproof and warm. I have worn these boots all day and my feet never got tired. I have ordered several different Propet shoes now and love every one of them.

Snow Walker - I was looking for a boot that would help me not slip in all the ice we seem to be getting this year. I put the shoe on and WOW, it felt great. They are a very comfortable shoe, with a moderate arch support. I kept them on all day, and never felt like my feet were tired. I LOVE THEM!!

I hugged them one night! I wore these boots the day I got them and I can't imagine them being more comfortable. FYI, I have flat feet, tendonitis (Achilles), a bad back and hip, and I walk with a cane. I had to be careful about what I bought. I read all the reviews and saw the "combat boot" comparison but that's not how they look to me. And they really do look cute sticking out from under jeans. They feel good, they're warm (but not unnecessarily so), and they're lightweight. I’ve worn them several times in Chicago cold and snow and hardly want to take them off once I’m inside. If you're into super-stylish stilettos with rapier-point toes, these may not move you. I am in love with them. Bought black ones and may come back later for brown. Also, ordered Tuesday, got 'em Wednesday. If I could, I’d hug Zappos, too ;o)
